As for crew I was thinking of the quicker and simpler plan of posting in The Gaia Job Center.
So we would create prizes for people who enter the guild or something? I'm not too sure about that. People may just come for the prizes and not stay for the roleplaying.
Maybe I'm just misunderstanding, though.
A writing contest could work, I suppose, though the guild could use some more scrubbing and remakes of roleplays or additions of new ones beforehand, I think.
I haven't been to Gaia in so long, so I've no idea what the Job Center is. Are we looking to pay someone to be in the Crew or something like that? Or is the Job Center not exactly for just that type of thing?
I'll try to do a little cleaning today, but I have a ton and a half of homework to do and work tomorrow, so I can't get much done over this particular weekend.

The Job Center has been here since 2007. I've owned it since 2013. It's for people hiring and looking for jobs, paid and unpaid. It's linked in my signature.

I thought that the Job Center was some sort of official Gaia thing, not a guild. Apparently, I'm easily confused today.
If you'd like to do those things, that'd be fine, but like I said, myself and SHD just haven't had the time to devote to this guild. I don't want to sell it for my own reasons, and you certainly don't have to try to get it back on its feet unless you really want to.
I'm alright with it either dying off or springing back to life, honestly. Not as sure about SHD's feelings on the matter. You and her can figure it out, if you wish.
Like I said, though, if you see this sinking ship like I do, as an old boat now sunk and rotting on the bottom of the sea, you may abandon it as I [nearly] have. However, if you feel you could rise it from its depths and wouldn't mind doing it with limited assistance, I will try to support you [and SHD and Reiko, if either want to]. I definitely don't want to put it all on you, and if you can find someone via the Job Center who really has the drive to help you out with it, you have the authority to make them a Crew member, as well as anyone else you may need.
All I ask is that anything in the Recycle Bin stays there, as well as anything else expressed by other members [Reiko & SHD, mostly] who wish for certain rp's to stay as they are.
I've already cleared out most of the other roleplays and tidied them up for new use.
I wish I had more time for and interest in this site, but the fact is, I just could take it or leave it. I've only really come back to try to strike up a private roleplay or two.
Once again, I apologize if you were expecting more from me, the Captain of all people, and I wish you luck, if you do decide to take on the responsibility. Like I said, I'll try to help out, but I'm just way, way, way too busy with more important matters to deal with this. I'm sure you have your own things to do, so I'm not telling you to do anything you don't want to.
Just do what you feel you can and want to, whether that's rising this place from the grave or letting it be and moving on.

I like taking on guild's that sink, this isn't the first time I've been VC in a guild that the captain left Gaia or let die.

SHD and I are going to have a subforum for our own, private, role plays, but that might be the extent of it.
I'm glad you see the potential in the old, sunken ship here.
I mostly do private, two-person replays these days, but I'll consider your rp website.
