So we begin with our hero and his mother healing his Pokemon after she had just cleaned up the massive destruction in his room from the battling of starter Pokemon..
Oh yes, his name's Sheen by the way.. (that was my nickname back in high school, Sheen the Machine. Very subtle, I know.)
Anyway, this is my team so far. Cerberus the Lillipup (couldn't think of anything more clever lol this nickname would be better suited for a Houndour) and Calypso the Oshawatt (this nickname is pretty fitting in my opinion, I'm always reminded of the sea when I hear that name because of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.)
I was switching my Calypso to the first slot when I noticed my little Cerberus had an item. I took it from him and it was a potion. I was was like "Wait... the ********? Those don't come out of the wild holding a potion..." Then, sudden realization. "Pickup... derp." I thought to myself "Hmmm... Not bad. This'll help out a bit, at least in the beginning."
So I set off to do a little training before the battle with N. It's been quite awhile since I played any of the Black&Whites, so I couldn't remember what he had as a team. That and this being a Nuzlocke, I can't ever be too cautious.
After a few minutes of training, I'd figured it had been enough. (Both Calypso and Cerberus were level 8 at this point.) So I head off to Accumula Town to be lectured by Juniper..
...I'm no noob.
YOU DON'T SAY!?
Don't over-think it Bianca. It's not like there's much you can buy at this point, besides letter stationary. (Also, I buy 8 Pokeballs and 8 potions. Cerberus took 3 balls to catch... That ********. I also had 2 potions up to this point, so technically he had redeemed himself.) 3nodding
So I'm all stocked up and ready for N and head out to the crowd and listen to Ghetsis' speech. As the speech goes on, I can't help but think to myself about how small-minded the crowd is.. Has the subject of "Liberating Pokemon" never been brought up throughout the vast history of Pokemon? emotion_facepalm
I dunno, ignore it?
Because it's completely impossible for you to go out in the wild somewhere, open your Pokeball, let your Pokemon out in the wild, and leave it. rolleyes I know it's heart-wrenching, but some things just just have to be done, given the scenario. -sheds a small tear in preparation-
Is it also implied that he's been getting brutally raped for years and years?
Bite the pillow, I'm going in dry.. (Also, all that preparation for nothing.. stare )
Well that was easy..
Famous last words, Cheren.
Figured I'd look to see if Pickup had struck again (How in the hell does a Pokemon find s**t on the ground when inside a Pokeball?) And it had, Cerberus had a Fullheal in his possession. I was like DAYYYYUUUMMM. Never had a Fullheal this early in the game before.
There's not much left for me here in Accumula. Time to hit the ol' dusty trail. When suddenly... Boom! Running Shoes! For impatient people! Shaking with anticipation, I decide to test my running shoes by running straight out into the tall grass. Then this happens:
Welp, there goes my chance for Route 2, besides it's not like I want a a Purrloin or Patrat anyway. -no sarcasm intended-
Dat music... Damn Bianca, it took you THAT long to buy things? Long story short, Cerberus put the smackdown on her Lillipup and Calypso OHK'd her Tepig.
Now on to the mystical city of Striaton, and some lunch.
And so our adventurer makes his way into Striaton City! What secrets and adventures does Striaton hold for our adventurer? Tune in tommorow to find out!
