As the tunnel he was in started to collapse in on his Arc wouldn't even attempt to move. His Gokin would spread to cover the only exposed area on the demon, his head, just before the rubble buried him. After only a few seconds the rubble would start to shift and fall down even lower than before as if the center of the pile had been disrupted. Before long all that remained was Arc standing in the middle of a ring of rubble completely unharmed.

"I haven't known Kira long, but from what I have seen of him it is his desire to protect those he cares about. To me it seems as if his own safety doesn't even matter to him. It would be his biggest flaw in my perspective. He doesn't realize that if he fights while disregarding his own safety he will be left unable to protect the ones he wants to. While he may have a strong will, I'm starting to think he was dropped on his head as a child."

As Oni stepped through the portal he would look around to see who all was here. He would quickly realize that he knew everyone that was here except for Enoch. "Keep the portal open for another minute or so. I don't know if the stray is going to follow us or not." With that said Oni would turn towards Kain with a rather displeased look on his face as he started walking towards him.

"Kain glad to see your safe, but I have to ask. Where the hell is Avery?" Oni had told the two that they were to remain together so he could only fear that the worst had come to pass.

"I'm glad that Enoch is willing to help. I'm also glad that he was able to help you out. It sounds pretty rough out there..."
Lucas looked down, in a rare moment of guilt. Sure, Heaven and Hell had been at each other's throats for eons but this time some of the blood spilled was because of him. Although he still believed he was right to defend himself from Aaron, he wasn't aware just how impactful his actions had been.

Lucas' gaze would lift up as he saw Oni step through the portal. His earlier thoughts were pushed to the side as he stood up to greet the King of Hell. Lucas wasn't so sure that Avery was well so he would let Kain address that. He'd let the portal linger for that time, curious as to whom Oni and Korra picked up.

"....."
The Fallen King would take another moment to reflect.

When he had been granted Kingship five years ago, Lucas had reluctantly accepted the position. He knew his reign was temporary after Kite had been killed. Lucas thought he knew that the Council was readying a proper heir to the throne. Yes, the thought of an "outsider" and a half-breed being Heaven's King had sounded ridiculous...unreasonable even. Yet the Nephilim had forgotten when he had turned his doubts into conviction.

Was it when Chaos and darkness ripped the realm apart? He needed Oni's help to keep the destruction at bay. Perhaps it was when he confronted the Realm Guardian, Rogziel with Wyndom and Raven. Lucas' learned that Heaven was susceptible to darkness and corruption. He had seen that a lot of Heavenly entities walked a thin line between conviction and madness.

The Council, Aaron, even the Realm Guardians...Their personal interests had allowed for innocent people to suffer. Was Lucas really that different? His darker "self", the Corrupted entity, Blight had even caused Lucas to falter. In his realization, Lucas would know just when he decided to appreciate his position on the throne. It was right after he had escaped the Abyss with Inferno.

Lucas knew he had to kill Aaron to live. There was no other choice and no talking out of it. It was a difficult decision but it had to be made. Yes, it was then that Lucas knew he needed to guide and nurture Heaven's people to a new era. Heaven was against the radical change of command, and in the peace treaty. It was a mindset like that that would forever bring calamity to Heaven's realm. Also he knew firsthand that there had been a corrupted seed planted in the Council for some time. It had grown so wild and thick and it needed to be uprooted.

The Fallen King did feel guilty earlier and it was because some of his allies had gambled their future and their lives for him. Even here now, his friends and comrades were gathered to fight for his cause. They had been there always, even when Lucas had slain Aaron.

Some decisions were hard to make but not all decisions had to be made alone.

Bahamut would watch Arc protect himself from the falling mountain and would notice the ground below him sink further, the substance would likely be the cause of such a effect, but it mattered not for the time being, he would look towards the rubble were Kira was buried at and would reply back towards Arc once more. "Impressive as he might be, he has sinned against me, and for that once i destroy him, then his world will soon follow him to oblivion." The dragon god would hover above the rubble and lift up higher and higher till he could see the whole area below.

"This world and the next shall burn and become void of life as i create it once more anew." Bahamut would open his mouth as a white light would begin to form from his mouth into a sphere growing larger and larger as even the ground around arc and Kira would start to rumble and float in place and the landscape it self would begin to shake. "The end has come! i had enjoyed your struggling boy what'll you do about this! Dragon God Art:Oblivion Breaker!" The Sphere would launch down towards where Kira had be laid.

The rubble where Kira would burst open as Kira would stand at the bottom of the rubble panting as the flames would ignite around him again, his gaze towards the sphere wanting to end the world that Arc and himself stood in. "Sin?" His clothes were ripped to bits and only his pants had managed to survive the entire time. "Only sinner i see is in front of me, one that doesn't care about life..." White flames would surround his body as white scales that'd look like feather's would surround his body and along his face generally the side of his head said scales would almost look like wings. "The biggest sin it's self is to not care about life!"

The sphere drew closer as Kira would form a wind sword in his right hand, and white flame sword in his left. "Grand Dragon Art!" Kira would put both hand's together as the swords merged into one massive blade pointed towards the sphere. "Heaven's Divider!" Leaping into the air the flames around his body would surround him as he clashed with the sphere in the sky coming to a stand still as the two forces battled back and forth, and what did Arc think of all this?

At this point Arc was reaching the end of his restraint. This Bahamut was acting like nothing more than a spoiled child. It was pathetic to watch and listen too. A god that respects nothing, and looks down on everything doesn't deserve to be a god. It was a disgusting sight, even Oni held more respect for life than this. His pride wasn't going to let him sit idly by much longer.

Stand against the tyrant!

[!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!]

The flames roared against Bahamut's sphere as the two forces battled back and forth, and Bahamut would roar as 8 wings formed on his back 4 on each side and would dive towards the sphere and slam into it shoving Kira down towards the ground. Kira would grit his teeth as he brought his legs up then stomped down as they reached the ground the flames igniting even louder taking the form of a large white dragon whose claw was what was Kira's sword. "How can someone with all the this power...be so corrupt!" Kira would roar as the flames started to burn brighter and the rocky outcrop would begin to melt around him and swirl around the sphere.

"Without power you can do nothing! I am a god who'll cleanse you of your sins from slaying my kin! then this world and then your world! Once i find the one important to you they'll suffer like i did and then will send them to oblivion!" Bahamut's wing's would flap and fold against the sphere and channel more power into it increasing the size of it and the power, and the world Arc and Kira were in would begin to shake.

Kira couldn't believe the words he was hearing from the being that invited him to come and train and grow stronger he would find the true nature of the one known as Bahamut in this world, and what he just said was enough to have Kira snap. Kira would extend his left hand towards the ruined mountain and kneel on one knee to keep his balance. "Come on..." The rubble under the mountain would start to shake as a loud clang could be heard beneath Arc and kept banging against the rubble as it trying to get out, Kira had summoned his sword and he needed it now more then ever hopefully Arc could free the mighty blade from underneath the destroyed mountain side.

Arc could hear the sound of metal clashing with rock nearby and would only shake his head. Even now Kira was in need of help. The demon wasn't sure what to do, he really wasn't in the mood to incur the wrath of a god, but he was at the end of his rope with Bahamut as it was.

Extending his arm towards where the clanging was coming from lightning would arc about his arm for a moment as Arc charged his attack. Then in a blinding flash a large blast of lightning erupted from the demons arm. The lightning would rip through the rubble all the way to the sword.

The Grand Stand!
[!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!]

Kira would grit his teeth as he would brace himself on one knee as he held out his hand, and he could see Arc in the distance clearing the debris from where the sword is coming from and would grin as he'd force himself to stand up and defy the god in front of him. "Your right...without power, you cant do anything, however you've forgotten something." Freedom would rocket out of the hole that was opened thanks to arc and the white flames would almost look like wings as the blade flew towards Kira's hand.

Bahamut would release his dragon's roar as the land scape around for miles would begin to rumble and upheaval, the tips of his wings would glow as 8 orbs would form at the tip of his wings and he'd place them against his Oblivion Breaker increasing the strength of the attack and the orbs would orbit around the large sphere and shove Kira further back. "It matter's not! i am a god! You who defy me a single mortal have sinned against me and you shall pay the ultimate price! for killing Azura!" roaring louder the ground reaching all the way to Arc would crack and begin to shake violently.

Freedom would rocket into Kira's left hand as he held onto it and would place the flat end of the blade against the Oblivion Breaker then taking his right he'd hold onto the sword with both hands. "For being a god you sure are stupid! damn right i'll defy you cause the true sin is not standing up to those who don't care about life!" The wind around the entire landscape would gust around Kira's body and the white flames would erupt and the form of a dragon would take physical shape, with the dragon's maw holding the breaker in place. "Those with power that fight alone, are destined to fall! My friends are my power now get lost loser!"

Kira would roar as did the dragon as the flames and wind would expand and surround around the oblivion breaker and begin to engulf it, and from below Kira would hold almost a thrusting stance. "Grand Dragon Art! Deity Buster!" Kira would leap with all his strength from the dragon's jaw into the Oblivion Breaker and pierce through it and into the face of Bahamut. Kira body would be charred and burned as he lowered the tip of the sword before colliding with Bahamut, with a massive headbutt into the forehead of the God of dragons.

The oblivion breaker and dragon would begin to disappear slowly as Kira bounced off Bahamut and fell as did the dragon god, was this the end of the battle?

XXXSabriel MegalithXXX

The fairy princess eyed her sorceress apprentice closely.
When it came to magic, Sabriel preferred to use hers for healing while Kora delved into people's minds to do things like make their greatest fears reality through illusions.
On the other hand, when it came to use of things like Giggle's toxic drool, Sabriel would do things like make an antidote with it, but Kora would use it as a weapon.
These differences made the pair very close, because they would often work together to figure out how and what someone had been poisoned with and how and what the cure was or might have been.

Flicking her eyes towards Oni, Sabriel's eyes narrowed.
Great.
Hopefully he'd stop calling her things that brought up very tender memories.
Though given that he seemed very interested in their other new arrivals, hopefully he'd overlook her.
Then again, maybe not… He'd have to interact with her at some point.

Lucas would begin to feel Sabriel's contribution to keeping the portal open start to dwindle.
At this point, he'd known her long enough that admitting something was taking a toll on her was something she'd never do.
But then that was typical for her.
Years ago, when she'd taken control of the Megalith after her brother's death, her qualifications to lead had been questioned by some of the ranks. It had taken a lot of hard work for her to win over their favor, and in doing so had earned herself some very loyal followers.
Followers that she didn't like dragging into personal business such as all of this fuss up here in Heaven.
A lot of what she'd had to do though, had meant not showing a lot of weakness, even when she was ready to drop.

What did that even mean? Wyndom stared at Enoch for awhile after he tapped the side of his nose.

...

Wyndom's attention was then drawn to Kain as he finally stood up and headed for Lucas, spilling news about Heaven's state of disrepair with every step. While it was true that Lucas had only been gone for a couple days, much had happened, and some action was coming. Wyndom could feel it, and he was sure the other around him knew it too.

Oni and Kora had joined the group as well, and they were waiting for a third person to show up? Was it Takehitsu perhaps? Didn't sound like it by the way Oni spoke about the person. Laphiette had gone to her own realm, so that left the girl..Nana or something if he remembered right. Regardless, the more the better at this point. Lucas was going to need all the help he could get.
Kira and Arc better hurry back.

Enoch and Kain

{:Location - Heaven:}

User Image

Kain would hear a familiar voice come from the portal behind him, turning to look Kain blankly stared Oni dead in the eye. Oni would immediately recognize that no longer was Kain Caucasian and instead had a somewhat strong purple pigmentation to his skin, with his hands being a rather dark purple.
"Avery....didn't make it, but I can bring him back."

I will bring him back.

Kain would let his eyes drop to the ground before wandering off to the side and out of the way silently. Enoch would look away from Wyndom and watch Kain for a few moments before looking back at each of the group and finally resting his gaze onto Lucas once again. Slowly and rather quietly Enoch would sit down on a nearby rock, pulling his hood back. Enoch's skin was a pale milky white, with dark colored veins running under his skin which was an eerie contrast. The same dark veins ran in the whites of his eyes, his iris and pupil being so near the same color that from a distance they were indistinguishable. A tattoo on his forehead broke it up his white skin, but nearly all of it was obscured by his rather long white hair that hung low to the sides of his face and forehead.

"What is your next step?"

Kora Stern

Kora grinned at Lucas through her mask.
She knew he wouldn't be able to see it, so she let the laugh show in her eyes and in her voice.
"Given the circumstances, I totally understand.
And hey, if you did have them, why waste them all on my appearance, save them for the big bash at the end of this when we've kicked everyone's asses huh?"

Looking at the portal, she could see Sabriel pull away and sighed slightly.
Nana wasn't coming apparently.
Looking over to Oni where he appeared to be going through some sort of little reunion.
Shaking her head slightly she looked back to Lucas.
"You can close up the portal. It doesn't look like the uh. Stray? is going to be coming after all."

She'd half hoped that Nana was going to follow them through the portal to heaven, but given the girl's obvious fear at their mention of the place, she wasn't surprised she hadn't turned up.
Hopefully she'd be able to find her way on her own back on earth.

A body came tumbling threw the entrance of the portal landing on her back she looked up very displeased at her clumsy entrance into heaven " been many a century since i jumped threw something like that, twice in a day" she thought to herself slowly regretting her decision to come. A sharp yet cold pain went down her spine as the holy essence of the place engulfed the fallen angel. As nothing could be seen, only she could feel her body .....more or less.........recharging. The fallen angel sat up her hood onto of her head she stood and dusted herself off, noticing those around her. Standing back up she exhaled a sigh looking to kora she noticed the .........dog thing....that was sitting next to her, the closest thing she could compare it to is that of a hyena. Looking over the new faces she saw oni, "fluffy" given the intention to retaliate his last comment, nana couldn't fine the mood at the moment, she then looked back to kora with a questionable look. She didn't know if she should speak her name or not, the woman was wearing a mask with an intention of be mysterious she guessed. She walked over to her but kept her distance, out of everyone here her fear was being detected of her presence in heaven. In order to calm the doubt she convinced herself of her age and the time kept under the radar it could be possible they just........forgot.

Another portal was opening. A broad, six foot tall vertical disc of golden light. It had not been intended, but she felt it. It was a calling that reached out to her across the vast cosmic planes of existence.

---

Raven exhaled as she reached the outer walls of Predator’s Keep, extracting herself from the throngs of people who were gathering for war. Roen, she had met in Patia—well received. War was an inevitable thing, and she wanted no part in it. She made her way through the gardens, half-heartily to check the countless plots of crops so late in the afternoon. Today was a day to extract herself from the world and unwind. To embrace her culture and allow it to mend her.

Raveena...

The sarong that was wrapped around her waist billowed against long, toned legs like cresting waves of faded teal dyes against alabaster skin. The woman moved with unparalleled grace as her bare toes met the soft grassy earth, each step deliberate and artistic; the sensual sway of her lithe and stride carrying her with a leisurely stroll. Beyond the gardens, beyond the academy she moved at a casual pace, honing in on her destination. Her nostrils flared at the scent of water on the wind and Raven knew she was close to the source of water Red had mentioned when they had first arrived to start building. Just beyond the barony, the lake by the forest had become her sanctum.

Come...

The sun was coming down from its high, vagrant clouds offering a scant cool breeze on her heated skin. Raven stretched her arms out, feeling powerful muscles flex against the golden band she wore on her left forearm. Today she dressed in the common Matreyan garb, forsaking her allegiance to the barony: her swimming attire a goldenrod yellow bikini overlapped by a stylized white sash that laced around her neck and tied at the small of her back. A golden yellow sash was tied at the waist to keep her sarong secure— the nautical ensemble a nod to the imperial colors of dark blue, gold and white. It seemed tribal in appearance, but it was a piece of her home she carried with her.

She needed home now. There was a pain that was festering and Raven needed it cleansed from her. She needed the solitude and quietness she had come to revere. Out in the wilderness, she was alone with her thoughts. She stopped by the water’s edge and peered down at the wavering reflection. Murky and green, she could see her features. Exotic and angular. High cheek bones, lovely hazel green eyes flecked with gold—nearly feline in appearance. She had grown her dark hair out again—long and intricately braided—plaits adorning her crown, a longer braid plaited from smaller braids draped over her right shoulder. She looked tired, worn and ragged yet somehow beautiful in her own way. Raven was a soldier, who did soldierly things and held no reason to maintain a beauty ritual. Scars dotted her throat—a memento from a heinous, barbed creature. Her toned, voluptuous form was riddled with scars--years and years of battle earned tokens.

What had she become?

Come back to us...

The sash was undone, and sarong slipping along her thighs and collecting at her ankles where it fell. She was a radiant thing, obsessed with binding herself in leather and armor. To hide away and protect herself from luxuries of sensuality, always eager to push her humanity to the brink of extinction for the sake of a higher cause. Muscles tensed as she buried her bare toes against the water’s edge, as if to grip that ledge. Her demeanor was entirely cat-like, poised as if she were to leap.

Come...

Here, time seemed to slow itself, and for a moment Raven forgot what it meant to be a soldier. She inhaled deeply, filling her lungs and expanding her chest. Slowly it was released. She inhaled again, those powerful muscles in her legs preparing to fire off. She lept from the grassy ledge, arms coming overhead as she pierced the surface and submerged herself through the diving process. The world became a brilliant flare of golden light, an unintended gateway opening and swallowing her as she descended into the murky water.

--

Raven had not realized she was answering an unspoken call. She was duty-bound after all this time to her King. Though she had not readily recognized the call, her soul had--spiriting her away to a realm she had not stepped foot in since being exiled by the Council.

Energy swathed and bathed her in golden light as she stepped through the Gateway. It clung to her skin and arranged its matrices as the magic wove itself. She was so vastly different than since she last stepped into the celestial realm. The moment she breached the Gateway, it vanished behind her, and could feel the hum of energy of the realm around her. She blinked and glanced around, several yards from the gathering group. Reaching up, she touched the ever-present sign of Cancer on her forehead which glowed dimly. The brilliant flare of her Equip ability dimmed and died, leaving her clothed in the ornate uniform of St. Anne, representing its colors of white, navy and gold trimming.

She sucked in air from shock and realization. There they were. So many familiar faces. Faces she thought were dead. Faces she thought she would never see again. Kira, who tracked her down and found her in the City of Doors. He fought with her and felt the full wrath of her anger and resentment, which they had resolved peacefully, urging her to return. It was strange the way the universe worked. Red went from being an acquaintance, a comrade notorious for abandoning her post, to becoming a Baroness and ally to a Devil. Raven had gone from being a foot soldier to a Commander of her own regiment and Knight. How strange their paths that bobbed and weaved, crossing and parting. It seemed the same even now with the others.

She could see Lucas, his back turned to her. Still as tall and handsome as when they had last seen each other so many years ago. She never once abandoned her task. Searching, always searching for the thing he was seeking.

It simply took her on a wild ride across the multiverse.

At long last Nana came tumbling out of the portal that connected this realm to Earth. He couldn't help but be reminded of Kira and his affinity for exiting portals upside down. At least he didn't break everything he touched anymore...
Wyndom stared at Nana for a few moments, but her attention was drawn to Onio and Kora, so he let her be. Instead, Wyndom's focus was drawn towards Lucas. He seemed to be deep in thought, even his spiritual energy focused inwardly. Wyndom's crimson eyes lingered, trying to stare into the depths of the King as he wrestled with something meaningful. Wyndom himself felt amiss. Everything had been torn apart from right under his nose and he hadn't seen it coming. He knew Heaven was in a state of unrest, but for the Council to amass such power undetected was baffling to Wyndom. Perhaps they had been laying dormant years before Wyndom arrived. Dormant..

The air rippled.
It shimmered with energy.

A golden disk of light scorched into existence as a pulse of energy raced out to Wyndom - he gasped as the echoes of the past collided with the future. The familiar presence of Raven was once again entering into Heaven, Lucas's final Vanguard finally returning to this realm.

Wyndom turned. She was most welcome here, and although it had been only a few weeks in Heaven's time since she departed, Wyndom could tell she had been gone much longer.
"It's good to see you."
