Avery continued to warmly smile at her as she told him that he was right, that she was a neko what could shapeshift as well what left him curious but could tell she didn't want to go into detail. 'Interesting to be honest I've never met one of your kind before. Up until now I've went to human schools." He said as he rubbed the back of his head

Ariel nodded as she continued to look through the books, "I've mostly been home schooled up until now. I tried going to human schools when I was younger and it didn't work out very well. I just wan't cut out for it I guess." She said casually as she more closely examined a few books.

Avery nonchalantly shrugged when she told him she wasn't cut out for human schools. " I don't think your the only one I would guess a lot of students here aren't cut out for human schools." He said before he walked over closer to her to see what books she was examining on the shelf. "Why weren't you cut for human schools?" He asked a bit curious as he looked at her in the corner of his eye.

Ariel thought carefully about her answer before answering, "I wasn't really in control of my powers when I was younger. And even now its pretty difficult to control them sometimes. After a while I just sort of shut myself out from the human world for their own safety...and for mine." She admitted. It was sort of a touchy subject to be talking about this, especially with someone she'd just met. For all she knew he could be asking her all these questions on purpose. She wasn't really sure why she was talking about it, she just was. This boy didn't really seem like a threat at the moment.

Avery tilted his head to side a little as he listened to Ariel talk. " I see that is a very good reason. " He said with a soft smile un-phased when she told she couldn't control her powers. "To be honest I would of never assumed you had troubles controlling your powers since you seem very relaxed. " He said to cheerful tone before he decided to change the subject since he noticed it was touchie subject for her. "So what grade are you in I'm a senior myself"

Ariel laughed in her mind. Not relaxed, no. Calm maybe, but not relaxed. She thought. She decided to take the opportunity to change the subject while she had the chance. "I'm a senior as well." She said as she managed another small smile, partly out of appreciation for him changing the subject.

Avery quickly raised a eyebrow when Ariel told him she was senior as well.
"You are? Nice maybe we'll have a couple of classes together." He said again in cheerful tone before taking a couple steps back from her and picked up his luggage he had placed the ground before he went over to talk to her.
"Looking for any certain book?" He asked as walked back over to her.

Ariel shrugged a little when he asked her about the books, "Not really." She answered as she continued to scan the books, "Just looking for something interesting to occupy my time while I'm not in class I guess." She reasoned. There wasn't really anything that had caught her eye yet.

Avery scanned the book shelf but then stopped and looked over at Ariel. "Oh okay.....Well I guess I better drop off my stuff at my dorm." He said smiling warmly at her. "It was nice meeting you Ariel I hope we run into each again soon." He said in a bright tone and gave he a quick head nod before he started walking away from her.

Ariel turned to look at him again and nodded, "Of course. I hope to see you soon too, Avery." She said in an almost sincere tone, which was somewhat off from the indifferent tone she usually spoke with. She even surprised herself a little when she said it like that.

Avery looked back at her with a bright smile after hearing her sincere tone. "Well see then." He said before he turned around and walked into the hallway leaving the library.
"Now where do I go again?" He thought to himself as he already had forgotten the direction Ariel gave. Not wanting bug her anymore he decided not ask her for the directions again and tried to figure out himself.

After a few more minutes of looking for books, Ariel finally decided on two that had mildly caught her interest and took them back to her dorm.

Trish slipped through the door, hoping to find no one here, and jumped on top of the bookshelf, dangling her feet, and giggling, what a rush, she saw something being brought back to life! She twitched her little ear as the librarian shushed her, she's never been shushed before! what a rush! Trish didn't have any friends, but she still knew how to have fun...

Fight!

It wasn't that long of a walk to get to the school's library but the walk itself was nice. Whenever Rose was with Raxsus she felt nice. Entering the library there were many tall bookcases filled with books with one reception or help desk in the centre. Rose smiled as she walked up to the desk and kindly asked where their section on Tai Chi would be. The librarian quickly pointed them to a certain bookcase, and off they went. Rose had noticed a blonde neko sitting on top of one of the bookcases, but she left her be as she wasn't on the bookcase Rose needed to be at. Getting to the bookcase the librarian had pointed to Rose found a whole section on different types of martial arts; If she liked reading more, then this would've been a little heaven for her. Instead she couldn't care that much and quickly started looking for some books on Tai Chi. "We get to look through a whole bookcase," she sighed, giving Raxsus a small smile. "I'm so glad we had lunch before coming out here now." With that Rose picked up one book, 'The Different Styles of Martial Arts', and flicked through it. There was hardly anything on Tai Chi, so she quickly put it back and kept looking.
