Why was this mare so similar to him? She was the same colors and seemed to have a past as bad as his own. "I never caught your name..mine is Titan.." he felt connected to her somehow as if he needed to help her a be her friend in times of need. "It seems we have much in common..It is very strange..though i am glad you care about my past.." he sighed again "It is not very happy one.." he had been through alot "Did you expect me to walk past you..? And not try to help a mare in need..? You a welcome but there is no reason to thank me..i am just doing what i know is right..If i left you here i would never accept that."

That was a true statement.Just like when she promised to help that one kalona male find his brother.She didn't know what for but she knew she'd get something in return. "It will get better."Eva looked over at him and shook her head just the slightest."You're wrong. You need a much needed one." Looking off to infront of them,she kept thinking about the others who talked to her and then left,never coming back."Most would." Personally she didn't know most of the soquili on the lands,but everyone she had passed either just wanted a small chat or never even noticed her.

"It is nice to meet you.." he smiles and looks to the sky noticing it start to darken. "Is it evening already..? Where did the day go.." he knew that time could fly when sometime worthwhile happened. He did not want to leave the mare but help her find a safe place to spend the night. "Do you have.. a place to sleep..? I know of somewhere you could stay.." he looks around worried that dusk might fall sooner than he hoped " I had no idea..it was getting this late" he stops for a moment "Most other are not me..you cant compare everyone to the same..not everyone is.." he starts walking again "I would love to hear about your past..it gets lonely out here with no one to talk to.."

The day was getting close to ending,once night came it would be even colder.She would be struggling to find some place to stay. "No." Inside it frightened her thinking that night was about to come."There are nice ones,very hard to come by." She whispered as they kept walking.Eva cringed inside when he asked about her past.What should she do?Lowering her head so her bangs would fall into her eyes,she hoped that he wouldn't notice her feeling a bit different.Talking about her past was probably the only thing that made her bring out some sort of emotion."Maybe..another time. " She started to feel like she wanted to tell him,but she barely knew the stallion.Who knows if he knew her old mate,but with such kindness from him it was hard to tell.Maybe he didn't know him at all.

"It sounds like you really are new here..If you have no place to stay i know where a cave is.." he was having a hard time talking to this mare since she never said much. "If you look in the right spots..there are plenty of nice creatures in the world.." he glances around "I hope that you enjoy your stay here..and then you wont be lost anymore" he nods "I know sometimes talking of the past can be very hard but it can also make one feel better"

Eva was happy that he was helping her find a place to stay."Will you stay?" She asked with a whisper. Of course there were nice creatures out there in the world,she knew some bunnies and birds. Eventually Eva would enjoy her stay here,once she found some others to keep her company.Hoping that meeting him would be the start of that,with his kindness. "....." She tried to speak out some words to start talking about it. "Maybe once we get to the cave." Eva looked down to the ground."Only if you can stay and listen."

"If you wish for to stay i can..i do not know you but i can.." he looks off and spots the cave in the distance "Come on the cave is right over here..i still would love to hear about your past.." he nods at her "I hope that i can provide..good company and that we can..grow to learn more about eachother.." the sun had nearly set as he reached the cave "I explored this when i was a foal..me and my brothers used to hang out here..those were good memories..now then what about your past..?"

"Don't worry,we wont be strangers." Ah the cave.Such a nice sight to her because that meant she got some nice warmth.Like Evangeline promise,she would share her past."My past is dear,please promise you will keep it to heart,and tell no one." It was very rare on a first meeting,but she did promise.Eva never went back on her promises.She looked around at the cave,and nodded slowly."It's a very nice place to play." She would share once he promised,She didn't want to take a risk on getting hurt.

Giving a slight nod,Eva laid herself upon the dry floor.It was just a bit cold,but it was better being in here than out there."It sounded like a nice time."She looked down a bit."I may...cry." Eva started getting herself ready to start explaining to the stallion about her life.This would probably be the only time she would talk talk this much,ever. "Life..as a foal was full of rainbows and flowers.."It hurt her inside to even think about talking about this."M..My old mate.." She lowered her head just a bit to cover her face."We met..we were together for years." Some much hatred and guilt filled her heart."One day.. He just suddenly..started to act a little funny.Next thing I know.. my whole herd is....."Eva paused a little bit when she tried to not let any tears fall from her blood red eyes. "....dead." This wasn't even the beginning to the whole past,it was just a very small portion.

He followed her and laid down near her but not next to her. He spread out one of his wings again and rested it on her back as a kind of blanket. He had no idea about what this mare might say. Her past would not be happy judging by the way she acted shy and timid. He lay his head on the floor and closed his eyes listening to her words. "If you cry..it is only natural to let those feelings out.." he did not pitty her or feel sorry for her he did not think down of he either. He could feel her staring to sob and tucked him wings in not sure about what to do. "Your mate..killed your family..? That is a horrible thing to keep inside..you have to let these things out..no matter how much it hurts..then you have to do the impossible..someday you must forgive him..It is an impossible though..if someone killed my mother..my family..i would seek vengenace..but is that really the right thing to do..? In order to move on one must forgive and forget..think about what your family would want you to do..would they be proud to see you like this?" he cocks his head hoping his pep talk would work "I am not trying to make you angry or my enemy i am giving you advice..from my experiences..i am sorry for you loss..that is unthinkable"

Eva's face turned a little red while she was tearing up.She felt somewhat embarrassed. She hardly showed any emotion,which this made her feel guilty all over again. Not knowing what to say she curled up in a small ball on the floor.His wing warming her up and keeping her sheltered. Heart aching,eyes burning,and her body shaking it was hard for her to even speak any words.She hated talking about this,it made her feel so much guilt. "I...can't.." She whined out. "I..can't ever forgive him.." When he brought up about her mother and how she'd feel about Eva being this way made her think of what her mother would actually think.Maybe she would be the same way if she was in her shoes or even would try to help her out of her little emotionless shell. "In..time..."She said softly as the tears still fell from her white face. "Maybe...in time..."

He looked at her again and felt something inside of him stir. This mare was like his mother is so many ways and also so much like himself. She had a past that was horrible beyond words and was stuck living in it. He had forgave his father and moved on but she was clearly stuck in those memories of the past. He wanted to comfort her but he did not know what to do or how to offer her any help. He moved closer to her and tried to calm her shaking feeling bad. " You will find a way to become stronger..when you do..you will be able to forgive him..it is true that healing takes time..sometimes time is the only thing that can heal the past.." he shook his head softly "I understand your pain and sorrow..there is no reason to live in that though.."

Eva felt like her heart was sinking slowly back inside her chest when she expressed all the feelings from her heart to this male.She had sworn to never speak of it unless there was something in return,though he did explain much of his story. She hated herself for letting this male get into her heart ever so quickly.It was like an arrow shooting her in the heart,it felt like she just wanted to get sympathy for her losses and be love all over again.Why?Why so quickly Evangeline? Shaking her head,she quickly hid her head. He was right,maybe someday she will become stronger and forgive him,but that day wasn't anytime soon.No matter how long ago that event was,it still felt like it was yesterday,there wasn't anyway she could get over it that quickly. Even if it was plenty of years ago,it just wasn't going to happen.
