After the racket died down, Alice returned to the Research Facility entirely exhausted from the day's events. She propped herself on a lab station and reviewed the sheets. She made some annotations on reproducing the Madness cure. Her eyelids were heavy and her body was ready to lose consciousness. As stubborn as usual, Alice fought the sleep and began pouring more solutions within vials.

"Your body won't be of much use to me if you're tired."
Once the vials were assembled on the rack Alice laid her head on the lab station, slowly closed her eyes, and drifted to sleep.
