"Pretty boring." Sonya replied with a shrug and a lopsided smile. "It was nearly impossible to stay awake through the whole thing. The professor was just droning on and on about..." She stopped to look up at the sky, a thoughtful look on her face. This was soon traded for a playful expression. "Oh, I guess I can't remember." She laughed and grinned at Pierce. "What about you?"

Pierce looked at Sonya's face as he listened to her, looking over the rest of her after as he was able to tell that she was a lot more calm than she was that morning. "Did you just sleep through class then?" He asked, wondering if this was what Sonya was like when she was tired. He chuckled as she asked about his class, shrugging a little and raising his arm to tuck back his hair. "I fell asleep in the middle of it I guess..." He chuckled again and looked back up at her with a smile.

Sonya merely nodded and flashed Pierce a mischievous grin to answer his question. When he mentioned he had fallen asleep as well, her grin widened. For some reason, it amused her to think that the human classes were so boring that students were falling asleep during them. Her mind began to reel and for a moment, it seemed as if she had forgotten all about reality. It the voice of some distant conversation between peers that brought her back. "Do you think the supernatural classes are more interesting?" She inquired, as if Pierce would know the answer. "Like, do you think they fight full on battles for life or death? All during class time, nonetheless?"

Pierce raised his eyebrow as he noticed that Sonya spaced out, raising his hand and moving it back and forth in front of her face. He called her name for a moment, wondering what she was thinking about, when she started to blink and speak again, looking back at him with her curious eyes again. "I'm not sure...I've heard rumors that those are the types of classes that they have, but I don't see why they would do that...But I'm also human and have different lessons needed in comparison to what they need..." He chuckled and shrugged. "We have our own supernatural classes to take too, you know...But I'm guessing none of them are on your schedule..." He said as he crossed his arms and raised his eyebrow, wondering if she even knew about what he said.

Sonya listened intently on what Pierce was saying. When he got to the part about being able to take supernatural classes, her eyes widened. "Dude, no way!" She exclaimed a bit too loud. She then dug through her bag in order to find her schedule in order to confirm what Pierce had said. She frowned as she saw all of her classes were pretty standard. She tucked the slip of paper back into her bag and turned her attention back to him. Her eyes were filled with a newfound excitement. "How can I get into one of those?"

Pierce watched Sonya as he explained about the supernatural classes, seeing the excitement in her eyes become more and more obvious with each word he said. When she yelled out in excitement, he jumped a little from surprise and rubbed his ear afterwards. "Yeah, check your schedule..." He said a little too slowly as she had already began digging through her bag. He noticed the excited look quickly turned into a frown, knowing from her face that she didn't have any of those classes in her schedule. "We need to take those to learn about the vampires and the werewolves so eventually you'll get it on your schedule...I'm pretty sure second year has a good chunk of those classes thrown into your schedule...But I suppose you can probably go and try and get switched into one of those classes now...Just switch one of your classes to one of those classes and take that one later..." He shrugged and put his hands back in his pockets as he looked at her again, waiting for more questions from her if she had them.

"There has to be a way to only take supernatural classes and skip the boring human ones..." Sonya said thoughtfully, not satisfied with the 'just take it later' option Pierce had provided. She then sighed dramatically and slumped over. "Oh why was I born such a boring creature? No special powers, no long lifespans, no nothing. Boring. Human." She failed to realise that she was monologuing out loud and that her words could be seen as an offense to Piece, whom was also human.

Pierce raised his eyebrow as he listened to Sonya, chuckling a little as she finished her little out loud monologue. "You know, you'd probably be saying the same thing if you were one of those creatures...You might want to be human instead...Maybe the life you have then is too wild or something..." He shook his head and looked around. "We may not be as fun or interesting as the others, but we have our own little things that make us special too, just like them." He chuckled a little, feeling like he sounded pretty cheesy as he spoke about them before he looked back at her with a small smirk and another chuckle.

"Well, I can tell you this: if we were find one of these creatures that "wish to be human"." Sonya proceeded to do air quotes with her fingers as she said that last part, "I will gladly help him with their task. Maybe find someone who has the power to swap consciousness or something. That way I can be an interesting creature, and the other dude can be a boring human." She had a stupid grin on her face. "That way we can all be happy." She then paused to listen to the rest of Pierce's little spiel. "Oh wooooooooooow. Talk about cheesy, Pierce." Sonya giggled and playfully punched him in the shoulder. "I didn't take you for that kinda guy, you know?"

Pierce rolled his eyes as he heard the first part of what Sonya said to him, chuckling a little. "Okay, see, now you're just talking nonsense." He heard her response to the rest of his speech and rubbed his arm after she punched him. "I'm really not that kind of guy...I just think you should give your kind a chance, you know?" He shrugged and looked back at her, waiting to see what she would say.

Sonya sighed a little too over dramatically. "Fine!" She crossed her arms, made a pouty face and stared up at Pierce. "What kinda fun things do humans do around here? And none of that cliche college stuff, 'kay? You gotta be creative." She couldn't help but grin a little with the last words she spoke. "Show me just how 'worth it' it is to be a plain, boring, no special powers human."

Pierce raised his eyebrow as he heard what Sonya said and watched her take a seat as she looked at him, waiting for his answer. "You sound as if you were suddenly thrown in to be stuck with the most boring set of humans you have ever encountered in your entire life. I'm sure you couldn't have had that much fun back at home. I'm well aware that this isn't home but there are things that some people do here." He thought about it and crossed his arms, placing his thumb and forefinger around his chin as he narrowed his eyes and got further into his own thinking to get as many thoughts as possible. "I'm guessing you count the parties as the typical college stuff, right?" He asked as he looked at her, smiling a little and pointing at her as he realized what would grab her interest before putting his finger back again. "Ah, but would you count the mixers that include everyone in the entire school, and I mean everyone, would be able to come down to?" He stayed with what he said and wondered if she would actually be able to pick up on what he meant. He knew she was smart, so he was ready to see the look of excitement on her face, wanting to see when it clued in. He chuckled and crossed his arms again, watching her face as she thought and watched him as well.

For most of the first part of Pierce's little 'speech', Sonya had her arms crossed and her face scrunched as if she was pouting. He had been right; her home life had been relatively boring and normal for a human, even when she tried to put some excitement into it. It wasn't until she really got into the supernatural that it became a little more interesting. She figured going to this school in particular would prove to be a worthy adventure for her. So far, it had been...interesting enough. But she needed more. She nodded and adjusted her glasses with her index finger as she listened to the spiel about parties. Boring. Normal. However, once he mentioned the 'mixers', Sonya's entire demeanor changed. She was now completely upright and alert, taking in everything he was saying. A wide grin spread across her face as her eyes lit up. She leaned in closer to Pierce, her words coming out so fast that they almost sounded slurred. "Everyone in the entire school? Youmeanlike, everyone everyone?!" She clenched her hands into fists as she began to shake a little with excitement. "Like, non humans as well? Oh. Emm. Gee. Pierce, we just have to go!"

Pierce watched as that bored look on Sonya's face changed slowly to a completely excited look. Her expression had gone from uninterested to impatient much quicker than he had anticipated in the moment as he told her. He chuckled and put his hands up to calm her down and give him a little space to back up, as he had felt that she had been crowding him with all her shaking. "Yes we can go...I think the next one is either a couple of nights from now or it's tonight..." He thought about it and looked around, seeing other humans sitting around the place. "Let's go find one of those posters...Or little postcards, more like...They're small invitations but everyone knows about them...They might be with all of the other invites and papers..." He said as he spotted a bulletin board, walking straight over to it and pulling down the one they needed. "There we go..." He handed it to Sonya, seeing a few of them. The invite had said it would be in a couple of days, and had a creature theme to it. "I think the humans are running this one...who's the creature we have to dress up as...?" He asked Sonya as he looked back at the one that she had in her hands.

Sonya was rapidly flipping through each little poster and invites. She was silent as she scanned each one, trying to intake all the information each one provided. They all seemed pretty awesome in her opinion, especially the ones that were hosted by the supernatural. It just so happened that she was glancing over a human hosted one when Pierce questioned her. "Uhhhh..." She stalled as she flipped the card over. "Graveyard Shift." She read some phrases involving very cheesy puns about the dead before looking up at Pierce. "Zombies, ghosts, and ghouls, I guess...?" She sounded more confused if anything. "Next Friday, around midnight at the old chapel near the history department." She couldn't help but beam. "Sounds kinda spooky, huh? Think they'll actually try anything crazy? Like get crazy drunk and hold a seance?"
