Whats better? The Anime or the Manga

I have to say to those of you who have only seen the Anime are not true Fruits Basket fans

Besides the anime was cancled because it pissed off so many fans they were not following the manga story line well. And Akito is a GIRL o.o

Lol just wanted to give my reasons on why I like the manga. I own them all and I'z loves them

That's why it stopped after 26? That blows -.- (and after I don't know how long, some of the fans are wishing for a second season of the anime)
whether it followed the manga or not, it was still a good anime. I honest love both of them I didn't care that the anime missed some pieces or got some things wrong, it comes with having a short budget sad

And I will say that I did watch the anime first, but later on read the manga and loved it more.

The anime pissed off the manga artist too. She demanded that it to be canceled after the first season.

XD I read the manga before seeing the anime....I didn't know that's why it was cancelled after the first season though o-o....

I read the manga and fell in love. It was awesome, but i tried watchin the anime and was disappointed on how they ended it. I read up on it and heard that the writer/artist had to take time of cause she hurt her drawing hand, so the other people for the anime decided to continue but changed the seen, so she got real mad and refused to continue. I agree with her, they should've just waited. Its really sad crying

I agree that the manga was far better than the anime. Fruits Basket is and will always be one of my favorite manga. It truly is a shame that it is no longer in print. If it was possible, I would purchase the entire series. But sadly, I cannot find them anymore.
