The Day i ran away from home and met "the dark side."

[Meowologist]

Katherine smacked Darien when he didnt pull back."i told you to get away from my face." she gave him a mock-brave face and tried to stand up, her legs so weak she fell over.  

[yoohoofairy]

Darien caught the empty box and it soon disappeared, he was good at making things disappear like that. He chuckled and stood back up straight. "It is very nice to meet you Kitty." He said as he hands rummaged through his pockets. "With that pretty face I cant really promise much." He sighed and got a candy out. He looked at Sola with a smile, "taffy?" He said with a wink and threw it to her. His eyes flickered back to Kitty on the floor.  

[Meowologist]

"um will I be allowed to leave? I-I swear I won't rat you guys out." she got up and sat on the ground, unable to really move anywhere.  

[Anxiety Incarnate]

Charlie moved his feet so he swung gently about an inch forward and backward. "You think we'll let you leave so easily now that you've seen our faces and our lair?" the boy questioned. He let out an exasperated sigh, "Really, it's quite bothersome. But I'm assuming you have some sort of idea, Darien?"  

[Meowologist]

Katherine looked around."w-well if I can't leave then what will happen to me?" she clutched her clothes tightly, almost ripping them.

Darien shrugged at Charlie, "nope I didn't really think it through." He chuckled, "all I was thinking was I just finished a mission and was running through the woods tired, and oh wait! A beautiful maiden laying asleep on the ground!" He sighed dramatically and clutched his chest. "It was like every male fantasy." He joked before looking back at Kitty and becoming more serious. "Well...beautiful maiden, I only have one thing to tell yah." He said with a sideways smile. "Join us or die." He said and patted her shoulder.  

[Meowologist]

"I-I can't...I could never hurt someone or steal..." she backed away until she hit a wall. She used the wall to try and stand up, looking for a way out.

Darien frowned and huffed slightly. "Am I really going to have to kill you?" He growled in exasperation. He took a step toward the girl and offered his hand to help her stand up correctly. "I would hate to hurt such a beautiful woman...perhaps you should think on it a little longer." He said with a reassuring smile.  

[Meowologist]

Katherine looked around and sunk to her knees, crawling away."Please don't touch me...I don't want to join you horrible people." she insisted

Darien scowled at Katherine, his face rather angry. He looked away from her and growled softly, "us horrible people?" He huffed as his nose crinkled. "In my opinion...people like you...who judge others even though you don't know them, are just as bad." Darien said, his voice slowly rising. "Yes... we are horrible aren't we?" He said in a sudden and eerie tone. "You have drug this out to long...and now you have upset me, make your decision and make sure its the right one."  

[Meowologist]

Katherine started to cry and covered her face."Please don't kill me..."

Darien put his own hands to his face but his was in exasperation. "Damnit...." he muttered. Darien couldn't help but be a sucker for crying ladies. "Katherine...if you don't want to die the answer should be easy." He sighed and shook his head. Darien frowned deeply and kneeled beside her, offering his hand. "At least stand up and stop crying so you can think correctly." He said and grabbed a hanky out of his pocket, offering it to her as well.

Sola nawed at the taffy Darien threw to her. It was a small piece, so she wanted it to last. She smiled when the girl started to cry. This must have been what happens in those suspenseful movies she heard about. The taffy started to make her teeth stick together, she put her index finger in her mouth and started picking at the taffy. Watching this little show and having taffy, this was the most entertainment she had since her last mission. Sola saw how soft Darien was getting with the girl, she rolled her eyes. He was always like that when it was a girl he dealed with. All talk and no game. That's why she usually dealed with them, but Sola had no obligation to do that unless Darien handed her over. Until then, she would just watch and see what would happen next.  

[Meowologist]

"B-but I could hurt someone even if I tried. I'd be useless." she cried more, trying to stand. Her legs were still weak but she manged to balance herself on the wall, wiping her face with the hankie.  

[Anxiety Incarnate]

"Seems like she's right about that." Charlie commented, still swinging. "Of what use is she to us?" He sighed, dissatisfied. "I hate to say it, but think we're better off just killing her." Charlie didn't like having to off young women, but it didn't seem like they had any other choice.
