Bray flinched back more when Jay protested his status as an outcast. "You misunderstand, those that you saw chasing me the night before are what your kind call werewolves. I do the opposite of what I should be doing. I can't shift into any other form but the two you have now seen." Bray explained hastily trying to divert the subject from the pack beating him. Blinking in surprise he raised his head. "My name is Bray."

"werewolfs? oh wow...thats amazing....bray huh? so what? just because of being backwards....i wont let them hurt you, even if they attack me, i wont let them get to you. you dont deserve to be in fear." he strokes his hair, smiling. "i like you even more now bray. im going to make sure you dont live in fear."

Having expected a bad reaction Bray could only stare in awe at the man when he promised hat he wouldn't let them hurt him. "Its a full pack there is no way you could stop them." Bray argued. He was however glad that someone showed him such kindness.

"i wouldnt be so sure..." he smirks. "im quick, and strong, ive spent alot of time outdoors and i know ways to confuse and to block. ive built up a pain tolorent...i could at least try to stall them that way you could get away or somthing." he smiles happily, geting up and returning with clothes. "here, im not sure if they will fit but..."

Bray looked even more confused when the man continued to argue with him. Telling him that he had done so much but what the man didn't understand was that he could be turned by just one bite. "It wouldn't work not with them as they are now." Bray continued shaking his head. "Thanks I do not wish to ruin them though." Bray shook his head.

he sets the colthes down, sighing. "if you ever want or need any thing then tell me, ill try to help you get it...well, your safe here, right? they wont knock down the door or anything will they? i can board up the door if so till its safe..."

"No they don't invade human places. It makes the pack to vulnerable." Bray explainedshaking his head. "Thank you...." he thanked the man. "No one has ever done such a thing for me."

"your welcome...its not every day a wolf runs into you and then turns into a human...im just amazed..." he says, a slight blush on his face as well as a smile

"No I suppose that does not happen everyday." Bray answered with a soft smile. "I have a question for you if it is not to personal. Why do you stay here if everyone of your kind that is around might hurt you. Would it not be easier to just find a place where you belong?" he asked.

"it would be...but i was born here...my father and mother died here, and i will too most likely. its not easy to find a place where you belong...rumors will follow you...i dont really mind that the town hates me...there was this one little boy though...he was about six...he would walk up to me and talk and ask to play...he ignored the fact that his mother told him that i was a strange man and go to me anyway. he with two others caught a sickness, thats when the witch rumor started...if i could get away from the rumors and the stones i would, but im still in this house, still sitting..." {oh god...now my hands hurt....}

Bray understood all that Jay said, talking about how rumors followed. There had to be some way to get away from it though. "Thats horrible..." Bray muttered sadness in his voice. "have you even tried?" Bray questioned suddenly. He had tried many times to get away but this was the first time he had succeed mostly.

"yes...the other town chased me out with threaten of death." he sighs, runing his hands through his hair.

"That is a horrible thing to do." Bray whimpered softly. "Your kind is just as bad as the pack." Bray continued.

"humans are terrible...im almost ashamed to be one. they think of nothing but ways to benifit themself...." he looks at him, smiling "but its ok....im used to it."

"Aren't alot of creatures like that? Everyone of us is trying to survive no matter whom we hurt." Bray answered. He was hurting the pack by trying to escape them. He was risking revealing everything, was revealing things to Jay that no human should know unless they were being considered for the change.
