Gwen was still a little depressed over the situation that had recently occurred. It still made chills run down her spine. It's funny how one little thing could affect you so much. Though Gwen was briskly snapped out of the deep thought that had brought her part way through the Grass Lands when a fireball skimmed her face. "What the--!?" Shouted Gwen as she stumbled backward, allowing her to see all that was occurring. For starters, there was a very large, very unmissable, dome in the center of the Grass Lands, though it looked as if it was made from solidified shadows. Around the dome was a girl on a llama, as well as a dark man, fighting the fire guy from before. No doubt the source of the fireball that almost burnt her face off.
Before doing anything, she used her mana powers to scan the area, which revealed everyone, from the pink llama, to the Shadow princess and her enemy in the dome. Though it also revealed an Ice Prince and some little House people, though Gwen couldn't see them. She just assumed they were on the other side of the dome. She noticed something strange about the House people from the scan, but decided to neglect it for the moment, as she had fire to put out. "Okay, I've had enou-- Hey!!" She was yet again cut of abruptly, by another stray fireball. "Thats it." Growled Gwen to herself, obviously annoyed.
Gwen's eyes began to turn a pink, the same shade of pink as her mana. Though it wasn't just her pupils that turned pink, it was her whole eye balls. This was Gwen channeling her mana, ready to use it. "Ortis!" She called out, and in a flash of pink light, her spell book appeared in front of her, floating at about chest height. "Ortis Expositis" Shouted Gwen again, as the book's pages began to flip frantically, before stopping on a certain page. Gwen's eyes began to revert back to their normal state, but were still angry at the fire man. "Hmm.. Now, lets see.. Hydrokinesis? Tornado? Ahh, how about this... Super Theca!" Called out Gwen, thrusting her arms outwards, as a blue wave of power rippled outwards, putting out all the fire it touched. It would die out eventually, but would easily reach the fire man. It would put him out for a good hour or so, taking away his ability to light, or even start fire. Organically, that is. He could still use matches and ovens, he just couldn't use his abilities for an hour.

Jacob broke from the meteor and landed on his feet. Now was his time. He erupted into his monstrous fire form and merged with the tornado. It was a risky move for him, especially since if the wind overcame his fire, his flames would be already put out. Right now, as long he maintained his fire control, he could stay as long as possible. Right now, he already had second thoughts whether he should keep trying to help protect those who tried hurting him, or joining another team.
He looked at a distance, and found a guy who he saw earlier, chased by vague, dark-looking creatures. He shot fireballs at the shadows, and particularly chose to not aim for the guy. He already trained himself to be the most accurate fireball shooter, next to Flame Princess, or if she was just trying to make Jacob and Flambo twins. He shook his head out of revelations and looked at the things outside the Shadow Dome. He saw another figure, one he knew, again shot another rather dangerous spell at him." GET AWAY FROM ME." He erupted. He was done being treated like a monster. Maybe he would just stay at the Fire Kingdom for another couple thousands years or something or maybe go some place where he won't be tried to burn out.
[OutofChocolate: Again, I'm just saying, Jacob didn't actually try to burn the house. Someone changed my post. Oh, and I'm really out of chocolate crying )

Holy Shmow! I would kill to be able to pull a trick like that! T'nix said, marvelling at the sphere that enclosed them, keeping the intruders out, as he could quite clearly make them out gathering outside, as though looking through a dome of water. He cleared his through, giving a slight blush of the embarrased sort, for letting his excitement get the better of him. Heh... Sorry about that. Either way, that's a pretty neat trick Princess. Let me know if it takes a bit too much effort to maintain that though. I can see about manufactering a barrier as well. It's pretty crazy out there... He said, gazing outside with a sigh.
He gave another smile as his terms were accepted, but she seemed suspiciously eager about it. Oh well. Not like he wasn't going to be cautious against the Shadow Princess. Well alright. Now there's just the issue of playing by the rules. I think it's only fair to let you make the first move if you so desire, since I issued the challenge... He said, simply staying put, not even reaching for his weapon which was mounted on the back of his armor as usual. I'll try not to hurt you too bad, if you do the same for me. He taunted, knowing they were both well aware of his resilience by now, this having not exactly been their first encounter, but perhaps their first battle. But I must say, I look foward to the results either way. With all the heroes, working with you for a bit might be pretty 'nightlike'. He admitted, seemingly without regret either.

Shawnee smiled, though it was more of a playful smirk, as her smiles usually were. She could see all the commotion going on outside, and the people trying to break her shadow dome and failing miserably. "Tsk tsks, dummies." She said haughtily, crossing her arms. They were very big dumb butts if they thought they could break this darkness so easily. She smiled as she saw her minions attacking one guy dressed in blue. Then she realized something. He had a shadow over his heart... Minions, capture that ice boy. She commanded internally to the shadow pandas who appeared out of the forest at her will. Her gaze then fell upon T'nix as he said the word nightlike. She bust out lauhing, "Haha, you saying that just doesn't sound right." Shawnee brought up her right arm which altered, growing in mass and changing shape until it was big and mallet-like. Her other arm begam thinner, and sharp as a blade. "Okay, I'll try not to kill you too much~" She lifted the large mallet and brought it thwomping down, aiming to crush him as she laughed.

Jek the Technomancer
Jek peeked out from behind the boulder. The coast seemed to be clear - for now. He decided to venture out again, following the ray of sun that pointed to the lost amulet. He was so busy following it that he accidentally bumped into Shawnee's shadow dome. Being of a dark heart himself, it absorbed him in. He walked over to where she was standing in the middle and crossed his arms. "Well," he said in a sarcastic tone, "at least you thought to use the Dome this time." MBO chirped in agreement. The magical beam of light couldn't penetrate the dome, so Jek knew he wouldn't be able to stay and chat long. The sun was beginning to sit low in the horizon and Jek wanted to make his assault on the Candy Kingdom at nightfall. He cleared his throat. "The amulet was no longer in the Love Kingdom, my lady, but the Love Princess was so kind as to give me this ring which will show me the way. When I retrieve it, I will bring it back here," he smirked, "so try to stay alive, would you dear?"

It had seemed that her spell had not affected the fire being at all. But how was this possible? Surely it would have taken his ability to use fire.. Unless.. He was made of fire? Maybe he didn't just have pyrokenesis, but instead, was a manifestation of solidified fire. She was tired of the guy. She needed to defeat this monster once and for all. A good old splash with hydrokenisis would be perfect right now. If there was any water around to control. Though, her attention was quickly drawn away from the fire man when she heard some rather strange growling coming from behind her. She looked back to see some rabid panda bears attacking a boy. Though, there was something different about them.. They were.. Different. As if shadow beings. Could it be? It actually could be. The Shadow Princess was here, therefore they could be under her control.
"Back off!" Shouted Gwen, as she lent forwards, as if pushing against an invisible wall. A pink circle-disk force field appeared in front of the boy, blocking off the monsters in front of him. They could still see him through the transparent pink barrier, so they were scratching it to get through, though they didn't have the brains to think about going around the barrier, but Gwen wasn't complaining. Judging by the two frozen pandas to the boys left, he could probably handle the few grabbing him. "Kid, can you handle them thre-- OWWWWW!" A harsh pain ran through her arm, causing the barrier to flash on and off a few times, before disappearing, allowing the pandas to reach the boy. She dropped to her knees as she looked at the horrific bite mark on her fore-arm, an ominous black began to run through her veins. The two pandas that attacked her sniffed her, before leaving her and carrying onto the boy, as if she was a shadow creature, like them.. "What did you.. Uh.." Gwen grew very faint, struggling to stand up. She held her arm tight, as her blurry vision allowed her to view countless pandas preparing to attack the boy. Gwen tried reaching out to the boy, ready to shoot a heat beam, though before she could, she fell to the floor, unconscious.

I have lost the will to change
Once again, Lewis found himself being saved by some unknown outsider. He was in such a state of shock, he could only sit there and watch in awe as the female destroyed the shadow creature on top of him and proceeded to create some sort of shield.
'W-Why is everyone t-t-trying to save me? I don't understand...' He thought to himself briefly before the sounds of someone speaking brought him from the dark recesses of his mind. The girl seemed to ask him if he could hold off the pandas, he simply shook his head no. No sooner had he let out his reply, the makeshift shield had broken and the girl had collapsed. The prince felt the need to get up and go help her, but he couldn't. Not that he didn't have the strength too, but those 'things' had grabbed him once again and were holding him down by the arms.
"N-No! Let me go!" He insisted as he kicked his legs in retaliation. He looked over at the girl one last time before she appeared to faint and a panda stepped in front of him; blocking his view. The newly arrived monster used its bigger foot to step on the ankle of Lewis, pinning it down under its own.
"Ngh--W-What do you want..!?" He asked in a scared tone, noticing that the creatures were only after him and him alone. They had left the other girl completely untouched! (Or, at least it appeared that way from his point of view.)
And I'm not proud, cold-blooded fake

Skye looked down. "Now what could be going on down there?" she wondered aloud. She saw the barrier first, and tried to keep her eyes off of it. It really scared her. She then saw the girl on the outside, laying unconscious. She wished she could float down and help the girl, but she had no way of doing so. Instead, she sent a healing cloud to the girl, it healed her wounds entirely. May you be strong... she thought, laying her head on her crossed arms, which were sitting on the edge of her cloud. She let an arm dangle off the edge and surveyed the rest of the chaos. A fire boy was there, along with an ice boy, she figured they were the cause of the fight. A shadow girl with great power was down there too. There was another boy too, she couldn't identify his power. "My, my, my." Skye said, watching the fight roll past her "I wonder what has caused this whole mess." She sent down a healing cloud to every person on the battle field, she didn't want to pick sides, and let the thoughts float away. She neared the forest.
