The Grass Lands

The Grass Lands are an area of green, grassy fields and the location of Finn and Jake's Tree Fort. The area is also called the "Verdant Plains" on one map of the Land of Ooo. The Grass Lands share borders with the Candy Kingdom, the Ice Kingdom and the Fire Kingdom.

I can't believe this... Are the Laws of Physics even within our jurisdiction?
The teenage Draconian wondered aloud as he roamed the hills of the Grasslands. The Dragons had eyes everywhere, and he was merely one set. They didn't aprove of The Disturbance, which was what they'd immediatly taken to calling this whole plan which involved the merging of Ooo and some plane called Aaa. This was by far the most disruptive act to the Balance that had ever been performed, and the Dragons weren't even going to be informed. Someone was going to pay for this, but not now. T'nix was merely sent out on a scouting sort of mission. With the new arivals, there were apt to be many just as many new criminals out there that needed to be brought to justice, but of course, he had to be ever ready. And in addition to this, he had to track down the members of the Shadow Kingdom? And if I recall correctly, the shadowkind aren't even that dangerous. T'nix reminded himself. As far as he knew, when the Shadow Princess did appear, she was just a harmless prankster. All they'd succeeded in doing with the Disterbance, was cause further disturbance in the Land of Ooo. There were all sorts of shady characters turning up left and right, how was he supposed to keep track of it all. Simple steps first off. His primary objective at this point was to do some reconaissance of the new territories, and perhaps find some new folk roaming around, and he figured the Grasslands were just the place to do that.

As he roamed the area he didn't find all that many people, but there were plenty of creatures just going aobut their lives as though nothing had happen. He couldn't help but wonder if they were even aware. Though... He was still kind of tempted to watch them for at least a few minutes of his time. A few minutes couldn't hurt right? He gave a slight laugh in responce to a snail that waved to him upon being aware of his presence, and he waved back with a light hearted Hey guy. Under normal circumstances he could stop and stay a little bit longer, but something told him, with all the new arivals he'd be quite a bit more busy than he ever had been. It was pretty tough work being a Bounty-Hunter for the Dragon Kingdom.

Evan

As he continued his exploration of Ooo, Evan wondered... "What if someone were to catch me stealing weapons?" If someone would deprive him of his passion, he figured his life would be meaningless. He considered himself a thief and a criminal, but that was alright. He didn't think of himself as evil, though... His train of thought came to a screeching halt as he saw a powerful-looking character passing by. He immediately drew his katana and hid behind a small bush. Then he saw the weapon on the person's back... He needed that! Whatever it was. Someone that well armored must have good taste in weapons...

With a soft thump T'nix deposited his weapon on the ground and fell on his back beside him. The heck with searching, just then he'd decided that at least once a day he was going to stop and spend some time to relax and wind down. Surely he'd go mad with all the tasks he'd inevitably recieve. Heroes... Villains. They've got it easy... He said aloud, to no one in particular. They could do practically anything they wanted, whenever they wanted... Or they could, if it weren't for his kind. Their activity was increasing lately, and as one of few Draconians, he was sent out most often. And soon they'd have him looking after that egg they mentioned in addition to everything else. Such a chore. Everything he did seemed like a chore, but it wasn't like he could complain when he actually got some action in. Odd how no one turned up yet.
Of course, this was just a huge Grassland. If I wanted to find someone, a Kingdom was the best bet, but he was never sure of his relations with other Kingdoms. Would he be accepted or not? Did matter. For now he was still relaxing. Maybe about an hour a day. Yeah that would be sufficient. All it took. He'd start looking again once the hour was through.

Evan

Evan thought to himself "Wow... what a convenient situation! He's totally disarmed now!" ...But wait, what if the person had magical powers? Evan needed to freeze that guy and get the.... log thing before he had time to react. Evan slowly pulled the ice spear he'd stolen from the Ice King from his back... and threw it at the man. Where ever that spear made contact, it would freeze 4 feet in every direction.

T'nix shut his eyes for but a moment when he heard a sort of Whumpf noise, suspiciously close. In one motion he grabbed his retracted spear and rolled up to his feet. However, in that one motion there came a twang noise as the Ice Spear buried it's head into the ground. The splash effect of the ice caught one of his feet, causing him to fall foward, not being able to regain his balance. He hit the ground face first, the impact causing him to drop his weapon, which went rolling down hill. Either this was a mishap, or he was under attack, and he had quite the suspicion that it was the second.
T'nix gave a low, dragonic growl and twisted around to examine his foot. Caught in an Ice Trap, no doubt origionated from the spear that the ice circle was centered around. His eyes narrowed. Ice King. He said accusingly. With a slight gleam of the gems in the back of the palm of his right arm, his claws glowed his flame. The ice around his foot began to melt away as he grasped it in his hand. Soon enough he was back to his feet. Show yourself! He demanded. Or if you want a head start, start running now. He challenged. However long it took, this particular Bounty-Hunter had yet to let a target escape. No matter if the target was assigned, or picked by him.

Evan smiled, thinking to himself "No one is any match for the element of surprise." He darted down the hill, making his best attempt to stay hidden from the stranger. This log would surely be a unique addition to his collection! ...Unfortunately for Evan, that was a pretty steep hill back there. The log had to be rolling faster than Evan could run, and he quickly ran out of breath. Into the forest it rolled, and Evan hated the forest. Too many... PLANTS. Nothing valuable to take from them. Ew. Well, it was for the log... thing. Evan pressed on into the forest, in pursuit of the strange weapon. (I will continue to the forest sub-forum now)

Meg The Human

In The Land of Ooo...

Meg the human crawled out of the hole on the side of the tree that was her home. Brushing off a number of worms, she streched and looked up at the sky. What to do today? Meg took hold of the bark on the tree and began hoisting herself up. "Shmowzow". The view from the highest branch of the bare tree never ceased to amaze her, no matter what it was like outside. She could see almost everything from there. Finn and Jake's treehouse, the Candy Kingdom with the Rock Candy Mountains on the horizon, the Ice Kingdom, the Burning Lands, and all the land between. Seeing the land got Meg excited and energized. She jumped down from the tree and ran excitedly in a random direction. Before long, she realized she was running towards the Ice Kingdom. "Hmm, I am running low on penguins, Time to get More!" she jumped and shouted. She figured she would do this until something more fun came her way.

Apple sat on a boulder, playing techno beats on her magical keytar for a family of dancing bugs. She let the power of the music carry her into a trance-like state. She didn't even notice that the group of dancing bugs had become a whole throng of forest creatures, dancing to her mathematical melodies. At the end of her song, Apple was released from the spell. Opening her eyes, she saw all of the creatures cheering and clapping for her. She blushed. "Thank you all, you're all wonderful dancers!" she said whole-heartedly to the group. This lead to even more cheering on her behalf. Soon her soft pink complexion was a deep red.

Apple scanned the horizon. 'Not another being in sight, besides these bugs . Wonder what everyone is up to?' the young vampyre wondered.

Lewis peered from around a tree at the ecstatic girl running towards the direction of the ice kingdom. Why was she heading towards his home? The queen would not be happy about intruders. 'Ngh, don't go that way.' He thought worriedly as he contemplated whether or not to follow her.

He decided to...

He took a step out from behind his tree as hep prepared to follow the female. Without warning, he tripped on a rock was sent face first into the dirt in front of him. "W-WOAH!" He blurted out right before he hit the ground.

Apple heard a thud and a groan somewhere in the distance. "Oh no, someone must have fallen!" she said. She floated up and turned to leave when all of the dancing creatures began to complain. Apple frowned. "Sorry, guys. We can party another time," she waved goodbye to them. They scattered, going back to doing whatever it is forest animals do. She headed towards the Ice Kingdom, where the sound had come from. She found a pale boy lying in the dust. Apple gently picked him up and set him on his feet. "Hey guy, you OK?" she asked. He looked a little sickly to her, and he was well dressed too. Perhaps a rich boy who has run away from one of the kingdoms, she though.

The Ice Prince

Lewis groaned as he was pulled from the ground and planted on his feet. "Uh..." He stumbled on his words as he stared at his helper. Lewis's face turned red as he stared at the girl. "Uh..." He continued to mumble as he took a step backwards. His foot collided with something hard and metal. His head snapped around and he immediately saw his ice crown on the ground. He quickly snatched it up and held it behind his back nervously.

Apple giggled at the boy's reaction to her. She absent-mindedly began playing some chords with her magical keytar and floating around him. "So, I'm Apple. What about you?" she asked casually as she played.

The Ice Prince

Lewis hid the crown on his person as the girl began circling him. Lewis wasn't supposed to have been caught, his mom was gonna' kill him for this. "Uh...I'm L-Lewis..." He whispered while averting the female's gaze. 'Pink skin? She must be a candy person. But how is she floating...WAIT! This must be that Marshal Lee person! Don't look much like a vampire though.'

Apple stopped circling and tilted her head at Lewis. "Nice to meet you, Lewis, and I have excellent hearing." she smiled meekly. "I'm a vampyre, with a 'y'. It does make a bit of a difference. We are quite different from vampires like Marshall Lee. Much more..." she tapped her chin in thought, "colorful."

Apple saw some movement behind Lewis's shoulder. There was a girl headed straight for the Ice Kingdom. "Oh no! She could be in a lot of trouble if the Ice King catches her," Especially being female and all, she added silently in her head. Then she suddenly understood. Apple blushed and giggled. "Ah, you wanted to rescue the young maiden, didn't you Lewis?"
