Oh my goodness, sounds awesome! Thanks for all the input! whee
Bleeding Art Seconding Den Of Angels. It's an awesome forum and once you have access to the marketplace you could even see about a secondhand one as they can often go for cheaper. I love browsing the galleries, I envy those that can make such gorgeous photos. I only have 1 BJD, a Fairyland Puki Pukisha (the Hawari Hafa set, I believe) who's only 4" tall. I had another Puki, a "Chocolate" one but I sold her due to lack of bonding after about 6 months. I also had an Iplehouse MSD (Iplehouse has GORGEOUS dolls) who was a Tania Pierrot. Loved her to death but I was never comfortable with taking her outside for photos or meets or anything so she just sat next to my computer desk until I rehomed her early last year. But my remaining will always be here, I love her too much. In fact I just got her a lovely wa-lolita dress off of Etsy. It's a good site for BJD clothes and accessories too. BJDs are really awesome, there's so many possibilities with them and they're just such gorgeous works of art. A tip though, be cautious about "white" skinned dolls and tanned ones. The white ones can yellow if you expose them to sunlight too much and the tanned ones can sometimes turn colors and the resin seems to have a bigger tendency to have bubbles.
