Ducking her head Ais moved to the table the strange boy stood near, ignoring the chair to place the rabbit on the table's surface gently. Petting her sister's head she asked in a cute, about-to-cry voice.. keeping her wide gaze down and to the side. " Phiri would hate it if we were a bother, but.." Sniffling she trailed off, clasping her hands over her mouth as her eyes watered.
The rabbit's ear twitched at the sniffle, her eyes opening blurrily. The room smelled alien, and her sister was distressed.. Shifting into her human form she sat up, pressing a hand to her wet forehead as she winced. " Ais, what happened--- omph" " You're alive! Phiri was dunked by those rotten kids and I had to save you, I was scared! He said he would give us tea, they do not look like slave traders so don't be mad Phiri~" Tackling her sister the pair sat on the table, Ais cuddling against her sister's bosom as she continued to fuss and whine in her angelic tone.
Growing a bit green at the memory of being 'dunked' as her sister called it, Phiri wrapped her arm around Ais and closed her eyes as she forced a smile.. catching the table's edge in a death grip with her other hand as it rocked unsteadily under her sisters wiggling. " Tea? Wha-- Slave traders?! Ais hold still, the table--" The girls squeaked as it tipped over, breaking the pair up and sending both tumbling.
