"Hmm?" Sluc looked over at MEaSU as she said 'before your time'. Then the hologram appeared at the counter. "Ohhh, that's what you meant." She murmured, hitting herself in the forehead with the palm of her hand. She had heard of these. Sometimes large sales operations like department stores or sports stadiums used them. Sluc hadn't thought this place would since it was so small and MEaSU was certainly right that the owner was most likely dead or away. She sighed as MEaSU said it might take ten minutes. "Ten minutes?...what are we going to do for ten minutes?" Sluc sighed. Even teenage interns with ipods were more efficient.

"We can juggle all this other stuff and see if the hologram notices." Gar-ne giggled as she was making her own pile of parts and began to build some sort of contraption with it. It looked like a combination of a mousetrap with a catapult.

MEaSU looked at Sluc with a smirk again, picking up on her impatience.
"Well, I could always add or take an item off and reset the wait time."
She said as the wait time actually went up to twenty-five minutes.
"Wait...that wasn't me. Must be a really old model."
The wait time then suddenly dropped to five seconds. With one second left, the numbers vanished and the words 'A sales associate will talk to you shortly' appeared. MEaSU, obviously upset that she wasn't the one doing this, got a tad annoyed.
"Oh, come on you projected mass of zeros and ones!"
She yelled with a loud bang on the counter. The timer came back, only four minutes and fifteen seconds remaining. However, a panel flipped up from under Gar-ne's contraption and out appeared a sort of turrent aimed at MEaSU, reacting to her hostile outburst as a possible threat.
"Yeah, the owner of this place must have died. No way anyone could let something like this be so malfunctioned...unless they were complete idiots. Or were retired late-night talk show hosts."
She said as she faced the gun. Only a small thing, perhaps a 12mm. She actually had a contemplating look on her face as she literal stared down the barrel.
"I am very tempted to break into you, but me doing something like that to something as old as you would be like filling a hoverped with rocket fuel."

Sluc's jaw dropped as the hologram cashier acted like a sporadic download meter...from the dark ages! She groaned as she massaged her temple as she watched it go up, down, quit, and then back to a timer again. "MEaSU, I think this shop is busted." And just as she said that, a turrent came out and aimed at MEaSU. "Yeah, I think this place is definitely busted." She murmured. She doubted the gun would do much to the android, it looked more suited for petty theives. While the gun was still pointed at MEaSU, Sluc dived behind the counter and took out a small pocket screwdriver and began disassembling some panels, looking to just short circuit the shop's systems.

Gar-ne meanwhile yelped as she just started to back away from the gun in case it either fire or MEaSU fired at it. she had yet to find out MEaSU was a noncombat android.

The cashier finished processing the transaction and MEaSU's purchase was approved. The hologram showed the words 'Thank You. Have a nice day.' Then altered shape into a security officer. It didn't say anything, as it was suppose to change shape when the security system activated. But being in the middle of the transaction, it didn't do so. When Sluc removed a panel, another panel opened in the cieling and pointed at her, two clinks as it loaded and was ready to fire. Another panel on the ground opened to reveal a mounted shotgun, aimed right at Gar-ne.
"Ya know, I think I saw this in a movie somewhere."
She said as she pointed a finger at the gun pointed at her. The tip flew off like a spring-loaded object and extended an antenna and tiny metal claws. It latched to the turrent and the antenna was transmitting to MEaSU.
"Okay, sit tight, and try not to move...."
She said as she hacked into the turrent. It wasn't a wireless device, so she had to use that finger tool. It wasn't all that hard though; the security software is extremely out of date. Then, having control of the turrent, she now tried to break into the entire store. The turrent she had control of began aiming around randomly, making the other two turrents look back and forth between it, the two girls, and MEaSU.

Saul heard the ruckus from the girl, and ignored her until they had safely entered lightspeed.

Finally, he turned around in the command chair to address her.

"Sorry about that. I had to lose that fool before he came too close. Something is off about him, and the requests for information on him in the Imperial Military files all point to locked files on a dead man. He's an impostor, at the least, or he's hacked the files to make it appear that he's dead."

They didn't get very far, less then an hour later, the ship rocked as it was pulled prematurely from lightspeed. Saul cursed and looked out the armored view port.

There, several kilometers away, was a massive space hulk. Pretty much all the Imperial Military knew of it...the Gargantua, it was called.

And it was pulling them in with a tractor beam...He scanned the area, and saw a second ship, most likely the idiot that had thought he could get ahead of them, being pulled in as well.

He turned to the girl.

"You had best arm yourself, and get in that armor. No telling how much of that hulk is still habitable," he said, getting to his feet to get his helmet and his weaponry.

Whatever happened aboard the hulk...he knew they still had to deal with this other threat...and it would be right there with them...

Duncan

Duncan had gone to the cargo hold for some meditation time, sitting on the floor with his sheathed sword laying across his lap. He stayed there in meditation for a time until he felt a violent shuder, followed by a brutal emergency departure from lightspeed. He rolled and tumbled about, catching himself as he got up and ran to the cockpit and looked out the front viewing port. To his dismay and recollection of memory, he sighed heavily. this just got a lot more complicated.

Looking out, he saw the massive hulk of metal from deifferent generations of technology. The space hulk, Gargantua. "I'm gonna need that environmental suit now." He said to himself, heading for the cargo bay as the tractor beam pulled him in with the others he had noticed not too far from his current location.

Sluc looked up as she saw the transaction finished, but then more guns came out, one at Sluc, the other at Gar-ne. Sluc let out a small growl as she froze. Gar-ne also did, hands in the air, though she also laughed a bit at MEaSU's statement. "Right, umm...what happened in the movie?" She asked nervously, laughing meekly.

Sluc looked up as MEaSU shot something into the turrent, probably her hacking device. It seemed to be just that as the turrent now moved a bit more sporadically, confusing the other two guns. Sluc then began sliding her PDA slowly out of her pocket to the control panel, thinking to maybe hook it up incase MEaSU really needed a wifi port.

MEaSU smiled as the gained some more control, namely the entire security systems. Unknown to everyone else, the turrents have no ammunition due to an attempted robbery about three months ago. MEaSU was about to sigh in relief, but Gar-ne's nervousness was the set up the perfect scare. She kept the turrents on their normal, sporadic movements.
"Hmm...if I remember right, the hacker messed up. Then a robot revolution occured. If I remember right, they first killed the funny character."
She made a shocked face.
"Oh no...."
All three turrents pointed at Gar-ne, obviously labeling her the 'funny character.' MEaSU began freaking out.
"Okay...sit tight...lemme just....grrrrzzzzzt."
She feigned a 'blue screen of death' moment like something happened, and a few more turrents appeared pointed at Gar-ne. Laser sights all pointing at her. All was still for a few seconds, until the empty turrents began to click a tune similar to Tchaikovsky's Overture. The once 'broken' MEaSU was waving her arms around like a conductor as the clicking continued on, laughing as she did so.
"Of course, I like to edit movies a lot of times."
She said as a the flower symbol from before appeared on Sluc's PDA screen and the hologram changed shape from an old man to a more human-looking MEaSU. She was in full control the whole time; she just likes to mess around with people it seems.
