Sliding into the car, she sat on Koreena's right side, behind the passenger seat. She wondered which one of the guys where driving and hopeful that the driver knew the speed limit of the town which was in most parts slow. "Hey Samael, any idea what were going to do if we run into another pack in town?" Elvira asked, raising an eyebrow. Staying silent after the question she looked out to the tree line. Elvira wondered if our pack would run into any of the other two packs. It was a small town and running into each other wouldn't be all to surprising.

Still wondering, she thought about the fight between the three packs. What kind of animals could the Xammer pack members transform into. Would Elvira and her pack get into a battle with he other packs ever again like years ago and would anyone else be joining our pack anytime soon? So many question that will most likely answered by anyone. Looking away from the tree line she looked to see if everyone was in the car yet.

Oh, how he hated cars. They smelled terrible, they were loud, but they were indeed handy. Rather than paying for a cab that would most likely refuse to come out this far into the woods, Samael knew their best chances would be with the car. His jaw tensed a bit at the mention of the vehicle, but his hand shot out to the side, keys being caught within his palm as he made his way toward the door. It seemed the easiest way was the vehicle, so why complain? They would get there and not have to worry about carrying tons of bags or whatever back. Just throw them in the trunk and that's that, right? And no matter how much he disagreed with using that damned noisy thing, and how much he absolutely hated the motorcycle, he couldn't argue that they weren't handy.

Moving out the door, the lion shifter went around the back of the house and toward the car. It was quite nice, really. A bit spacious, no doubt being able to carry most of them. Blue eyes studied the vehicle as he approached it, his fingers pressing the button to unlock its doors and then open the drivers side with the handle. It only took seconds from there before he seated himself behind the wheel. There was no need for a seatbelt - well, there was, but he honestly didn't want to wear one. They would be speeding here and there, but he knew better than to go too fast through their territory considering there were tons of trees. Didn't want to wreck the car, yeah? Someone would be pissed, and then there would go the ride and the transportation for the bags and bodies. Putting the key in the ignition, it only took seconds before the engine roared to life, the gas being pressed a few times to roar it yet again before he allowed the car to settle while he waited for the others.

It wasn't a long wait, considering most of them followed behind pretty quickly. Eventually, all who were attending the 'outing' were in the car or where ever else they were riding, and Samael pulled the gears to drive. Silence was there, which only made the leader relax. Yet, at the sound of a female voice - which happened to be Elvira - Samael's jaw tensed. Damn it, just when he thought he could get away from the irritating noises, he was proved wrong. Her question, though, made him roll his eyes. Was she really asking that? How long had she been in the pack, and she was really asking it? "The same thing that happens every time." Which would be ignoring them. The town was a sanctuary, one could say. The packs did not fight in there for the most part, considering all of the humans there. Yet, of course, there were the occasional outbursts, but they never lasted long. Peace was kept within those boundaries for the most part, and that was a good thing.

Stacy stood at the doorway of the empty house. She had been at the back of the house when she saw Ethan pulling up on his motorcycle. She hadn't wanted to get in the way of the adults, so she was standing by her usual ring of dirt, crouching over it. Stacy loved the bugs and everything insect related. Earlier that day, she was digging around to find more rollie-pollies, one of her favorites. The small pill bugs always amused her when she poked them and they curled up into a ball. What she didn't like were centipedes. The whole bunch of legs just creeped her out the way they walked and how all of the legs were out of their body. It always sent chills down her spine. Back on topic though, Stacy looked around the doorway. Stepping inside, her head reared up to look at the top of the stairs to see if anyone was up there. She knew that some of the pack had left because another one of the cars were gone. But Stacy didn't know that they had all left. taking a tentative step inside, she called out. "Hello?" She almost squeaked the word out. Rushing upstairs, she knew she was alone. Into her room she fled, shutting the door behind her. Leaning up against that same white door, a tear trickled down Stacy's cheek.

Crawling over to her bed, Stacy found her small stuffed snow leopard. She had named it Mr. Biggles and he was brought almost everywhere she went. Crying in his fake fur, she mumbled softly. "They left us Biggles! Here all alone" She whined as the statement as more tears streamed down her face. Coughing a little, she climbed up onto her pink princess bed and under the covers. Giving her toy a big hug, Stacy laid down. She looked around the room, then her eyes rested at the door. Growing more and more upset, she let her emotions win her over. Not too long after, the small child was screaming. Her hands were beginning to meld into paws. Her ears growing longer, fur sprouting from all her pores. Stacy was terrified of the change. It hurt her still, and she was never able to control it. Smaller and on the bed still, she looked at her stuffed snow leopard and growled at it before swatting it across the room. It landed with a 'thudd' on the ground. Turning back to the door, she'd if she could escape the room. Jumping up, the small cub swatted at the door handle with no affect. When she saw her efforts were fruitless, the cub whined, curling herself in a ball near the door.

Slowing to fast jog, Elvira made her way through the forest. The trees and territory became familiar. Going through these woods felt more comfortable and familiar than anything else. Elvira had spent so many hours in this forest that she knew practical everything in there territory. She was going the fastest route to the house where Stacy would be. Getting the thought of her alone Elvira picked up speed again. Stacy could change into her animal form and usually she gets scared, she wasn't used to the pain or controlling her shifting yet.

Getting into the sight of the house she slowed down. Wondering were she was she first checked around the house. Being in her animal form she easily searched the area quickly to find Stacy not outside. Going to the front door shh clawed at the door knob. After a few minutes of scraping at the door knob Elvira got the door open with her claws. Going through the house quickly to find nothing she started to the stairs. Taking two at a time she went to Stacy's room. Clawing at her door just like the one before she finally got it open. Pushing the door open she found Stacy curled up in a ball feet from the door. Walking up to Stacy Elvira bent her head down to push her body a little to see if she fell asleep in her animal form.

When you're strange...
Faces come out of the rain.
When you're strange...
No one remembers your name.
When you're strange...

It hadn’t been a very eventful morning for the small Gierco member. She had missed the excitement about going in to town but sleeping on a branch near the house. Being smaller than the rest had some advantages. She could laze about outside at times without making much of a fuss. When ever she could she would sleep outside on her favorite limb. There she could watch the pack silently and with out being noticed much. That suited her quite well. It wasn’t that she didn’t like those that were around her. No she would do anything they asked. Just sometimes she couldn’t help but feel a little frightened of them all. They all were quite a bit bigger than her save for the little snow lepord. It was nice sometimes nice to stay where she could see them, even if they couldn’t see her. Sure there was those in the pack that knew her favorite spots, but it seemed like they had forgotten or just hadn’t thought about finding her to go along with. So when the decision was made that most of them going to go to town, Lili hadn’t heard a thing. It was only when the car had started did she wake.

Moe really hadn’t wanted to wake up at all. Giving a long yawn, her tail gave a small swipe against as if trying to pet her back to sleep. She laid there for a while listening and waiting. Perhaps she fell asleep again but it didn’t last. Before too long her brain nagged her awake once more. Come on Lili, you can’t sleep the whole day away. Besides shouldn’t you get some work done while the house is mostly empty? The ocelot gave a small huff and stretched her front paws against the tree branch as she started to get her hind legs under her for balance. Give a small sneeze she licked her paws a little before rubbing them against her face. She couldn’t help those feline qualities. But she was good enough to keep cleaning herself a private matter. Looking down the ground every once in a while she wondered if she could just run into the house in her cat form with out drawing much attention. Then again who would really say much. Sure she was bigger than a house cat but she wasn’t nearly big enough for anyone driving by to really take much notice of her. Sighing a little Lili decided it wasn’t really worth the risk.

Going toward the trunk of the tree she started to change into her five foot one self. Still not much to grab anyone’s notice. But then she realized something. She had brought no extra clothes outside with her the night before. Panicking a little she searched for where her pajamas had ended up after she had first started to climb the tree. Spotting the light blue fabric at the very base, she almost cursed. Way to go Lili! she grouched at her own stupidity. Sitting there naked in the tree she wondered what to do. Finally she decided that no one would even see an ocelot she change back into her feline form With an easy jump she was in the grass. Lowering herself she slinked up to the back door and for a little bit just pawed at it till she could get her claws into the door to pull it open. Good thing it wasn’t locked, she sighed to herself as she started to go up the stairs. Listening for a moment she waited till she was sure no one was in the hall before she continued on to her room.

There she quickly change, and started to grab up some clothes. She would have to be more careful next time. Picking out a oversized shirt that she had rescued from trash after some male member of the pack had ruined it somehow and a pair of jeans a long with some underwear she got dressed rather quickly. She was going to develop some film while the house was quiet. In the closet she grabbed up a large blue mat and her supplies for developing film. Had she known the little girl was there she would have gone to check on her first, but Lili just figured the snow leopard cub was with the rest of the group. So, she just went about her business of pouring the liquids carefully into each of the container. Then hanging up the clothes line across the room, she hummed a little to herself. It was easy enough work. Moving to a lamp she switched on the light which gave the room a soft red glow before she tacked up the black cloth she had gotten to blot out any light that could shine through. Turning off the other light, she looked the door. Hopefully no one would be upset with her for doing such but she really doubt anyone would come and disturb her for a while. And with that she set off to work.

Lili had worked as quickly as possible. A moment in the house when all was quiet was rare. There was no way that Moe was going to waste that. She kept an ear open to the chance that the others would come home more quickly then she had surmised. A roll of film was hanging up to dry before she heard the movements of someone else coming inside. Freezing for a moment she waited and listened. Moving carefully and quite nimbly towards the door, she pressed her ear against it. There were no loud foot falls, so it probably wasn’t Samael. That came as a relief to the short female. The large male sometimes frightened her something awful. He was a good leader. She could admit that much. But there was something about the much larger male that made Lili want to hide when ever he came around. Swiftly she opened her door just a crack, enough to slip her slim body out, and closed it again. Down the hall she caught the sight of the black tail. Elvira’ she thought as she padded barefoot through the halls. The panther shifter hadn’t gone into her room but the room of the pack’s smallest member. Way to go Lili! Stacy was here after all! Moving closer she waited, really what could she say. If the small girl decided to tell Samael about thinking she was alone, Moe was sure to be in for it.

Maybe you could just say that you knew she was here, Moe thought to herself letting herself be seen by the other two. That would be a lie, Lili bit the inside of her lip thinking about how it would probably be worse to lie if she was to get in trouble. Don’t make an excuse just say that if the girl really had needed anything, you would have been there for her, she nodded her head once. But still didn’t speak to either of the other females. Right now, her presence was just needed to be seen. And while she liked taking pictures of the little girl at play and if the little one wanted could even take pictures herself, Moe didn’t know if the girl knew she was around or not. So staying quiet until something was said or done. That seemed safest.

It wasn't usual for Samael to daydream, but right now it seemed as though he went into driving mode while his mind went elsewhere. The lion shifter was silent, blocking out any and all noise while he drove and just paying attention to what was going on in his head...

"I said don't ******** touch me!" The loud voice bellowed in the room, a low growl coming from his throat as blue eyes glared to the female before him. What had happened to him? Only minutes ago, he was holding her while they laid on the bed... and now, it was almost as if something had snapped. But this really wasn't unusual, to be honest. He could be calm and mild one minute, then be chewing your head off and screaming the next. The old Samael had quite the temper, really... "Just... back off." The warning was sent out again as the lion shifter paced the room before the girl, trying to keep the distance from her but not too much. Perhaps she didn't realize how much he wanted her... cared for her. How much he down right needed her. Sure, they'd only fooled around and had never really called it a 'relationship' even though it basically was... but that was due to his own problems. His attempt to avoid commitment, his fear of being close to anybody that could hurt him. He'd learned the hard way, and he didn't want to allow it to happen again.

"Shut up." Samael replied to something the girl said before he turned to glare at her. "I don't know what it is with you and this... relationship s**t. I don't want a part of it, so get that into your ******** head." Oh, how much of a lie that was. The man wanted so much more than just a simple play time here and there. In fact, he did love to cuddle, and he did love to be possessive over the ones he cared for, and he wanted to have someone... but his fears told him no. His fear of such a thing scared him enough to drive him and this girl away. To make him push her further and further away each time... until there was nothing left but anger and hatred.

The car was brought to a stop as Samael came out of robotic driving mode, blinking blue eyes momentarily before he realized they were finally home. A quick glance around was made before the car was put into park, and the engine was shut off with a soft clicking sound. With a deep breath, the lion shifter opened the drivers side door and got out, one hand going up to rub at his throat some. Damn, this day was just messed up all together...

Hearing a car door open Elvira walked over to the window. Still in panther form she recognized the leader. Knowing Stacy would be safe Elvira went to the other window. That window showed the backyard and went at a slant easy for a cat to climb. Elvira really just wanted to be alone and away from the pack. Leaving town was a good decision because she had a feeling something went down after she left. Looking back at Stacy once more, her still rolled up into a ball in her animal form Elvira jumped out the window from her room.

Sliding down part of the roof, Elvira jumped from the edge. Landing on her paws she turned her head towards the car. Turning her head back to the trees she took off running leaving the house behind. She was racing towards the unclaimed territory. Most of the pack never went there as far as she knew. Elvira really didn't want to know what was going on after she left. She now was just going to go into animal thinking for now. Slowing to a walk she started to smell prey. Know the smell as deer she took off into the direction, tracking the deer.

Emilee Elizabeth Ryder
The Black Leopard

╚══════════════════╝

User ImagexxxxE m i l e e was quietly sleeping on the ride home from the town, everyone from her territory was heading back, the female quickly fell into a dreamy state;

xxxxEmilee screamed at the first shot, the step-father sat up on his knees in the air on her bed, letting her shorts that he just took off her fall to the floor. She had shot him in the left shoulder, he made a swing to hit Emilee, she pulled the trigger once more, shooting him in the gut. James moaned in agonizing pain "You little b***h!" he said swatting the gun from her hands, it flew and hit the wall and made a thud on the floor. His clothes were beginning so soak with blood. He lunged down on her, punching her in the sides. Emilee didn't know what to do she screamed and thrashed her legs underneath him. She then tried pushing him off, she punched him in the left shoulder. The man yelped in excruciating pain then fell to the floor. The next thing she knew there was another gun shot and her arm was stinging, gasping she jumped off the bed when the fourth shot rang in her ears, screaming once more she sat against her bed holding her arm. Lifting her hand from her wound she winced seeing the light crimson tint painted over her hand. It was only a deep flesh wound, nothing serious needed other than stitches.

xxxxAll was silent, the blonde began to wonder why it was so quiet. Getting onto her hands and knees she lowered her head to look under the bed to see what he was doing, he was gone. The young blonde's eye widened with terror and she looked up hearing the click of the gun, which meant it was ready to be shot. A scream filled the room and she covered her head with her hands beginning to plead for her life through her tears. She looked at her step father, mascara running down her cheeks along with tears "Daddy, No! Please!" she pleaded. The expression on his face was unemotional, he had his finger on the trigger. She closed her eyes ready to be shot in the head. He pulled the trigger but it jammed. Emilee's body lurched as she expected pain after hearing the sound. Gasping she sat up straight pushing him in the gut, he roared in agony and dropped the gun. Getting up she ran as fast as she could out of the room with out thinking to grab the gun. He stumbled behind her, running into walls and tripping over his feet.

xxxxShe ran into the kitchen, he was right there, Emilee grabbed a knife and pointed it at him, James suddenly had the strength to grab her hand and pull it behind her and grab the knife himself. The young woman thrashed making the knife cut her cheek, for he was holding her in a choke hold and the knife to her face. Again she screamed and stamped her foot down on his which made him let go. It was amazing the strength the man had after getting shot twice... but that was something she wasn't to worried about now. Blood ran down her cheek, she wiped it on her arm as she ran towards the back door. It had a cupboard beside it which held shot guns of her step-fathers. Grabbing the closest one she felt her adrenalin begin to pump, she could hear her heart strongly beating. He came in the room, ready to kill her with the petty knife. Emilee did not hesitate, she pulled the trigger of the shotgun, it had more kick than she remembered and it slammed into her shoulder dislocating it. The monster fell to the ground onto his stomach instantaneously. Gasping, Emilee frantically tried to move away as the floor before her turned from a milky white to a crimson red in seconds, she couldn't go any further after bumping onto the wall.

xxxxEmilee began to cry more than before, she held the shot gun as she slowly lowered herself to the ground she sat there staring at her step-father who's blood was everywhere, on her body, staining her hair, the floor, the walls, everywhere. She could not stop sobbing, she was still holding the shot gun in her hands, it nesseled between her legs, in which were bent. Emilee leaned her elbows on her knees and hands held her head as she stared at her father, it felt like hours then suddenly grinned. This was an awakening, something she'd never felt before. Emilee's new beginning as a murderer, she loved this feeling the adrenaline was like a drug....

xxxxT h e car came to a screeching stop which sent Emilee soaring frontwards quickly, thank god she was wearing her seat belt! The force of the erch awoken Emilee from her dream, not that it mattered because she was about to wake up screaming herself if the next part of the dream followed through. Sighing heavily she wiped her forehead that wasn't sweaty, placing her head in her hands and her elbows on her knees she began to cry. The female was so sick of dreaming that ever time she closed her eyes. It was the past! Why couldn't her mind keep it that way? Emilee was not a killer, it was self defense... it's all over now, she is a different person now!

xxxxE m i l e e Elizabeth kept talking herself into a calm state, she then wiped her tears away and noticed the car was embarking on territory land. Quietly she watched as now familiar scenery passed by slowly, the car then stopped at a communal house for the pack. Thanking her driver she stepped out of the car, walked up the walk way and stepped into the house. Heading straight for the closest bathroom she slipped inside then fixed her make up, which she took everywhere within her purse. Upon fixing her tear stricken face, and her ran mascara she emerged from the bathroom and walked into the living room. Was anyone even home? She wasn't about to draw to much attention to herself and call out thought. Sighing she sat down on the far side of a three seater couch and decided to relax a bit.

Ethan saw in the car that pulled up to them the all familiar faces of the Joslyn pack filled his memory banks. It put a smile on Ethan's face to see Annie. The two of them had what you could call, a fling a while back when she first came into the town. Of course, before she knew about all of the diferent packs and why each of them hated each other. Looking over to them, he actually waved. Ethan was on good terms with almost everyone dispite the fact that all of the packs hated one another. That was probably part of his gift of already owning and knowing half the town. It was no secret that the rest of the Grieco memebers were of high establishment - but not all of them could honestly tolerate the other shifters. Leaning back in his chair more comfortably, Ethan looked back to Kori once she got back into the car. "Don't worry about the mutts. What are they going to do? Bark at us?" Smirking at his own joke, the cougar relaxed himself for another cramped, probably silent ride home.

He was almost dead on to that assumption. The entire time, it looked like Sam was back in his own memory while everyone else in the car just stayed quiet. They were minus one this time as it seemed their lady panther friend decided to take the scenic route home. So instead of blanking staring out the window the entire way home, Ethan rested his head back and closed his eyes. Of course, it was cliche that the first memory to pop into this head was about his second father. Everything seemed to always revolve around the b*****d of a man. Everything Ethan was today was because of him. No. He couldn't go back there, not today. Forcing his eyes open, a hand shot to his head as he felt a rush coming on. The pain of a headach began to pulse in his frontal lobe and he did what he could to put pressure on it just to relieve the pain. He didn't understand at first where it was coming fromt until he remembered the alcohol in the trunk of the car. It had been too long already since Ethan had his last swig of booze. That would be on the top of his priority list once they got home.

When the car stopped, still no words were exchanged. The shifter knew he had to do his part with helping to unload the car, and so he opened the door and went directly to the popped trunk. There, he grabbed everything he could carry for now - which was mostly all of the alcohol and a few bags that the girls had picked up as well. He left enough for the others to grab enough things for them to feel like they were helping out at least a little. Still not saying very much, he walked in with the bags before setting them on the kitchen counter. At this point in time, he was now ignoring everyone else who would be in the house. He didn't think about the fact that others would even be home at all. Then again, it was none of his business. He had the second home for a reason. One that he may never actually tell another - or at least admit to them. Unpacking what he could, when he was all done with the perishables, it was straight to the alcohol for him. Opening the case of beer, he took out a bottle to open it swiftly and take a swig for himself. Just the knowledge of knowing the tainted liquid was in his system was enough for the headach to die down at least a little for him to concentrate on what was going on around him.

Ethan hadn't seen her before when he brought in the food, but it seemed like Emilee was up and awake in the living room across from where he now stood. Taking another bottle from the case, he began to smoothly walk over to where she was. Upon seeing her, he could tell something was up. Most people said it was because he was obsessed with females on how he always knew that something was wrong. In acuality though, he thought all of that was silly. Especially when girls tried to cover up the fact that they were crying with more make-up. He could still see the slightly reddish cheeks where she had probably wiped away eye-liner that dripped because of her tears. As well, her nose was still slightly tinted red. Not only that, but around her eyes were slightly puffy while within, they seemed cracked red and dried. He only knew the signs so well of one crying because he had been there himself quite a many times before. All of that was in the past now though, and he had a friend to cheer up. Heading over to the couch she was on, he passed her a bottle before making himself comfortable as well. "Something the matter, love?" He asked in the sweetest tone he could possibly muster while right before, batting his eyes playfully.

Getting out of the car, Samael kicked the door shut behind him, blue eyes glancing back at Ethan as the cougar also got out, then went inside. A slight sigh was made, one hand going up to rub his face some. Perhaps he should go and get some of the bags... Yeah, that would be a good idea. Maybe the little bit of traveling back and forth would calm him down some and get him out of this damn pissy mood. The remembrance of his past had done him in, and now he just wanted to... well, be away from everyone. The thought of Cali had been painful, and he couldn't deny the fact to himself that he missed her like hell. She was, in fact, the only person who was able to calm him. Who was able to keep him around... nobody else had been able to do that. If he were in any type of relationship like that with a female, he was usually gone quickly. But not with Cali; no. Samael stuck around, even while he denied that it was a relationship when it really was. He took Calista for granted, and before he was able to admit to himself that she really did mean something... she was gone. He had scared her off; told her that their 'relationship' was not really one, and that it meant nothing. And even now, her last words rang in his head. "You will be alone forever if you keep acting this way." It stung, but Samael had told her he didn't want anybody. "I hope I never see you again." It was that wish that had scarred him the most. He had felt a pain in his heart; one that he had never felt before. And with that simple sentence, Calista was gone and was never coming back. Samael's entire world had been lost the moment Cali left. She had not come back at all; not even to get some of her things from him. Hell, even now he still held onto a few of those things - one being a necklace she'd left over his place on accident. The little piece of jewelry was tucked away some place that he didn't normally look for things, just so he wouldn't pick it up randomly. But there were the occasional times when he'd found it, and just.. stayed in his room for hours, holding it and resisting the urge to cry. The man had only cried twice in his life, and he was not looking forward to a third time.

Bringing himself back to reality once more, Samael shook his head lightly before moving to the trunk of the car and popping it open. He grabbed a handful of bags, hooking a few around his forearms before he turned and went to head to the house. Getting to the door, he pushed it open, forcing it back against the wall that would stop it from going any further. BANG! Well, if the ones who remained at home did not know they were back yet... they did now. Heh. Stepping inside, he went into the kitchen, setting the bags on the counter before returning to the car to do the same thing again. There were three trips made back and forth; and once he finally had all the bags in, he began to unload them. Fridge, cabinet, shelf, fridge, shelf, cabinet, shelf, fridge. Each item was put in the correct spot; and by the time he finished, their cabinets and fridge were stocked completely with food and drinks. Finally! Now, whenever the tiger offered to cook him food and he declined just to spite her, he really could go into the kitchen and cook himself something! Heh. He is such a mean man.

Once everything was finished, Samael began to make his way into the living room; plopping down into one of the chairs and putting his feet on the table. A deep sigh was made as he began to relax, but bright blue eyes turned to look at the one who was nearby, Emilee. One eyebrow cocked up some as he studied the blonde, taking in her features and allowing a small smirk to cross his lips. The thought of Cali was gone now, as his attention went to the female before him. She was a pretty one, indeed; and the urge to speak to her had come to him... but it seemed Ethan had gotten there first; before Samael had even sat down. So without a word, the lion shifter just observed them, listening to their conversation. Not to be nosy, of course... but because he was bored.

When you're strange...
Faces come out of the rain.
When you're strange...
No one remembers your name.
When you're strange...

Lili had stayed in the hallway in front of the door way of the little girl's room. The ocelot watched silently as Elvira had started to leave. The short female was sure that Elvira noticed her, but then again the panther had made not acknowledgement of that point. Why else would she be leaving? the girl asked herself rubbing her shoulder against her chin and cheek. Moe hadn't heard the faint noise of the car door opening, so it had confused her as to why the panther was leaving. Looking down to Stacy with a small tilt of her head, she wondered if the little shifter needed to be comforted or woken up. Moe always tried her best to be such things, but sometimes it was hard. With a house full of people sometimes connections weren't made. Popping her fingers as she fretted about going into the little girl's room, Moe was in no way prepared for the loud bang that echoed through the house.

Lili just about jumped out of her skin at the loud noise. Her heart race increased ten fold. The shifters body had jumped into a position where she was facing where the noise had came from. It didn't take even smelling the air that Samael was home. Feeling a little embarrassed at this display of fright, the ocelot shifter looked about the hall. Taking in a deep breath, she wondered how the trip to town had went. She couldn't really tell by the bang, because well, it wasn't the first time Samael had made such an entrance to the home of the Gerico pack. Looking back to the curled up snow leopard, Moe moved away from the room. There were probably things to put away. It wasn't like the pack or the leader to leave things about. Moe was probably one of the messier ones, but that was more due to her art supplies while she painted or drew. Plus it was nice to be around people. While Moe sometimes was more of a silent one, she did speak and often to those in her pack. Though she usually didn't start a conversation unless she had to.

Going to the kitchen, she found Samael already putting away food from the trip to town. Moe hesitated in the door way, as she watched her leader move around the kitchen. She couldn't judge his mood, but she knew he hated when people got in the way. Yet, Moe knew she couldn't just not help. Quickly entering the kitchen, Moe stuck her hand in one of the bags and pulled out an item or two. With out being asked or told she started to put things away. She made sure not to get in Samael's way. He could be kind of scary when people didn't watch themselves around him. So, Moe just worked with him. They didn't talk, which suited her fine. There seemed to be a bit of an aura of agitation around him, well a little bit more than usual. So Moe just went on putting things away until all the bags were empty. Putting the bags in with the other extra bags incase they were needed, she too sort of followed her leader into the living space.

If Ethan and Emilee noticed her entrance, she would give them a smile and nod. She hoped that something was going on, but she kept her mouth shut and just watched. She was half tempted to go into the kitchen and make herself something to eat. It felt a little strange to her just to be standing there watching, but she wanted to be included in something today. Having had her solitude that morning, she was ready for a little social time with her pack. Still she didn't want to seem too shy and silent, as she feared she came off as. But there was a rumble in her stomach that caused her to place a hand on her tummy. Shaking her head softly she looked back to the kitchen. Moe didn't doubt that soon she would go back in the kitchen, because the girl couldn't it when she felt hungry.

Racing after the deer, she forgot about everything except for catching the deer. Picking up speed the deer started to slow. Seconds ticked by as the deer began to stumble. Closing in Elvira pounced on the deer. Eating slowly she enjoyed her dinner. Finishing her meal she made her way to the closest water source. Reaching a small stream Elvira drank and washed most of the blood away.

Starting back towards the house Elvira ran. She was on the outskirts of there territory and had a long way to go back to the house. After running for awhile she came into more familiar ground. Catching sight of the house she slowed to a walk. Walking to the edge of the tree line she laid down. She didn't want to go in and talk to them or listen to them talk. Seeing a rabbit break out of the tree line Elvira growled, but she didn't want to chase the rabbit. It took off around the house out of sight. Closing her eyes she rested her head on her paws and drifted towards sleep.

The Black Leopard

User ImagexxxxS i t t i n g on the couch, Emilee was trying to attempt to get over what she had endured within her dream on the way to the main house. She was so incredibly tired of being reminded of he deep dark past, why was her brain trying to convince her she was something she was not!? There was no possible way that she was a murderer and it was even less likely that she would enjoy it. Movement within the house caught her attention, not turning her head to see who entered most recently, she nearly became startled when a male by the name of Ethan sat down beside her.

xxxxT h e n there was a bottle being passed to her. Cocking an eyebrow she then smiled sweetly, "Thanks." she said weakly as her voice cracked. Embarrassed, she then cleared her throat trying to pretend that had not just happened and to make sure it wasn't going to happen next time she spoke. Taking a swig from the bottle that was just offered to her she smiled, oh that felt good on her raspy throat. His voice soon broke her idle mind, he spoke in a very sweet, open tone... laughing nervously she pulled a strand of hair behind her hear while she laughed. "Oh, no, nothing's wrong really." she said, she knew she was a terrible liar but she was actually rather shy and Emilee was rather scared to tell Ethan what was really wrong. It wasn't like she was going to say "I just had a dream about murdering my step-father.", or something else bold. The batting of his eyes caught her attention and she laughed, and needed her eyebrows in an humorous yet questionable fashion "What are you doing?" she said, showing the humor in her tone, trying not to burst out laughing.

xxxxA n o t h e r male entered the room, but did not voice into their mini conversation. Someone she knew as Samael, he was a lion within the all feline pack, Ethan is a cougar. Emilee often wondered if any other "Black Leopard" was going to appear, a male version... a soul mate kind of thing. Glancing over at him she smiled welcomingly then allowed her gaze to return back to Ethan, the smile stayed on her face, she was hoping the two males weren't able to realize she was totally faking her happiness at this moment. "Anything interesting happening today?" she asked curiously attempting to change the subject off the fact that she was upset, and onto something new, something that included all three of them. Gulping she held back from crying again, she was still upset over the dream and wanted to cry again, for no reason... just to feel human or something.

As Ethan sat on the couch, awaiting a response, it was obvious that she was shaken up a little. Though, if he knew anything about females, it was that he shouldn't push if they honestly didn't want him to. So he sat there, swallowing his choice of toxin, letting the buzz take over his thoughts once again. It was nice to be back in his normal state of mind, without his head rushing and pounding. The puma knew that it was probably bad that he was soaking his liver with so much alcohol, but he didn't care any more. It kept his mind off of the things he didn't want it on, and right now he wanted to be there for his pack mate. Yes! He actually cared about them, not just the fact that she was a female. But that did actually give him another reason. If Samael had been in one of these moods, he would have probably left the lion alone. That was for another reason though entirely - Sam didn't ever talk to anyone about his feelings anyway. Even if it seemed like something had been going on. Like the drive home. He seemed so distracted about something.

Dismissing it, he watched as their leader walked in and sat on one of the couches across the room. Soon enough, Moe walked in too. He hadn't seen her all day, so it was nice to know that she too was up and about. The other two cats seemed to be in the car, and they were missing a child - but she was probably upstairs and with Elvira since that's why she seemed to want to go home so quickly. The room actually was awkward with the two others standing around not talking to either on them. Hearing Emilee speak up though, she was sure on letting him know that nothing was wrong. "If you say so." He stated almost sarcastically. The way she was acting made it quite obvious that there really was something going on. The nervous laughter, how she was acting earlier. Still though, he wasn't going to push if she honestly didn't want him to. And by the way she said that, he was sure that she didn't want him poking around her personal affairs.

He was glad that she laughed at his attempt to humor her. In all honesty, he didn't even remember why he did it, other than to get her to cheer up slightly. "Oh, nothing, had something in my eye" His hand quickly moved up to his face as if he was trying to dig something out as a reaction to what he said. It was a blatant lie, and he knew it - probably she did too. But he was just trying to get her to lighten up. There was a lot of nervous energy around her that made him almost slightly uncomfortable. Ethan heard her attempt to change the topic, and instead of letting her know what was going down today, he went to his party that should be happening over the weekend. "Not that I know of. But if you are up for it, I have a party coming up. . we'll put it at tomorrow. My place." Everyone in the city knew where he lived so there was no reason for him to give her directions. Putting on a smile, he finished off the beer in his hand before setting it on the floor.

Koreena got out of the car, her arms stretching above her head. She felt bones pop underneath, and instantly felt better than she had sitting in the car. Everyone quickly filed into the house, and she went after them. It seemed that they had got all the groceries. By the time she made it inside they all seemed to be gathered into the living room. She also noticed Moe and Emilee. The boys in the house were lucky to be surrounded by so many beautiful women, she thought. Though, she was sure they didn't feel the same way when they were fighting over bathroom and mirror space in the morning.

As she entered the house, she felt better at the fact it was a lot cooler than it was outside. They didn't have air conditioning in the old house, but the windows were open, letting a breeze in. Waking over to a free couch, she sat down on the soft black leather. She brought her legs up, to tuck underneath her. "Hey," she greeted to Moe and Emilee, since right now was the first time she had seen them today. Emilee looked a little off, though Koreena wasn't about to ask her what was the matter in front of everyone. Ethan seemed to be doing a good job by keeping her distracted by talking about the party. There was a bottle in his hand, and she shot him a look of jealousy. "Thanks for sharing," she said, sharply like she was mad, but a small smile played on her lips to show she was just joking around. Though, she knew she would be looking for some a little later.

She looked around the room, but didn't see Stacy anywhere. After the events of the Xammar pack losing their little child, she was aware that she had no idea where theirs was. "Where is Miss. Stace?" she asked Moe, tilting her head back to look at the other girl, who remained standing.
