The dagger was a shadow manipulation, when Trinity threw it had the weight and feel of a real dagger, she'd knew best for she is also a blacksmith. The shadow dagger dispersed becoming part of the surrounding shadows. She starts heading their direction, "Hark who goes there!...I've got more where that came from...and my aim only gets deadlier."

Alec hops out from behind their cover with his hands raised high above his head. His eyes dart around frantically as he tries to come up with a reason to be spying on her. "Ah, sorry to startle you. I was looking for my friend, I seem to have lost track of her. Now where could she have gone...oh there you are!"

He pulls Kerana up by her collar and brings her into view. He bows to Trinity slightly and hastily says, "There see, I found her. No need to kill us or anything. We'll be off now." He tugs at Kerana's sleeve and tries to walk away from his near death experience.

Oh great now he has kids doing his dirty work? Trinity was going to let them go their way and was going to find a place to rest for the night. Then she heard the fox girl speak, she tilted her head, "What are you going on about?" she looked between the wolf boy and the fox girl to answer.

Perhaps for once they are not here to get me for the money... Have they not read the Wanted signs?... Oh well ignorance is bliss in this case... it's nice to not have to run and hide my face every so often.

Alec fidgets with his hands a bit, his ears submissively folded back. He stammers out, "Um well, uh, you see we're students from the Inverse school. And...well we...um" He looks to Kerana for help with introductions (something he has never been good at...and social interaction for that matter).

Trinity, at first was going to decline this offer immediately. They are too young, and she is going down a dangerous path. However, the foxgirl has proven her talent. She wasn't certain about the boy and what his talents were. Then again, it would it would be nice to have company, now on her third year going alone on this. Trinity relaxed a little and folded her arms, "Very well, you may join me on my quest to clear my name under one condition. If you get hurt and can not recover with what ever healing abilities you have... you're out. Do I make myself clear?"

She sees the fox girl nod quickly and and enthusiastically with a smile.

Alec couldn't believe it when the woman accepted Kerana's request. His ears perk in surprise and his mouth twitches into an awkward grin. He was just happy that she wasn't going to kill them. With some renewed faith in Kerana's plan he half-enthusiastically says, "O-okay, thanks. You wont regret this."

Trinity began to lead them to the next town, and responded to Alec's comment, "That's just peachy. However the question now is, will you regret this? I'm afraid you under estimate the danger of my quest." She drew her hood over her head concealing her face as the approached the town. "I'll have to go and makes some money, as for my name... might I suggest you look for signs. Meet me in the Drunken Kilt at sun down. If you haven't figured out my name by then I'll tell you. Until then I'll see you later." With that she disappears in the crowd in the middle of town.

Alec's ears tip curiously as he looks over to Kerana. He asks, "I wonder what she meant by...ough?"

His face turns green when he glances over his friend's shoulder to one of the signs their leader had mentioned. "Oh man, I think I might be sick."

Alec moves past Kerana to get a closer look at the poster. His eyes widen and he spins around to his friend while thrusting a thumb in the direction of a large number under Trinity's picture. He hastily whispers, "They don't give that many zeroes to a jaywalker Kerana!"

He turns and looks at the poster again. While still stressed, his voice now has a hint of curiosity. "Odd, they don't actually state why she's wanted, or why her bounty is so high."

Alec, in his initial panic, had overlooked the details mentioned by Kerana. But now as he hears her speak, he feels the knot in his stomach become larger. He knew this was a bad idea from the start. He questions why he lets Kerana talk him into these shenanigans. But then he answers his own question when he thinks back to the look on her faced when she asked him to do this with her.

He is snapped out of his introspection by her flat tone. Her tone is never flat...ever...never never not ever. He remembers something about this from their classes. Something on that poster put her in a trance.

Quickly he snatches the parchment out of her hand and throws it to the side. He remembers one quick way to snap someone out of this sort of trance. With a quick motion he flicks the tip of Kerana's nose harshly with his middle finger, hoping that the sudden pain will be enough to get her back to normal.
