CAST

I'm doing a different approach to this. I would like either a small paragraph describing yourself sent here or if your first post includes enough description of your character then I shall use that here.

HEROES

Trinity :: PixelMuse
This adventure started when Trinity was a young elven woman who is 18 years of age. Her eyes are like a light pair of emerald jewels,she has long purple hair tied up in a long braid. She still wears her Lord Saturn's crest upon her neck. At this time the clothes she wore were a red tunic and a black belt and pair of sandals.

3 years have gone by and the fight with the necromancer had weighed on her shoulders heavily. 21 now she had cut her hair to be shoulder length wears a green hooded cloak, a red tunic, purple chest plate, black pants and boots. She wears a chocker around her neck that had the seal of the Lord she once served.

Nova Blancke :: Nova Blancke
The man was clad in blue. Most likely to match his waist length blue hair. His face was something you'd expect to see in story. Truly handsome or beautiful depending on which word you'd prefer best. His deep emerald eyes would be something you could get lost in. On each wrist he wore a golden bracelet with a large colorless gem in it.

Alejandro Inazuma :: Kittyusha
Alejandro Inazuma is not like your average human. In fact, he is not a human. He is what you call a Valkyrie: A winged human. For many years, he has been hunted by hunters who seek great fortune by selling him as a slave, killing him for pride or just plain stupid reasons. He has mastered many arts among his travels like Arcus Dryadalis (elven archery) and Kiyoshi ken o jōshō (Holy rising sword). He keeps himself hidden with a white cloak. If you were to cross his path and show kindness and hospitality, he would repay you by doing the same. However, if you cross his path and show evil and bad things, you won't live to see the morning. He carries with him two elven short swords, multiple kunai, and a katana.

Goruk :: Hiro Tenkai
A figure walked amongst the red and black tree's slowly yet gracefully almost like he was floating. He had white hair and lizard like eyes which were red in color his face was graceful yet handsome with a body to match. His clothes were a chest piece that looked like lava rocks with spikes coming from the shoulder plates going down his spine leading to a large black tail that followed behind him. On his back were large black wings folded up for he was walking and not using them. His legs had the same type of armor though spikes came forth from his knee caps and three smaller spikes on his shoes. He had no smile only a blank face seemingly void of emotion. He did not sweat even in the heat and didn't seem to blink either as he walked through the forest. His gaze fell upon the group who just came out from a tunnel and seemed amazed and excited about being here.

Keleth :: BeaMichelle
The amber scaled dragon kin was diminutive in comparison to some of the other females, but she made up for it with lots of lean muscle from working her family's fields. Her auburn hair was cropped at chin level and feathered from the heat. She wore just enough tight cloth and wrappings to cover her sensitive bits, cuts, and callouses.

Rikael :: Koori no Kitsune
Rikael grew up on a nice little farm. This was not a normal farm however, this farm....was a place where the creatures that the Knights and other riders of the realm got their steeds. Dragons, Unicorns, Pegasi, Alicorns, Horses, War goats, near anything that you can imagine.

Rikael is a young man, 27 years of age, with pure white hair and milky violet eyes. Although he's out in the sun most of the day, helping train the steeds, his skin is constantly fair and smooth. Most say he's a half elf, since that's the only way the his skin never changes, but he is purely human.

At the age of 6, one of the Pegasus had given birth to twins, the girl, pure white, and the boy, white with white wings that fade into black. He and the male pegasus, became inseparable. On top of his duties at the farm, he also trained himself and the pegasus. So, at the age of 27, he conisders himself a Pegasus Knight. Lance and swords are his weapons of choice, but he has trained himself to duel weild and throw daggers. He is also proficient with a bow.

As of now, he is on a quest with his faithful pegasus, Faerun, to explore the world, with his families blessings and good lucks.

Students from the Inverse University of Magic
Kerana :: Kerana(PixelMuse)
Kerana is a tanned red headed fox girl who attends the Inverse University of Magic. She needs credits on the field to complete her degree in magic and hopes to assist a group of adventurers in their quest to gain them. She's optimistic and carefree as well as shy at first.

Alec Yeats:: Rikki Tikki Travi
Alec Yeats is a shy and timid boy who has never been looked at twice by anyone in his pack. His father sent him to the Inverse school to learn how to get in touch with his wolf brethren by becoming a Druid, and hopefully get some meat on his bones in the process. Whenever Alec isn't at class or with his only friend Kerana, he is usually writing poetry alone in a secluded place where his own personal group of bully's can't find him.

The color of the fur on his ears and tail match his hair. He usually hides behind his long, stringy, black head of hair to avoid making eye contact with anyone other than Kerana on occasion (at which point he begins to blush uncontrollably and lose control of his mouth). Likewise his attire matches his overall outlook, dark and sad.

VILLAINS

(necromancer)??? :: Rikki Tikki Travi
The mask was simple, white with only his yellow retinas leering from the eye holes. What made the mask unique, however, were the archaic scribbling drawn in blood that adorned the man's forehead. His left hand was garbed in a steel gauntlet, it's fingertips fitted with small blood smeared blades. They were tapping against the staff he toyed with in both of his hands. The staff, also forged from steel, was not necessary for him to walk. Rather, he seemed to use it to taunt Trinity by his incessant tapping.

His clothing is ragged and dark, yet with some semblance of organized chaos. Around his hip is a belt with several loops. The loops hold a variety of pouches, vials, and small dried heads.

He stabbed the staff into the ground before Trinity and bent at the waist to make himself heard. His stringy black hair dangled over the mask as he did so.

MAGIC

The Book of Magic
UPDATED 5/2/2011 (Necromancy and Summons)
Please review if you plan to practice, magic, necromancy and alchemy. Also there may be updates as questions and ideas arise.

Inverse University of Magic
This school of magic has been around for centuries. It was named after a powerful sorcerous name Lina Inverse. She was well known for her fire spells and the school has specialty classes in that field. This university has raised the majority of all mages that are currently known to this world.

There is no set age for a person to being to enlist for the school. However the average age is around 15 years old. They decide if a person is ready and stable for their teachings. They are then taught for a four years. However this does not mean that everybody succeeds within that time frame. Some need much longer while other people do not need four years. It varies from person to person. The school operates on a credit-based system. Each year the student needs to acquire a certain amount of credits in order to advance to the next year which can be acquired following the courses of that year.. In their second year they are send out into the world to get credits. This is just one course however and they need to get credits on their other courses as well.

Before being able to get credits for their field training the student needs to be able to use Healing. Every student is forced to take the Ritual "The Path" when they are enrolled. When all goes well the student graduates at the end of their fourth year. But before that happens they need field credits. So they are allowed to step into the vast world in order to gain more experience and their field credits. When the graduated student feels that they have gained enough experience in the world they can go back to take another exam in which their powers are examined to see if they are fit enough to rise in Rank.

Path of Light/Dark Magic.
Due the the opposing nature of Magic a person is unable to use a Perfect Element since the human heart is not capable of having a perfect balance between Light and Darkness. The heart always leans towards one. 'The Path' is not a magic but a Ritual that a person undergoes. It consists of making a Vow which would express itself in the form of a Crest of a Wing of Light or Dark. This directly affects his magic. If one would chose Light then that person draws their power from the Light side of the element. This results in the Element having a lighter color and vice versa.

Tainted
There have been reported cases where a person has gained a Tainted Crest. That Crest has been affected by Mana from their opposing side. It is believed that this happens in dire situations. When a mage on the 'Path of Light' faces death or a similar situation, it is possible that he summons Dark Mana in addition to his own Light Mana. This allows the magic to come closer to Perfection due to the mixture of Light and Dark. Because of this the Magic becomes so much stronger but it leaves the user in pain since his body is not used to the opposing Mana. When this process is repeated, no matter how many months or years is between it, the Crest becomes Tainted. When that happens every spell the mage casts is close Perfection and thus the mage is much stronger then he should be. The downside of this is that it would rapidly destroy his body. There is no way of reversing this process.

The following are currently inactive characters:

Alejandro Inazuma::Azura SnowHeart
However, if you cross his path and show evil and bad things, you wont live to see the morning. He carries with him two elven short swords, multiple kunai and a katana.
Note for Asura SnowHeart: After Alejandro's latest transformation he was left in the middle of the forest.

Aishi::Michi the Kid
A whistling could be heard, faintly echoing around the cavern's tunnels. A rather lithe figure's footsteps hit the rocky flooring. His arms swayed at his sides as he walked, grey-blue eyes staring lazily ahead as his messy black hair occasionally got in in eyesight. Aishi wore a black long-sleeved hooded shirt, probably just one size too big for him along with matching pants. For shoes, well, he wore none. He found it nice to feel the cool earth below his feet even if he stepped on something sharp. It never bothered him too much, after all, wounds always healed.
Note to Michi the Kid: Aishi thought he found a short cut to his village and he took Veran with him so that he could be locked up in a safe place, away from the cursed knife. Instead of finding home he got lost, again.

Veran :: ChaliceKing
A thief. A murderer. A traitor. He had been called these and worse by many. People shunned him, threw curses when he came near and even tried to kill him whenever they thought they stood a chance.

He was no stranger to the negative spotlight and yet, it never seemed to be devoid of excitement. Always a challenge, a rival to fight or a scuffle to get involved in. Occasionally there was even talk of wars and strong spell casters that needed hunting. Now those were fun.

As he made his way along the road, his short swords hanging at his side, he spotted a couple people ahead of him chattering a ways ahead of him. Wonder what they're up to? Maybe I should do a little eavesdropping. He quickly ducked out of sight and tried to get closer without drawing too much attention to himself. He never was one for stealth, but when it called for it he could be plenty stealthy and sneaky. They looked like they were arguing. His dark crimson clothes did not help him blend at all as he edged closer.

Note to ChaliceKing: Veran was taken by Aishi to his town but unfortunately the two are now lost and Veran is far away from the cursed knife.

CURRENTLY

((I'LL TRY TO KEEP THIS AS UP TO DATE AS MUCH AS I CAN))
  • PROPHECY
    Long ago a prophecy was made. In a world where there are 10 realms the prophesy stated that one will fall and darkness will fill the lands.
    Three years after that a holy light will shatter it to pieces.

    Many have thought that the "holy light" would clearly be a paladin since so few outside that trade are able to wield holy magic.

    Currently this is the event that started it all and how the 10 realms became 9.

INTRODUCTION
By the age of 18 Trinity had served Lord Saturn well as captain of the royal guard and recently had succeeded in saving his son. Lord Saturn said he grant her any request. She wanted to visit home. So he granted her request along with a choker with the royal symbol. She wore this choker with pride.

When she went home there was nothing but the stench of death and burnt houses. She saw her parents crucified. Her father spat in her face, which was expected due to the conflicts of interest in the past. Her mother with gentle eyes "you did the best you could".

"I'm sorry mom, I'm sorry dad. I'm too late" her eyes lowered as a tear crawls out of her eye.

Her father rubbed it in "Got that righ..." as he breathed his last.

Trinity looked toward the forest. She saw a figure swaying in the woods it was her master, hung.

She knew it was her that whatever did this was after. She rushed back as quickly as she could back to the Realm of which she served again, she was too late. She screamed "NOOOOOO" as she knelt in front of her lord's crucified body.

The sound of echoing footfalls reverberated around Trinity. There is a chuckle that echoed with it, like something wass funny and only the person laughing knew about it. The amused chuckle soon became accompanied by the tapping of steel to steel.

Seemingly from nowhere (perhaps the shadows, from behind something like a thief, or maybe he had been there all along) a man in a mask approached Trinity slowly. His raspy chuckle is vaguely muffled by the mask.

"It never ceases to amuse me. As a boy I would be told of the hero scorned shouting "No" in despair and horror. I never believed that people would actually do that. It just seemed silly to me. Yet here I am, once again proven wrong. It just gets better every time."

As a slap to the face, the man reared back his head and shouted "no" in a manner similar to the way Trinity had not long ago. The shout blended into a bemused chuckle, then a hearty laugh, but soon became a horribly mad cackle. The mask no longer muffled his laugh, but instead threw each and every spiking sound to the poor girl.

He looked back down to Trinity and raised his left hand, preparing to strike her with his gauntlet, and end the prophecy once and for all.

PostPosted: Thu Mar 10, 2011 4:33 pm
She heard the man's foot steps, then his laughter and his jeering. Trinity could sense what his next move was. Things slowed down for her at that moment. A small part inside of her said Go ahead...let him do it... there's nothing left... she closed her eyes for a moment and let out a breath and followed what the rest of her said I'm not letting him get away with their deaths! I'm going to... her eyes opened glowing for the first time ...avenge them.

As he was about to touch her with his bladed fingers her hand caught his wrist, her hand was glowing white, she didn't notice it right now because her eyes were fixed on trying to identify her opponent's face. She heard a sizzling sound for the light from her hand was messing with his dark aura a weakness? Her eyes focused on the metal hand. She could study the intricate detail and craftsmanship along with the mark of the blacksmith that made it.

"How dare you! How dare you come and show your face here just to laugh at my misery! I will not let their deaths go in vain!"

The man cried out in pain and rage. The rage was due mostly to the surprise of her being able to command light magic. He'd watched her for some time now, and there had been no indication that she was able to manipulate energies.

He felt his flesh start to burn underneath the gauntlet. It wasn't long until he smelled the searing flesh. The light was too much for him, he needed to get out of her grasp but couldn't because of how much it had sapped his physical strength.

He reached into a pouch with his right hand and threw ground up bone into the air. He clenched his right hand into a fist, forcing the bone to condense and becomes a hard pike. He then made a flicking motion with his fingers and sent the shard flying to the neck of her Lord. There is a squishy thud and the Lord's head rolls next to the man's feet.

He grins behind the mask and peers down at Trinity with a masochistic glare. "Looks like your master wants to say goodbye one last time."

It was all to much for her. She watched as the head fell to the ground, tears fell as she to fell to the ground. Her Lord was truly dead. All was black. The last memory she has of her lord was his head falling hitting the ground in a splatter then rolling toward the man.

One might muse that she had died from the shock of it all Her breath was very shallow one could assume that she was going to die any minute or was already dead.

The man snatched his left arm away from the girl. He looked down at his foot and nonchalantly tapped at the head with his staff. He returned his gaze to Trinity and chuckled again, seemingly amused by the next thing that his was going to say.

"Mortals are truly fragile creatures. Flesh that burns, bones that break, but to break a mortal's spirit...that is how you really kill them."

Once more the chuckle worked it's way up to a made cackle as he seemed to be swallowed by the ground beneath him. Even after his head has been submerged and he has gone, his terrible voice remained to taunt the girl. One last thing to torture her until she hopefully offed herself.

Trinity laid there for 3 days with his laughter, last thing she heard, echoing in her mind. On the 3rd day she was found by 3 Paladins. There was enough left to revive her and bring her back on her feet. The moment she told them her name and what happened they figured that she was the one the prophecy foretold. They trained her to use her to control her holy energy yet she wasn't with them long enough to learn how to maintain energy after casting it. She was very worn out after every use. She also learned she had another ability, she could manipulate and use shadows to travel. It was strange that she was able to do both but regardless the Paladins accepted her.

The mysterious man, who she found was a necromancer, discovered that she was alive and would haunt her dreams. He discovered that she was alive and was very displeased. He put up a bounty for $$1000100100 gold and labeled her "Trinity the Titan Terror" the wanted posters blamed her for the darkness spreading across the land, the destruction and the deaths. She was chased down by bounty hunters countless of times.

Trinity had to break away from the Paladins who helped her and the day she left she cut her long braid and left it with them. She had new purple armor built for flexibility and protection. Whenever she needed to make money she would stop at a blacksmiths shop and create weapons and armor taking her cut. No one seem to care who she was there but were very impressed with her work. She kept her eyes opened for the blacksmith that designed the metal hand that held back.

3 YEARS LATER

Deep in the forest a woman of age of roughly 21 is being chased by bandits and bounty hunters. Her name is Trinity she had been on the run for 3 years ever since the realm of the lord she had served under had been destroyed along with her own home village both for which she is blamed for. She knows that she is the only one who knows the truth, that a necromancer had destroyed both places as well as 7 other kingdoms and yet has no way of letting people believe it.

She stops in a clearing then fought the bounty hunters head on. Slashing her glaive at them but not aiming for fatal blows for she knew that these people are only misled by greed and the wanted posters.

At one point she was lifted off the ground by one of the bigger thugs.
"Don't bother squirming you aren't going anywhere" said the big guy.

She didn't say a word but her green eyes glowed and she melted into the shadows of his arm disapearing from his grip.
"HEY WHAT!? WHERE'D THE WENCH GO!?" he panicked.

"RIGHT HERE!!!" she drops from the shadows of the trees and thrusts her foot at his neck. As the giant was fell unconcious the others took their leave. She was a lil out of breath and didn't even notice through out the battle that she was being watched...
PostPosted: Wed Mar 23, 2011 4:05 pm
Kerana was amazed by how that woman was able to take down that huge guy and the rest of the group. She assumed that they were all bad because of the terrible clothes and piercings they were wearing. In barely a whispered tone Kerana looks to her friend Alec filled with excitement, "Wow! eek D-did you see that Alec? She... is... awesome! Those credits are ours for sure! She's gotta be an adventurer with moves like that 3nodding What do you think Alec?"

Alec peeks at the woman through his long hair. His ears a half folded back as though he wasn't sure he should be afraid or not. He stammers out, "I don't know Kerana...s-she could just as easily be a-a th-thief or something. I still don't see why we can't just get those credits the regular way."
