*Devine couldn't resist after hearing her and smiled
gently as he nodded without turning to her, he reached forward shaking
the other shinigami's name, he spoke as his hands seemed to emit
something that pulsed as it touched it looks as though vines shot out and
wrapped around the shinigami it was brisk and looked like black vines
with thorns as it dug into the shinigami's flesh.*

Ah... Raziel... it's a pleasure... you smell just as rotted as usual, a
homeless man seems to fit you as well... what are you doing here and
what is it that you want... you know I am your superior thanks to that one
favor you owe me. So tell me what is it?

*The shinigami squirmed and winced glaring at Devine with vengeance*

*he grunted as the vines tightened and he yelped, black blood seemed to
seep a bit from his body to the ground instantly killing the grass around
his feet.*

Ergh! Th-there's a bounty on your head...if one of us brings your head
before Castello and Giselle we receive a grand reward and penance for our
sins allowing us mortality once more... and a full pardon and once in
mortality riches beyond our dreams!

*Devine frowned in disappoint and worry as he looked on at the man
before him, he looked down and breathed in deeply*

This will hurt you... in more ways than expected... but I will not kill you...
since your regeneration powers are slow, it will give us time to flee, you
know I can easily kill you, but I don't see the need, next time you come
for me... I will not hesitate to kill you...

*With this he waved his hand to the and the vines shredded the shinigami
as he yowled and shrieked until he was left in slices, Devine flashed in the
air like a picture and appeared before Basil, and looked at her glumly*

I guess we will have to run somewhere, if you don't want to be involved
with me and don't want to get hurt... tell me now... I won't involve you
further than this if you don't want to be. We only have a bit of time before
he regenerates again.

She frowned at the thought of running away like an injured enemy too cowardly to die honourably. She licked the sweat from her upper lip and shoved the blade of her sword back into its hilt before sliding it back into the garter on her thigh.

"I do not like the idea of running away. But dying because of an enemy too stupid to take the first move in a battle is even worse." She winced as she leaned back on the trunk of the tree. She looked off across the trees to the centre of the city where buildings were thickest on the horizon. "I know an underground stretch of the city where most of the nonhumans reside. It's surprisingly large, and a good place to hide." She glanced back at the second shinigami as he bled out into the snow and sighed irritably. "Do you propose we start running for the treeline, or are you planning on using magic to get away?" she asked as she looked up at him with a slightly sarcastic tilt of her head. "I know I'm going to faint if I jump locations again, especially to one so far away."

She stood shakily, holding onto the overhead branches for support as her limbs shook and watching him expectantly.
