Really upset now.

So me and my hubby applied for jobs in a national park. I can't help being upset that he is getting phone calls and they haven't even sent me an email telling me if they got my application. I know they do that because they send an email if you application is rejected (we both got one because we didn't apply for jobs on the board and we had to reapply).

I called HR and they, of course, won't even talk to me about it. I got the "I don't know, the person in charge of that isn't here" speech. There is a computer right in front of you, LOOK IT UP!

(I'm not proud of this next part.)
I checked his email and he has gotten 3 emails from them! THREE and they can't even be bothered to send me 1! He has one saying that they got his application and 2 were and invitation to reapply or something. Basically they said "there is a mistake on your application, fix it."

Wow, so basically they are giving you the run around? Sounds like the typical job market. Don't worry I am sure you'll find something even if you don't get the job you recently applied for.

well part of me feels bad for you because that is a shitty situation, but the other part of me is glad i'm not on the boat alone

I was working part time holiday help for Toys R Us obviously during the holidays
and they didn't even bother firing myself or any of the other employees
so I was left with no time to prepare myself with another job
now, because i am a full time student at a university, no one wants to hire me because they are not willing to work around my school schedule
so i feel your pain i really do
