A small chuckle could be heard expressing itself from Kanaye's mouth while Kanaye flicked his zanpaktou with his right hands index finger, catching with his left palm. He was hoping he would choose the Ace, though the Ace represented a high number, it could also be described as a low number making it Kanaye's choice whether to proceed to activating his Release. His opponent had fought well enough and he at least deserved a small chance to come face to face with Kanaye's release. His wish would be granted. As Kanaye unmercifully lifted his zanpaktou towards his own chest a sudden burst of reiatsu began to immobilize his body. It was time to end the battle once and for all. He analyzed his opponent thoughtfully. He apparently had a look of curiosity in on his face. Perhaps it was best to explain. Kanaye rose his voice as he began to answer his opponents conclusion.
"Death? I have already experienced death..twice..and you bring yourself to the conclusion that it is what I fear? Wrong, it is true that you must confide in yourself with confidence, but not to much that you will be devoured by security misjudging your opponent. You say your powers are superior to mines..perhaps it is true..but have you noticed that you haven't been able to lay a pitiful scratch on me? I have attempted marking your words into my head, but it seems that it has not worked out. Everyone has a different sense of battle...That is what forms the Espada. We are all created for a different purpose, but it is that purpose that brings us together. You have fought well. You have proven to me that you are indeed worthy of my Release and for that I applaud you. Now, shall we begin? Gamble, Anguilla!"
A massive reiatsu spread through the area sending clouds of dust around the area. Kanaye's physical description barely changed except for four large spikes of hardened black blood released themselves from Kanaye's back as they attempted to stab the center of Colouras's chest. The spikes were mainly aimed towards the sternum bone located in the center of Colouras's chest. Kanaye's black blood had several qualities making it on of the hardest materials that could be released from a zanpaktou. As the spikes were sent hurdling with incredible speed towards Colouras's chest, Kanaye released his Cero an inch away from Colouras's lower stomach where it was normally charged. Unlike his usual Cero, this one was black with a red core located deep in the center. Kanaye's eyes and senses were focused..alarmed..and disciplined to follow his opponent, even if it meant death...
