Man, I logged in to start my character creation and get going, only to find out you're revamping. Such a sad time.
However, HENLO everybody! Since it's under construction, can a Mod or someone go over the basics for me for the Guild? As in, how going about learning techniques and increasing levels works. I'm from an older guild, and would like to see how yall do things without searching around everywhere (which I will do regardless).
But if anybody remembers or was in Naruto: Rise of the Shinobi back in the day, I'm more than stoked to get to know ya! Thanks peeps!
EDIT:: Also, any help needed in whatever revamp is coming, I'm more than willing to help with. Been a Mod before, and have no problem helping out to make it a better experience for everyone.

Hello again!
Learning techniques is based on posting X amount of times. If you're one of those people who likes lumping all your training into one jumbo training montage, we count a "post" as 3-4 sentences.
Ranking up is done by completing missions and/or participating in events. In addition to cold hard cash, missions give you something called advancement credit (AC), and getting that above certain thresholds will cause you to get stronger. We actually keep track of two different ranks: title and body. Basically, Body Rank is what you level up by doing missions and is how strong you are. Title Rank is how much your village trusts you (Genin, Chuunin, etc.). Most villages will give you some sort of test to go up a title rank, but going up a body rank is automatic. It's a pretty good way to keep squads on roughly the same level in-character without restricting what the more avid RP-ers do, in my experience.
We're also currently tweaking a system one of our mods came up with a while back, where doing missions will give you something you can trade in as training posts.
