JiStar nodded. "No problem," he said. He was a bit worried as well. Cole's tongue would be tender for a while if he didn't slow down. But the Star as amused as well. Elzario looked like...a mother hen. He almost chuckled at the thought.

Cole either didn't get that he needed to drink hot things carefully or he didn't care. And it was more of the latter. The tea was warm which was something Cole wanted to be again as soon as possible. "I can feel my fingers," he answered. He looked disappointingly into his cup when it went empty on him. He wasn't warm yet!

The teen looked up at JiStar, holding his cup out as well. "More please?" he asked.


JiStar nodded and took the cup. "Sure, but while I heat up more water, why don't you go take a hot bath? It'll help warm you up as well," he said.

Cole's eyes lit up. "Kay," she said. As nice as Elzario's shoulder rub was if a bath would get him warm again he was willing to go. So cup gone he got up and went to the bathroom. Soon his wet clothes were on the bathroom floor and the sounds of running water could be heard.

Elzario stepped back as Cole stood up. He watched the other head for the bathroom before looked at JiStar. "I'm going to order up some more...fitting clothes for Cole and Eric." He then walked off to where the phone was and made a call. "Hm...yeah. It seems I've picked up one more. Yeah, at least the basics. Also, look up their parents for me and let them know their whereabouts. I'll handle everything else. That's all. Thanks." He hung up and sighed, looking out a window. What a...very eventful day...

As if his name was a summons, Eric woke up from his nap and was standing behind Elzario when he got off the phone. He was hopping up in down in one place with a worried look on his face. "Is big brother alright?" he asked, eyes wide.

The small boy had gone off to nap after a while. JiStar and Alexandre were being weird and Cole wasn't home. And Elzario had gone too. So he was left with nothing to do. So he'd gone to sleep. But now they were back so he was awake and wanted to play! Once he was sure Cole was alright of course!


Cole took a while in the bathroom. One could even wonder if he had passed out in there. But finally he came out in a gust of steam and shuffled to his room to get dressed. He'd stayed in there till he was defrosted. Warm again now he came out far cleaner than he had gone in or had ever been.

He got dressed before wrapping himself up in a blanket and sitting on the couch.

By now the tea was ready so once he heard Eric's delighted squeal of 'brother' and someone grunting afterward, he carried the tea out to Cole.

Cole was being semi squished from how hard Eric was hugging him combined with the fact that the small boy was sitting on him. "E-Eric...get off. I want tea!" he said.

Eric only hugged him tighter. "Nooooooo! Eric is better than tea!" he said.

Elzario looked down at the small, bouncing boy whom was apparently full of energy. "Hm? Cole will be fine once he's done with his bath. Rather, Eric, could you sit still for me-" he stopped when his phone rang. "Hello? Eric? Ah... a moment please..." He turned to scan Eric to try and eyeball his measurements, only to find the small boy gone. With a sigh, he headed into the other room to find Cole being glomped by his younger brother. "Eric." He stood by the couch and then shook his head. "He watched the two brothers for a moment before returning to his phone. "Cole's is the same as last time. Eric is..." He listed off the numbers and made sure his assistant got them.

Nodding his head, he hung up the phone for, hopefully, the last time that morning. He returned to where Cole was sitting and was glad to see that the other looked better. "I ordered you and Eric some clothes for the Winter. After breakfast, we'll contact your parents."

Alexandre looked about the completed table, having finished the last tidbits as JiStar got Cole more tea. "Okay! Breakfast is ready!"

Cole's words and Elzario's for that matter went unheard. The small boy continued his enthusiastic hugging. Cole continued to try to pry Eric off as he listened to Elzario.

"Thank you. Winter clothes sound amazing!" Cole said. He nodded about his parents. Magic did really weird things. He pinched himself and pulled at his hair. He really was human now. When he tried to work magic nothing happened at all!

Breakfast seemed to be the magic word. Once it was announced Eric shot off like a rocket towards the kitchen and scrambled into the chair at the head of the table. "Breakfast now! What is it?!" he said in a cute demand.

Elzario shook his head. "No thanks is needed. I'm doing this out of my own kindness. I owe you for all you did for me." He then watched as Cole came to terms with how human he had become. "No magic, huh? Guess you'll be having more lessons on how to manually do things from now own." He chuckled a bit.

Alexandre lightly laughed as Eric shot into his seat, cutely demanding breakfast. "We have pancakes, toast, eggs, and oatmeal. For beverage, we have your choice of either orange juice or warm tea."

Cole gave a half smile. He wasn't quite sure what he'd done though. Matching Elzario up with that woman hadn't really worked. But if Elzario was happy, that was all that mattered. Plus he was going to get to stay with the man and that really made Cole happy! "I guess so... And I'll to eat and drink on a regular basis if I want to live right?" he said. He grinned. This had the potential to be fun.

He took Elzario's hand without thinking. "Let's go get breakfast before Eric eats it all," he said.

Eric practically drooled. Alexandre had made lots of yummy things! He wondered what he should eat first. "Pancakes and eggies please. And orange juice please!" he said. He was using manners now. It was still cute.

Elzario was pretty sure that Cole was unaware of what he had done to make him happy. But he was going to help the other figure it out soon enough. For now, he wanted to get the other acquainted with his human life. "Yes, that's about right. And you'll also get tired and hurt. You can get sick and more. I'll be with you through all of it, though." He looked down briefly when the other grabbed his hand. "Hm? Yeah. Though, I doubt that's possible. Eric is still but a infant, pardon, a tumbling toddler."

Once in the kitchen, he instinctively pulled a seat out for Cole (despite him being a guy) before taking sitting down himself.

Alexandre set the requested food in front of Eric. At the same time, she asked what Cole and Elzario wanted of the offered breakfast.

Elzario thought about it, then nodded his head. "Well, I have a long day ahead of me, so everything is good. Ah, and warm tea for a beverage, please. Thanks, Alexandre."

Cole sat down in the offered seat, not finding anything odd about it at all. What he did find odd was that he was human, had no magic, and hadn't granted Elzario's wish yet. He should still have magic for that! How was he going to do it now? But... the selfish part of him rejoiced. He was alive! He hadn't ceased to exist and probably never would until this new human body expired! He was okay with that. He'd get to live for a while yet instead of just disappearing.

Cole looked at all the food curiously. " Ah... may I have some eggs, toast, and oatmeal please?" he said.

Eric grinned and tucked in with no need for encouragement. He drenched his eggs in ketchup and his pancakes in syrup to the point he wouldn't be able to taste anything except syrup and ketchup. It quickly became obvious he was going to be a sticky mess once he was done eating.

JiStar leaned against the counter and watched the whole scene with a small smile on his face. He had only a cup of coffee and was content with that for now. He was more interested in watching this small family than eating.

Elzario thought about what was offered. "Hm... one of everything, please. I feel surprisingly hungry now." He statement was backed up by his stomach grumbling. "So, yeah..."

Alexandre nodded her head and fetched a plate for the both of them. She sat down Cole's first, and then Elzario's plate...it was piled on. "Rio more than likely exhausted from re-awakening to your powers and then suddenly using them strenuously. Rio should eat lots to recover."

Elzario huffed and smiled. "I see. So that's what it is." He then dug in, eating with the voracity of a young child.

It happened while they were eating. Cole looked up from his breakfast, chewing a mouthful, and glanced around the table at the family he now had. His eyes had traveled over everyone, Eric, Alexandre, JiStar, and finally Elzario. When he saw the man that morning something in him changed and shifted. His heartbeat picked up and he felt his face warm as his glance turned into a stare. What if Elzario noticed? What would he do? He didn't understand what this shift inside him was. Red faced, he continued staring at Elzario with his mouth full.

JiStar noticed Cole's expression first, but said nothing. Things were going to get interesting. He smiled into his cup and then looked at Alexandre to see if she noticed too. He had to think on how to advance his own relationship with his former student as well as watch over Cold and Elzario's relationship. Eric was an interesting twist. It was astounding what a wishing star's magic could do.

Elzario was busy stuffing his face. Why did he feel so hungry? He ate regularly. To think using his powers took so much out of him. Then he thought of Cole and stopped. The other almost died using his powers. He was back now but...he didn't seem to be eating as much as himself. Looking up, he turned Cole's way, only to notice the other was staring at him. "Hm? Uh..." He then realized this was the most he's ever eaten in front of the other. Giving a wry smile, he chuckled. "Sorry. Looks like I'm hungrier than I thought. I'm okay, Cole! You should eat your fill as well!" He smiled at the other.

Alexandre saw what was going on with Cole, but chose not to say anything. Just like with JiStar, Cole's battle was his own. Though, she wondered if her brother would be as thick as JiStar was not too long ago. Unpon Elzario opening his mouth though, she heaved a heavy sigh, giggled lightly, and then moved to get him some more food.

Oh no. He was in love with Elzario and Elzario didn't even catch on! He swallowed and nodded. "R-Right!" he said. He then tried to get lost in the actions of chewing and swallowing breakfast. He was the answer to Elzario's wish... He had to be.... What else could be happening? Why else would he still be alive, but human? Throughout breakfast he pondered this and snuck glances at the man he had fallen in love with. How was he going to get the other man to fall in live with him?

The rest of the day went on... normally. As normal as things could get with a housefull of supernatural people and people that didn't formally exist. Eric ran around and played himself into exhaustion after breakfast and was currently napping. Cole was staring out a window pondering everything that had happened. Then he thought of something. What exactly did Elzario do? Humans had jobs right? What was Elzario's job? He knew so little about the man but he had taken care of Cole and then Eric since day one. It was shocking.

He searched his memories to make a list of everything he knew about Elzario. It really didn't add up to much. So he went off to find the man and start asking questions.

After breakfast, Elzario when to play with his star friends. Even though he was a young man who was to soon be getting on in his years, he found himself invigorated with a youthful energy. His usually tied back hair hung loose and wild in the wind as he chased the other kids.

As the day went on, he calmed down having spent his excess energy. Tying his hair back, he fixed his appearance back into a regal young man. Then he went to walk the fields of medicine that had flourished with the help of his company's 'interference'. After showing the world how useful their natural medicine was...maybe the star's were to thank for that as well. "Heh, maybe they were watching me all this time without my knowing?" He smiled, wistfully, as he looked up at the darkening sky.

In the fields of medicine there was a small group of children of varying ages surrounding a woman who was obviously pregnant. A few of the children he had just been playing with ran over to the woman and joined the group. She was one of the people who helped care for the medicine plants. The families of the workers had formed a community and their focus was caring for the plants and teaching their children how to care for the plants. Which was what this woman was doing.

Slowly Elzario and his company's help was being accepted. So when Elzario walked by he received a smile and a nod of greeting instead of the glares he used to get when his company had first taken over the medicine fields.

( I hope you don't mind. I thought that building on the fields and the people who work them would add another layer to the story to make it more interesting. )
