[$] Wish upon a Star (Closed with Shadow)

Cole had found the swings and was looking at them with interest. He had seen some use them at night before and he had always wanted to try it..... He went up to them and sat on one. Slowly he started to swing back and forth in the crisp fall air. He laughed as he swung higher. As he swung he sent his power out and felt a sudden light. He had found someone!! He 'zoomed' in on the light. It wasn't male, but female. He tilted his head. The women was the only one he could find. He nodded. Then he hopped off the swing and started to walk back to Elzario's.

It was when he was close to the building that he felt the light of another. It was male this time. He smiled. Two in one night! He went inside. He would have Elzario meet each one on one in the park. If he felt a click between their souls he would start feeding his power into the relationship and have them fall in love. With that his would fade and cease to be. The last part saddened and frightened him. Elzario would probably not care once he was gone and wouldn't thank him. A silver tear drop slid down his cheek. He brushed it away and it became a silver stone in his hand. He pocketed it. He would give it to Elzario so the man at least could possibly remember him.

He walked into the building and up to the elevator. He hit the botton needed to take him up and sighed as the doors slid open. He stepped inside and hit the botton that would take him to Elzario's home. About half way up he fainted in the elevator. He couldn't take the small space and panicked when he couldn't find Elzario to hold onto. He laid on the floor of the elevator, unconsious and only visible to his Wisher. The elevator doors slid open with a 'ding' once they reached Elzario's home.

Elzario was standing before a mirror, looking to make sure his clothes were clean. His secretary had already gone downstairs to inform the driver.

When the elevator ding sounded, he became distracted and turned hsi head. "I thought you went to fetch the..." He fell silent as he noticed that it was his personal elevator that had opened. And on top of that, the boy from before was inside. He sighed, rollign his eyes.

He walked over to the boy and carried his body to the couch. "Geez...like I said. Nothing but trouble." He shook the boy roughly. "Oi, wake up."

Cole woke up when he felt himself being shaken roughly and someone telling him to wake up. He groaned and opened his eyes. "Please stop shaking me. I am not a rag doll," he said softly. He sat up and removed Elzario's hands from him. He ran a hand through his hair before looking back at the older male.

"I have found two potential loves for you. IF all goes well, you should be rid of me soon," he said. He reached inside his pocket and took out his tear. It was warm with it's own inner warmth. He gave it to Elzario.

"Don't forget me when you are with your love," he said. He yawned and rubbed his eyes. He laid back down on the couch and fell asleep.

"Of course you're not a rag doll. They're lighter and not so hard to move." Elzario retorted. He then listened to the other's discoveries. "Two of them, huh? How interesting..."

When he was given a stone in the form of a teardrop, he frowned. "What's this?" It was warm, and not from convection, but as if it was alive. "...Heh. Such sentimentality." He said nothign more as the boy fell asleep. So, he wants me to remember him despite the fact that I don't even know his name. Such a demand is...

As he walked out, he found himself pocketing the teardrop. He took his elevator to the lobby and climbed into the car. Now that I think about it, he didn't even tell me where to meet them. Oh well. "Driver, to Melliford Avenue."

Cole slept well. It was his first time actually sleeping. He could understand now why humans liked it. It was so.........relaxing. He heard the sound to his wisher leaving, but didn't bother to get up. He could feel the man was going to go and meet the woman he had sensed. He followed both of Elzario's and the woman's lights with his senses. He hoped she was the one for Elzario's sake. The man needed to be taught tenderness by a women.

The only problem with Cole's abilities and Elzario's wish was that it was too broad. Find someone to love. That was the quest of all humans. It was a huge task to shift through every human in the viscinity and find the right one. Cole had been lucky to find two potential loves for Elzario. He wished the man luck and hoped the two's soul's clicked. If they did, Elzario would have his wish granted today. I don't think he even remembers my name. I hope he doesn't screw this up. he thought.

Elzario watched teh scenery pass by as he sipped on a cup of tea. He only drank wine or champagne when another was present. Alone, you always found him drinking tea. Then he pressed a button next to his seat and called his secretary.

"Tell me again about her."
"Yes sir. The CEO of Saskura Medical Inc. Ryoku Hasegawa. She was originally a nurse aiming to be the next head nurse. However, due to the corrupt council, she never got the chance. During the revolution that occured with all hospitals across the country, she managed to get the support of those under her, and became CEO. Anything else sir?"
"What does she look like?"
"From recent pictures, she has shoulder-length black hair. Her eyes are a very dark brown. Skin is fair. Height wise...she is at least half a foot shorter than you."
"i see. That'll be all."

When his driver pulled up onto the right street, Elzario got out. The restaurant he was to have lunch with her at was just before him. Checking the time, he was half an hour early. "Perfect."

Cole woke up about fifteen minutes after Elzario left. He got up and changed into his clothes. He also slipped on his shoes and one of Elzario's coats. Dressed he went to the elevator. The whole ride down he took big gulps of air. He was getting better with small spaces. He shirt was closed this time and he soon cloaked himself. He followed Elzario's light right to his car. Of course he didn't go up to it. He leaned against the wall of a building right across the street from it.

Cole could barely see Elzario through his fog covered windows. Smiling slightly he drew the words 'GOOD LUCK!' in the air. They appeared on Elzario's window. He waved at him before the steam could fill up the clear spaces he had created. He did this all from across the street.

While Cole was waiting he experienced something he had never felt before. His stomach growled. He was.....hungry. Too bad he didn't know what to do when he was hungry. Some guys were watching him from a street corner, but Cole paid them no mind. He was leaning against the building with his eyes half closed. He had uncloaked himself because he was getting hungry and tired.

Elzario did his best to keep a look of bordom off his face. The look in Ryoko's eyes were so...greedy. It's either my company or my body that she's after. That's no good. It's not fun if one is looking ahead of their reach.

"Don't you think so, Elzario-san?"

He put a practiced smile on his face. "Yes, that is quite an interesting fact. Please, tell me more." He mentally cringed as the woman eagerly took up his invitation to furhter talk about the hardships of the medical field.

Then his eyes turned to the window. His eyes briefly widened when he saw the boy from before on the sideway across the way. Great, he's here... Then he noticed that several people were looking at the boy. Strange, everyone else can see him. Wait, everyone else!?

Elzario checked his watched before sighing. "Apologies, Miss Ryoko. It seems I have some urgent business to attend to."

Before the woman could ask him, he walked out of the restaurant. His driver brought him an umbrella. He took it and crossed the street to where Cole was. "Hey... ... ..." What was his name? "Cole... What are you doing here? I thought you were sleeping."

Cole blinked his eyes a few times and smiled when he saw Elzario. He tilted his head slightly as the man spoke. His mind seemed to have grown slow. He cut off his power, seeing as the man still had another person to meet. He shook his head and noticed the people staring at him. It was too late for him to cloak himself now. He turned his attention to Elzario.

"She's one of the two potenial lovers I was telling you about before. I came because I have to actually see you two to use my power on you. So how's it going? Do you like her?" he asked. He yawned and his stomach growled. " As for sleeping, I woke up obviously," he said.

Inside he was happy Elzario had remembered his name. It made him feel better about the fact that he was going to cease existing after he granted Elzario's wish.

Elzario's eye twitched. "The woman is one of them? Excuse me if my memory is lacking, but I recall telling you that I despise women." He said, keeping his voice low. He then fell silent as he heard Cole's stomach grumbled. He sighed. "Come on, get in the car." He said, grabbing Cole by his wrist. "No arguing, you're hungry. And I'll be damned if I let you starve just to hear you complain later..."

He lead Cole to the car. "Driver, take us back to the hotel. And order for a chef to cook a small meal. Something simple andn othing too extravagant..."

Cole dropped his eyes when he saw he had made Elzario angry. He sighed. Apparently he couldn't do anything right by this man. He didn't say anything as the man scolded him.

He did look up startled when Elzario grabbed his wrist and started pulling him to the car. He opened his mouth to protest. Ryoko was waiting for him, but at Elzario's words his month snapped closed. He blushed slightly and hung his head as he got in the car. He sat in the car quietly and rolled the window down a little so he could get a little air. He was going to have to find out the name of the strange feeling he got when ever he was in an enclosed space like this. It was like the walls were closing in on him making the space smaller and smaller.......... Cole remembered to breath before he passed out.

"I'm sorry," he said softly. He looked out the window as they headed back to Elzario's home.

Elzario noticed that Cole was breathign in a strange manner. Then he paused. "Claustrophobia. That's what you have, isn't it? A fear of tiny, enclosed spaces..." He the looked out his own window. "That won't do if you're to hang around me." He blinked. "But...if I were to be asked...I'd help."

Back at the hotel, they took the elevator once more up to his home. He didn't say anythign at the boy's actions. Once teh door open, a table had already been set with food. "Ah, good. He finished before we got here. Excellent." He glanced at the boy. "Eat whatever you like. It's makes no different to me. Since even I can't eat all of thsi alone..." He took a seat and started with a simple bowl of rice. Occasionally eating vegetables and bits of meat.

Cole concentrated on his breathing. He looked at Elzario when he said he had clautrophobia. When the man described what it was he nodded. Cole was surprised when Elzario said he would help if asked. He smiled slightly and looked back out his window. He'd ask for help them.

Finally they were back at the hotel. During the elevator ride Cole clung to Elzario's arm, breathing strangely as he endured the small space. The sight that greeted them when the doors opened was a table laden with food. Cole looked at it all curiously. He rushed out of the elevator and went to the table. At Elzario's invitation, Cole sat down and started to eat cauiously. After all it was his first time eating earth food. His eyes widened in surprise when he found it good.

He looked at Elzario with a smile on his face. "It tastes good! Thank you!" he said. He went back to eating. He found some sushi and tried it with the same caution he had treated everything else he had tried with.

He stopped eating again after a moment and looked up at Elzario. "The next one is male. How can you help with my claustrophobia?" he said.

Elzario gave a light chuckled when he was thanked by Cole. He continued eating until his rice bowl was empty, and then he stopped.

"The next one is male, huh? Hopefully, he is to my liking more so than that horrid woman." He blinked at Cole's question. "Ah...that is..." He stood up and walked into his room. Then he returned with water lily blossom, preserved by a liquid that made it look frozen in time.

He walekd over to Cole and handed it to him. "If you smell it, it still holds the scent of the pond it was taken from. Pin it to your shirt. If you start to feel claustrophobic again, smell it, imagine the pond wence it came. You're cured." He looked to the side. "Well...more like distracted really..."

Cole sat there and watched Elzario go to his room with curiousity. When he came back with a water lily blossom his eyes widened with amazement at it's beauty. Carefully Cole took it from Elzario and smelled it curiously. He pinned it to his shirt and looked at it for a moment. A slow smile spread across his face. He looked up at Elzario.

"Thank you. Perhaps your not as cold hearted as I thought you were," he said. He looked at him curiously when he looked away.

"Are you claustrophobic as well?" he asked. He tilted his head to one side.
