Username: 127devany127 Character Name: Pandora (yes, I realize the bat named Pandora perished in the book series; I thought this would add to the irony!) Age: 20 Appearence (pic if you got one): very dark brown hair that just grazes her shoulders, bright hazel eyes that seem to sparkle in the light, caucasian but healthy, glowing skin, and dark, full lips (maybe I could draw a picture later!) History: Pandora lives in the same apartment complex that Gregor did with an old lady that is like family to her. She needed a cheap place to stay after getting a part-time job to get out of the orphanage where she lived most of her life- her parents died in a car crash when she was seven. Personality: She has a very optimistic personality but sometimes it doesn't show- she has had a very hard life that has destroyed her once great, bubbly personality and became a shell of her former self (until she gets to the Underland, that is!) Other information: How she got to the Underland: "Take these with you, dear!" Ethel said to her as she was walking out the door, holding up her socks she had worn on her morning walk through Central Park. "Alright," Pandora answered, "I'll be back in an hour for lunch!" And with that, she headed for the stairs to get to the laundry room in the basement; she would have taken the elevator, but it was broken again. She descended the stairs to the laundry room and headed over to her usual washer and dyer- the ones in the far corner of the room. Pandora put down the full basket and started shoving the darks into the washer. As she was stuffing jeans into it, loose change she must have forgotton to take out clattered to the floor and scattered in every which way. She started to pick them up, noticing some went near a grate. She had noticed the grate before, but didn't really think anything of it until now. A quarter was right on the edge of it- when she leaned over to pick it up, she saw green mist floating out of the grate. "What in the world...?" Pandora thought as she leaned ever closer to the edge to see what could possibly be making the strange gas; and that's when she lost her balance and fell in.
