Description: A cute girl with pigtails, a puffy hat, wearing short overalls, tall stockings and red shoes.

Personality: A very upbeat and fun girl that likes to make new friends. Lyra is open to pretty much everyone, even if she is a little naive and tends to say stuff that she shouldn't. She likes cute things and shopping and guys that wear capes.

Bio: Lyra grew up in a very quiet town with her mom, and then one day, she kinda just got up and left because she was bored. She set off for adventure, where she crashed into Silver (see guy in picture) and they had a fight. But she never knew it would be love at first sight...

Together, Silver and Lyra ended up twarting an evil organization in their homeland and they started to continue their journey together around the world looking for new adventures.

Equipment: Her purse, her phone... In a fantasy RP, she's a basic squishy mage. In a normal RP, she's a casual high student. In a Pokemon RP, she's a Pokemon trainer with six super special awesome guys.

Age: 17

Description: A redheaded guy that wears mostly black or purple. What? What else can you say about him?

Personality: Silver used to be mean to everyone, but by being around Lyra, he really lightened up about a lot. Once he learned to love and receive someone's love, he became a bit more used to things. He blushes a lot when put on the spot, but he doesn't mean to be mean when he refuses politely someone's offer to chat. He's just not used to it yet.

Bio: Silver was abandoned as a kid by his father for "being in the way" and so he had to steal things to survive for a while. He was cold to people he came across, and the day that Lyra set out on her adventure, they crossed paths. Eventually, realizing they could use each other's help, they teamed up to thwart evil from taking over their homeland. After that, they set out together to have new adventures.

Equipment: Depends on the RP itself. In a fantasy RP, Silver is a swordsman. In normal RP, he's just a normal guy trying to get by. In Pokemon RP, he's just plain badass. XD

After careful reconsideration, I felt like I needed to make Kratos' profile all over again. I found better pictures to suit my needs, too.

AU Kratos Aurion
About 25 to 27-ish.

Depending on the RP itself, Kratos can come in many different forms. The most important thing being that he is always dedicated to Melodye/Ran/whatever name she happens to be going by at the time.

If the RP is set in present day, Kratos' got a normal desk job pushing paperwork. He is always dressed nicely, in slacks with a button up shirt with a color in darker colors. Kinda like this:



In a fantasy RP, Kratos retains the powers he had in the game he's from, Tales of Symphonia. He is a swordsman versed in all techniques of the world but weilds a broadsword and has a shield on one arm. He also knows basic magic, which makes him like a Red Mage by Final Fantasy standards. In a fantasy setting, he wears a cape, too.

Oh, I think this thread is in need of some SERIOUS revamping. I realize that my submissions for characters is nowhere near enough, but I want you guys to look at this application and explaination of character creation aspects, and then see what you can do to improve your characters. Please.

WHAT EACH PIECE MEANS:

Character needs your character's full name and nicknames.

Age is pretty obvious…

Gender is somewhat given.

Appearance must tell us how your character looks. Sending us a picture does not count! (Though that's helpful, along with a description.) This is to tell whether or not you're good at physical description. Just explain it to us as though we have no idea who your character is (which we probably don't! biggrin )

Personality tells us you know how your character acts, their general outlook on life, etcetera.

Weaknesses are a very important part of the application. If your character has no weaknesses or faults, they can't be a very interesting person, can they? This can apply to things that are physical, mental, etc. Remember, your character needs to be able to fail to be realistic and fun to roleplay with.

History is the one that tells us your character's background. Where they came from, where they want to go. What they're doing, and who was in their life before they came to whatever universe they'll be playing in. This is the big bad boy. Don't be afraid of this. You don't need to write a novel! There is a minimum, however: the history section must be at least two five-sentence paragraphs long.

The Sample RP Post is pretty obvious; you can put your character in any situation you want, just give us a good example of what you play like. Including dialog would be a good plus. This is one of the most important sections, as it shows us how you'll actually play the game. Be as detailed as possible, please.

And please, at the end of the application, answer 'Shoot for the moon' with 'Land among the stars' just so we know you read all this. razz

Address: Marseille, France - until about chapter two of AFC.
Race/Ethnic Background/Nationality: Parents of two ethnicities. Born in La Plata, Argentina. Raised in Buenos Aires.

Weight/Body Build: fit, but not a body builder.
Hair: Golden Brown, in the sun it looks gold. Shoulder length, semi curly at the ends.

Sexual Orientation/Values: Straight, but believes that everyone should be allowed to explore whatever they feel they need.
Type of car: None. Travels too much to have his own car. I guess his type of car would either be a taxi or a plane.
Views on Money/Spending Habits: likes to splurge on friends and family, but usually saves his extra money for travel expenses.
What is a normal day like for this character?: After waking up, he checks his computer to see where he is needed. He may go to a meeting with clients or book a transport to a meeting. He checks the newspapers for stocks. He then high tails it to wherever he needs to go based on requests from clients or current sales. By the end of the day, he ends up in another hotel somewhere, passing out after taking a shower and checking the results from that day.

~Health

Smokes: Not habitually, but he does have a taste for good cigars in social situations.
Health: Overall, very good health.
Drinks: Socially, yes. If someone is uncomfortable with drinking, he doesn’t mind not drinking, either.
Smell: A clean smell. He always smells like he just got out of a shower.
Physical disabilities: Not really.

~Habits & Mannerisms

Nervous Habits: Avoiding the situation, if possible. Stomach aches.
Usual Walking Style: A nice long stride, head held up, looking straight ahead.
Mannerisms: Calm, collected, but can get excited if the mood arises.
What type of clothes/shoes/accessories does he/she wear?: For work, suits and ties. When out as himself, denim jeans and button down shirts tend to be his usual style. He has comfortable black shoes that always look shiny that he prefers to wear most of the time.

Character's darkest secret: (MAJOR SPOILERS) Not only is he working against Jasper Fairess, but he’s working with Mae Fairess on the other side of the same coin. The Fairess family is eating itself alive, and Gabriel has fallen in love with the daughter of his enemy.
