[SRP] The Oceanside Cliff

[That One Halfling]

The half angel smiled, turning around to give Vic a rather passionate kiss to give him the answer as well as a thank you for his words before he had noticed the altar. Breaking this kiss, Moira smiled, "You're right...and yes this is it." as she turned back to the Altar before grabbing her husbands hand and dragging him towards it because he more than likely just wanted to stare at it for awhile, though as she stopped just in front of it, she tilted her head as she remembered something that she had been told.

"Have you ever noticed that a lot of things that happen to us happen in flashes of light?" Moira asked just above a whisper as she took out the candle she had brought to represent herself, her thumb running over it's pink-to-teal gradient surface.

Letting himself be dragged he couldn't seem to take his eyes off the alter until his wife spoke. Looking in her with silence he then thought to himself as he rubbed his chin. He had never thought about the reason behind that until now. "Not 'til now. Never cared actually or even tried questioning it. W...why do we?" He questioned then looked to the candle Moira was holding in her hand then looked back up to her. "Hell I don't know that much about us or really care unless I need ta know like right now." With that he took out his own candle, a shade of dark red that went to a grey and looked to it.

"It might be that what we go through is too..intense for this world to comprehend so it blinds those who could see it, even our own kind." She murmured before looking at Vic and smiling, before turning back to the Golden Altar that her 'biological' parents had come to ages ago to create her and Silas. Looking at the golden structure, she was actually in awe at how much detail was on a structure built out of seemingly solid gold seeing as it was not a very strong substance to build out of. Moving over to the female end of the alat, she ran a hand over the carving and sighed softly, taking a moment before setting her candle down.

Taking a step back, she waved her hand and called up a small chunk of eath and made a knife out of it, just sharp enough to cut hair with, before cutting a lock of her own pink hair and setting it in the bowl in the middle. Without a second thought she handed the knife over to Vic, smiling. She was going to warn her husband about the lightning, but that was his element and she herself was fairly well grounded so there was no threat of being zapped.

Walking up to the other side as he thought about what Moira it sort of made sense to him but did not comment back. He walked to the opposite side of where his wife stood thinking that was where he needed to be. He still didn't know much of what he was suppose to do and simply followed what Moira did. Putting his own candle down he took the knife that was handed to him and did the same as the other, cutting part of his blonde and brown hair. Placing his hair in the bowl then throwing the knife to the ground, thinking they no longer needed it. "What now?" The incubus asked as he looked to the bowl.

"We wait--" As Moira spoke there was a low rumble of thunder and small flashes of lightning and soon one 'stray' bolt hit the Altar, causing it to flash and the candles to light, their wax melting quickly and dripping down into the bowl with their hair. "Back up a bit, Hon, the light is going to show up again." she smiled as she herself took a step or two back and narrowed her eyes, watching the wax continue to drip before she closed her eyes and looked away, raising up an arm just in time to block the light from hitting her eyes as the wax and hair shone with a bright light, the light that always shone when a Meta was given an item.

Lowering her arm once the light had subsided, her eyes widened as she saw the wax moving, bubbling, and swirling to form a decently large egg. Not like the half-angel was expecting anything smaller, but it was still a rather large size. It was a rather strange egg, but it was also rather pretty as well. It was a mix of their two candles, the bottom and darkest color of the egg was a deep mahogany color that slowly faded to a soft, almost pastel teal, a perfect gradient with flecks of Amethyst-shade purples, golds, and sharp crimsons. "O-oh wow.." Moira whispered as she stepped forward, reaching a hand out to touch it, but withdrawing it for a moment and then finally resting her hand on it.

Instantly Vic's wings opened up defensively as the thunder rumbled and once lightening struck he took a step back. He was confused out of his mind. Was this suppose to happen? Though when he hear Moira tell him to step back he knew the answer to his question was a big fat yes. He of course did what Moira said and took a couple of more steps back, blocking his eyes with his wing. "S**t. I shoulda brought some shades," he said and nearly after the bright light came. He thanked god he had his wing to cover most of the light but even the light showed through his wing. He didn't remove his wing until he said the light loose it's brightness and when he did he noticed Moira moving closer then place her hand on it. Taking it that it was now safe he moved forward, folding his wings as he did. Grey eyes now glued to the egg the lay before him. It looked like a painting his brother had made and soon enough he found his own hand going to touch it as well. There before him, inside, lay his child or children to be. His heart fluttered and fingers tingled as he touched the egg. An odd smile came to him. He could not believe it if he wasn't touching it. It was their egg, his and Moira's egg.
 

[That One Halfling]

"Well..the easiest part is done." The half angel whispered before leaning in towards Vic and kissing him gently on the lips and then looking back down at the egg. Sighing happily, Moira carefully picked up the egg and held it close to her body, a smile on her face, "Now all we have to do is get home and not drop it." as she spoke, she looked up at her husband with a now wide grin. Her fear was now gone and even if they did end up with four kids, she was damn sure that she'd be a better parent than her two mothers combined.

"Good thing you're the one carryin' it then." The incubus chuckled, putting an arm around his wife then gently pet the egg. "Let's get our fine a**es home." He gave Moira a kiss on the top of her head before walking with his arm still firmly around his wife's shoulder.
 

[That One Halfling]

"Yeah." Moira smiled, walking along with him through the maze, the way out being quicker than the way in as if the place was congratulating them. She would have flown off, but she didn't want to risk dropping the egg, even if she did have a decent grip.
