What if our Quilutte boys weren't the only kind of shapeshifters out there? What if there was another breed of shapeshifters? Not a dog Pack, but a cat Clan?
Strange things have been going on around the reservation. The strange scent of mountain lion has been getting closer and closer. But these aren't normal mountain lions. They're bigger, stronger, and faster than the others. They're almost like the Pack. They move in strange patterns and they never attack. Our boys are nothing short of confused until one day, it happens.
The Clan is that of cats, mountain lions to be exact. They're strong, just as strong as the pack. They're something no one wants to mess with. They're maintaining a peaceful existance among the wolves until one day, something amazing happens.

Now the Clan wants to take Leah back to Arizona. But the Pack isn't giving up. Leah is one of them; she's their sister. They can't just let her go! In the end, the choice belongs to Leah. Will her choice end in with peace, or will someone be caught in the c r o s s f i r e?

▫◦▫◦Sienna was nothing short of bored. She had been in this dense forest for long enough. She wanted to actually do something. Preferably something along the lines of shopping and eating something that actually tasted good. Sienna was
sick and tired of eating fast food. Sienna wanted to sit down in some kind of restaraunt and eat some kind of meat by product! The mountain lioness yawned softly and sat down. She wrapped her tail around her paws gently and closed her eyes, trying to visualize herself no longer wanting food.
▫◦▫◦Sienna yawned softly, her jaws opening wide. Hello? Anyone out there? Laurie?' she called out within her mind. The she cat swished her tail back and forth gently before getting to her paws. The she cat yawned gently and licked her paws absentmindedly. 'Somebody do something!' the she cat screamed out. Sienna got to her paws and swished her tail around. Suddenly finding herself with nothing to do, the cat made her way over to the nearest tree and raked her claws down on it. Sure, someone would get pissed because she left her mark somewhere, but Sienna didn't mind. It felt good to stretch out her claws. Kept them sharp.
▫◦▫◦The bored she cat shook her head and walked around the tree almost four times. Why wasn't anyone doing anything? Where was Laurie anyway? She should've been somewhere around there. Sienna yawned once more and decided to lay down. Her soft tan underbelly touching the green, green ground, Sienna held back a purr. It felt really good. It was almost nothing like the Phoenix brush. It was so soft! So comfortable! 'Screw it! the she cat thought. Sienna let out a low purr as she rested her head on her paws. Terribly comfortable, Sienna breathed in and out slowly. If she wasn't careful, she might have drifted off.

‹——————————› ▒▒▒Laurie Cassie Taylor▒▒▒ ---♥Laurie sprinted through the forest, carefully dodging the trees and things that got in her way. She liked this place; the absence of the Arizona heat felt amazingly good. The chilled forest had already become like a home to her, and the scents were absolutely astonishing. Nothing like her old home. In the middle of her sprinting she came to an abrupt stop, her claws making thin trails in the sod. Sienna's thoughts of boredom now were constant, and though Sienna was her friend, Laurie had half a mind to smack her. With a slight mew, Laurie started moving now, in a very slow trotting gait.
---♥When she reached the middle of the forest, she stopped and sat down, blinking and then listening closely to Sienna's thoughts. I'm here, she thought, rolling her eyes. Now get up and stop resting. We're supposed to be patrolling and learning about the strange scents, not sitting around in moss purring like a car engine! Laurie growling very quietly once, knowing Sienna would be able to hear the slightly angry message, and hopefully she would straighten out. Royally, Laurie licked her paw once, then started walking forward again, her shoulders and legs moving in sink, looking like the glossy puma she was. Regal and cocky.
---♥Laurie moved slowly and gracefully, slipping in between trees and hopping over bushes, trying to get to the other side of the forest. Finally, she reached the outskirts where the trees thinned out, and began to walk even slower. When she finally stopped, her eyes widened and she began to back away. There was a huge wolf there, turned away from her luckily. This was something Laurie had definitely never seen. Quickly, she spun around and began dashing away from the animal. Everyone come here! I just ran into something that might be in our way! Her thoughts practically screamed to the pack. ‹——————————› |

▫◦▫◦Sienna's belt bristled gently. Though Laurie was her best friend, when she tried to be mature, Sienna got annoyed. Sienna wasn't one to be mature. The lioness got to her paws and bit at Laurie. 'You are absoloutly no fun at all. You know very well that I ran the night shift last night, so don't get all cocky and crap. I hvae the right to get tired. Sienna thought. She wrinkled her nose and her whiskers moved around gently as she did so. Sienna stretched out and straightened out her tail. Though the girl looked mature, she could be terribly immature at times.
The lioness yawned softly. She licked her paws one more time before she quickly stretched out her paws. Sienna took in a deep breath and began sorting out the scents in her mind. Leaves and pine trees were more obvious. But there was one particular scent that stood out to her. Sienna didn't like it. It was foreign, unknown. What was it? The she cat shook her large head, removing the thoughts from her mind.
▫◦▫◦She had decided not to dwell on it. Sienna took in a deep breath and sighed it out. She knew that she had to stay calm and that Laurie was right. At times she had to be mature. Hearing Laurie's thought, Sienna quickly followed her friend and began moving. Barely a tail length away from Laurie, Sienna stopped. 'That thing is huge! No way is it a normal wolf. she thought. Sienna was careful, and kept her paws as silent as possible as she moved back.

Jacob ◦ Stone ◦ Black
▬◦Jacob was running through the forest, as he was on patrol. There had been nothing to do earlier, and Jake had already sniffed out everything he could. Now, he was running through the forest--well not really in the forest, but now just reaching Forks. It was probably way to far out to be, but who cared anymore? After running miles, Jake found himself in Forks.
▬◦Jacob laid down on the ground, tired of running. He would just enjoy this little or big place until his patrol was over. It would waste time, and that seemed like all Jacob had. He lay down and then rested his head on his paws, drifting off a little. There was some tusling around, but Jacob had no care in the world right now, maybe just to drift.
▬◦After what seemed like a half hour, Jacob opened his eyes to see two mountain lions in front of him. They were big than usual ones, and Jacob stood up, ready to fight. They seemed like a good fight, especially since they were bigger than the average. But there were two... so maybe it was not such a food idea to try and fight off two big mountain lions when there was only one giant wolf (him). He sat there, sending out thoughts to some of the wolves. Hey guys, come here... i'm in the forest. Two huge mountain lions in front of me...

▬▬►Paul sighed, knowing it was his turn to join Jake on the patrol shift. Turning he yelled towards the others, "One of you others better follow me. Jacob has to leave shift soon, which means I need somebody to patrol the other side." As he started walking away casually, he just barely heard Seth volunteer and go the other way. Quickly, he began shuffling down hill, going towards the usual tree that he shifted behind. But this time, he realized there would be no time to shift. Towards the outskirts of the forest, was Jacob's wolf form and two mountain lions the size of bears.
▬▬►Gasping, he jumped, shifting immediately. His clothes ripped at the seams and fell to the ground, as he landed on the ground. As a wolf, he was larger than all the others, and luckily bigger than the mountain lions, with thick, dark grey fur. When he gained his balance, he began to stare the lions down. Growling, he took a step forward, trying to scare the animals away. Though, they were about Jake's size, meaning they might not scare so easily like he wanted them to. Maybe this would just turn into a fight.
▬▬►Paul turned to Jacob, his lips poised at his gums to show a good view of his sharp set of teeth. What are they? Other shifters? Her thought to Jacob, feeling stressed. Then he realized Seth was shifted. Get over here! He yelled in his thoughts to the other wolf, then turned back to Jacob. Did they try to attack you? With his teeth still showing, he turned towards the mountain lions and turned his head down, trying to intimidate them the best he could.

Seth ↔ Jesse ↔ Clearwater
→Seth watched as Paul started to walk away for the beginning of his shift, saying another wolf had to start also. "I'll do it," he volunteered, standing up with his hands in his pockets. When he saw Paul keep walking, he nodded once and then went the opposite way of him, ready to shift and meet him in the middle. Swiftly, he began to run, stopping himself just before hitting and tree, and then slipping behind it so that he could wrap his clothes around his ankles and shift.
→Finally, a chocolate brown wolf-Seth himself of course-began doing his patrol rounds, ignoring the thoughts of the others until he couldn't any longer. Suddenly, Paul's voice screamed loudly at him, telling him to stop whatever he was doing and meet them where they were. Nodding, he turned. I'll be right there, guys. Then he started racing until he was at the top of the hill. The huge form of Paul and slightly smaller form of Jacob was there, one dark grey and one red tinted. It was obvious which was which by the way they acted: you could hear Paul growling from the top of the hill he was on.
→Seth looked down at them, his brown eyes only slightly exhausted, but still somehow ready for action. I'm here guys, he thought sarcastically, Now where's the fire? Grinning with his tongue lolling out, Seth slowly started down the hill, at something considered a fast walk but a slow trot. Maybe his lively spirit would start to rub off on aggressive Paul and uptight Jacob. Finally, he met them and stood just behind them. Now that was why Paul was growling. There were three huge mountain lions, that were obviously shifters, though Seth didn't know you could shift into anything except for a wolf. But there was just one problem: all he did was stand staring at one of them, slightly phased.

▫◦▫◦Sienna's large eyes narrowed at the wolves. Two of them already? She carefully assessed all three of them. Only the largest of them seemed like the largest threat. He was the only one who seemed like he'd be willing to fight if it came down to it. She lioness hissed at him, a simple response to his growl. It was instant that Sienna decided that she wasn't going to like that guy. She listened carefully to Beta's thoughts. 'You tell me, Mister. You're the one who told us to come here, so we decided to explore. We wandered into their territory.' the she cat thought out to him.
▫◦▫◦Sienna stayed on her haunches, ready to spring into battle if nessecary. Her claws slid gently out, and tried to relax. 'It's not my fault if they get pissy just because we make an honest mistake. They can bite my tail for all I care. she thought out to Beta once more. Sienna decided against moving back, but stood her ground. No way would she look weak in front of these guys. No way at all. When the last wolf arrived at the top of the hill, Sienna furrowed her brows.
▫◦▫◦Something was different with this one. Something that Sienna liked, but couldn't understand. Somehow, she couldn't move right. Her paws didn't work. Sienna tried her best to ignore it and sunk her claws into the ground. The lioness took in a deep almost shuddering breath. She had decided not to budge, not to date moving. Sienna didn't think she could anyhow. Somehow, Sienna knew that they might actually need to talk this out instead of tooth and clawing at it. She was suddenly grateful for the clothes on her left hind leg. Sienna shook her leg gently before looking from wolf to wolf a few times.

‹——————————›▒▒▒Laurie Cassie Taylor▒▒▒---♥Laurie hissed at the two wolves, turning just as Beta appeared and walked in front of them. We didn't do anything but follow you're orders. You can't seriously blame us. We're tired you know. There's only four of us, and lately it's mostly been us three. All of the work can't only lie on our shoulders. With a sneer at Beta, Laurie whipped around and batted at the grey wolf, only for him to back up and for her to just barely miss. Wonderful. So their reflexes were just as quick as the clan's. Angrily, Laurie roared at the two of them.
---♥When footsteps began to sound on the hill, Laurie looked up, watching another wolf appear. No! There can't be more! Laurie roared again, trying to get past the first to wolves and attack the new one: he was the smallest, maybe the least of a challenge. Obviously he was the youngest, as Sienna was theirs. And one less of these wolves might help their clan have a better chance at fighting. But of course, the wolves blocked her from passing, so she backed up again, rearing like a horse at them in the process.
---♥Within moments, the little brown wolf that she had tried to get to took his place behind them, and took a long look at all three mountain lions, before his gaze rested on Sienna. And then didn't move from her. And vice versa. Wonderful, what was happening here? Sienna! She yelled, hissing and trying to get the puma's attention. Look at me! Why are you and that dirty wolf shifter having some kind of completely screwed up staring contest? Stop!‹——————————› |

▫◦▫◦The scream in her head made Sienna's ears ring slightly. The lioness let out a very, very faint whimper before a growl made it's way to her face. She bared her teeth, still on her haunches ready to spring. There was no reason to freaking do that!! Sienna yelled back at Laurie. Sienna shook her head, trying in vaing to clear it. The she cat decided against going fo r a frontal attack. It'd be a stupid thing to do, considering that their reflexes were as quick as theirs. It'd be a waste of time and a waste of effort.
▫◦▫◦Sienna stayed on her haunches, ready to spring into battle if nessecary. She sheathed and unsheathed her claws as thoughts raced through her mind on what she should do. What could she do? The other half of the pack was back in Arizona. They'd know what to do if Michelle were there, but Sienna quickly placed those thoughts out of her mind. The lioness tried to keep her eyes and her mind off of the small brown wolf on the hill.
▫◦▫◦She moved back and began walking. Her paws gently crunched down on leaves and a few twigs as she moved. She stopped a few tail lengths away from the rest of the Clan and let her tail fall down onto the ground. Though Sienna was unafraid, it didn't mean that she wasn't nervous. She was terribly nervous. Though she wasn't shaking and it didn't show on her outside, it might've shown on the inside. Something made Sienna feel strange when she looked at that other small brown wolf. It made her heart beat a little faster and frankly, Sienna liked it. She pushed the thoughts down into the pit of her stomach and blinked her large green eyes, ready to do whatever needed to be done.

Jacob ◦ Stone ◦ Black
▬◦Jacob looked to his right as he saw the leader--or so he thought--arrive. That made Jake think of where Sam might be, but he wasn't going to worry about that right now. He then noticed that Seth had arrived and stood behind them. Jacob was still standing there, deciding on what to do. There really was nothing they should be doing, especially fighting. Technically, if Sam was here, they would try and resolve the problem. And if Jake asked the guys, Paul would say let's fight, but Seth on the other hand, would say no. So, there was the problem right there.
▬◦As Jacob stood and watched the mountain lions, he couldn't help but notice one of them seemed to be staring at... Seth? It was odd, but Jake just looked on. They were really not going anywhere with this, and Jacob had already examined the lions/lionesses, so there was really no point in standing there. Jacob turned to Paul. So are we going to just stand there? Seth would surely hear the thought too, but it was mostly pointed toward Paul. He waited for Paul to maybe start the fight, but then again, Paul may have changed his thoughts about fighting... that would be a first.
▬◦Jake looked down at his paws and started scratching at the ground. He would get his claws nice and dirty for this fight. When he got home Nessie might make him wash his hands, but for now he would get down and dirty. As for the fight that might take place, Jacob gave up on it, and walked behind a tree. He morphed back into human form, and quickly pulled his shorts on. This would be the time to try and talk to whoever was in charge, since they obviously weren't going to fight.
