Maverick opens his messenger bag, searches for a couple of seconds, finds a Fancy Lad's cake and snacks on it

nik opens his helmet and starts snacking on some yao guai jerky he made earlier, it gave him some more enargy for the trip ahead

*Dutch looked at the outline of the Citadel before turning back to Dom* "Rico over there wants to assault the most defended area in the Capital Wastes." *Dutch fiddled with an onboard radio, trying to get his music to play* "And I'm here to make sure he gets out. You want to help?"

Rico zipped up the final piece of his custom leather armor and sheathed his Katana and took a 9mm pistol (the New Vegas one, i know what im doing) in his left hand with two clips on his chest ready to speed load.

Rico took a few steps to Dutch and leaned down,

"got any pulse grenades? That sentry bot takes to many bullets...." he muttered in his ear.

nik played a song on his radio to pass the time, it felt like a good time to listen to this song anyways, but he usually reserved it for when he was in a fight for his life, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoOl8LjxMFs it was a fitting song he often played with other members of the followers of the apocalypse as well. especially when he was drinking them under the table

*Dutch turned to Rico before handing him his only Pulse Grenade* "Use it carefully. You'll only get one chance at that bot." *Dutch loaded his gatling laser and sealed his helmet, anticipation already brewing for the fight that was about to happen*

"Yeah like I'd miss a good fight!" Dom said as he revved his ripper bayonet with a grin.

"Then let's do this. I want to go down in history already." *Dutch stood up from their hiding place and began strolling down to the Citadel's main gates, relying on his dulled gray power armour to offer some confusion for the gate guard*

Rico slid in the holo-tape with "wont back down!" and pressed play, and the double-bass started, and P!NK and Eminem started beasting through the speakers of the Vertibird.

Rico clenched the pulse grenade and leaned to Dutch as they walked slowly to the door,

"Take your helmet off if you go inside before we start shooting, otherwise, you and Dom can breach the doors and expect me to use Lyons as a sheild...." Rico finished and clicked the button on the grenade and held it down, raised his pistol to the un-helmeted guard and fired a single round, blasting brain matter onto the intercom.

The sentry bot went to retaliate with a burst of Laser fire, but Rico was a step ahead with the grenade smashed in the control panel before it got to turn around.

The blast of EMP shattered the frame of the bot, but kept it inside its componets and it fell over firing the missile launcher at the only other guard, gibbing him into oblivion.

Rico made a mad dash at the door, seeing the the Lone Wander walk out of the door and wave.

"Run! The NCR will kill you if you dont get out of here!" Rico shouted, hoping the others on the inside would here, but hell with it.

Rico made it to the door, and turned to see Dom and Dutch catch up to talk over their plan....
