[Hoshigiri]

Noa looked over to the younger looking boy. She was fairly sure she didn't like his tone, but let go of the gun in her pocket anyways before letting her arm fall to her side. Then she stood with her arms crossed, most of her weight favoring one leg over the other as she continued to stare at the boy, her eyes narrowing. He still hadn't put his gun away.

Yup, so far she definitely didn't like him.

He spoke again...something about a "living hell." It sounded somewhat like a threat and warning rolled together. What was it, gang wars, a secret mafia, drug dealer wars? Noa was tired of these things constantly popping up in her life. She had that running feeling again in the pit of her stomach.

She watched cautiously as the boy finally put away his gun. He seemed a bit perturbed and just like that he ran off. Noa wasn't sure what to think of that. She glanced over at the other girl and for a split second they shared a mutual moment.

She had nothing left to lose.

Noa followed after the boy, as he twisted and turned through the rubble of the city. She had to duck down a few times, or climb over piles of collapsed roofs, but eventually they reached what she assumed was their destination.

It didn't look pretty. She may not be an architect or qualified to say so, but Noa was fairly sure this building wasn't stable.

She went in anyways.  

[Sullen Miken]

Kaidan walks in and hears one of the girls enter behind her. "Oh, so you did decide to show up. I'd start preparing right away. Get whatever you need and get ready to leave." Kaidan starts walking around the room to make sure the makeshift columns are holding up. He checks his pistols ammunition and grabs an extra clip. He goes over to a dresser and starts throwing some emergency supplies together. He walks to the back of the room and grabs a knife, strapping it to his thigh. "So, I'm guessing that you're here because you're either not scared of the hell this place is, or you're stupid... or both." He walks to a corner next to a column and lifts up a door in the floor. He goes down inside it and grabs something from the shelves and goes back up; shutting the door behind him and covering it with dirt. He looks at his watch and notices they stil have time. "You have any questions before we leave?"

"I have a couple question; like, who are you? Why are you here? What is this place anyway, and what do you mean if I'm a 'demon' of course I'm a human, demons don't exisit." Ai shirked coming into the building with the others. She crossed her arms tapping her foot on the ground waiting for an answer. "I have knifes already, but I better get a gun of some sort, have any?" She asked, 'I guess that ends my long stertch of questions.' She thought, letting her hands drop to her sides, "So, I gotta ask, is everyone here for, you know...." She almost couldn't get the words from her lips" Murder." She said, flinching at the word, she hoped she wasn't the only one; she needed to be able to be trusted, but she could pull a lie out of the hat if she needed.

Lilluim held the gold watch in her hand, it was now 11:57, "One more minute." She said with an evil chuckle. She ran her finger agasint her weapon, leaving a long stream of blood on it, "As sharp as ever." She said with a small laugh. 'I'll have my fill of fun to night, all the blood shed.' She thought with an evil smirk on her lips.

It was now the awaited time, 11:58 P.M. Lilluim stood from her chair, and rushed the the gates that led to the human world, 'Look out humans.'

The trip there was short, in seconds she was the city, "Come out, come out where ever you are." She said, letting the watch go bacn and forth on it's chain, "Tonight, is the night for killing, the blood will be shed across the plain. The humans will scream and terror, as I have my fun." She sang as she walked threw the streets, the song almost a whisper, but bone chilling to anyone who heard it.

Kaidan looks at Ai with a neutral expression. "I am Kaidan Yoshihiro, and no, not everyone comes here for murder. I am here because I am one of the few skilled enough to manage to survive against 'them'. There are others but the gorup gets smaller every day, so be on your guard. When I said demon, I was talking to the one who was reaching for her weapon inside her jacket," Kaidan motions toward the other girl. "Yes, I do have a gun you can use, but you'd better be a good shot or it will get you no where."

Kaidan goes back into the cellar, grabs a gun and two clips, and returns to the surface, shutting and covering the door with dirt. He tosses the gun and ammo to Ai. "That will have to do for now."

"Now, this place is one of my collapsable shelters. I can use the makeshift collumnsto destroy it at any time, especially if one of 'them' is in here. By the way, if you don't believe in demons, I suggest you start real fast, cause it only gets worse from here on in. A real 'bloody hell'." Kaidan shivers from a memory of the situation. He looks at his watch and notices the time. Damn, its already time. We'll have to move fast to keep away from them. "Let's go. Stay on your guard, and don't ever stop moving. If you do, I won't wait cause you'll be dead before I turn around.

Kaidan start to walk out the door, "And don't try to pull a fast one on me; it hasn't work yet, and I don't plan on letting it happen now. Follow me." Kaidan starts running out into the street, stopping to peek around every corner along the way. He pulls a grenade out and tosses it behind them. It lands and starts pouring out a dense cloud of red smoke.

Noa stifled a sigh. This was a lot of come and go. It almost seemed too troublesome. How did she even know if she could trust this guy? And what was this about demons? It was beyond believable. Either way, this...Kaidan guy or whatever didn't give her much time to respond.

She glanced over at Ai. And this girl...she mentioned something about murder. Her expression was a mixture of things and a little hard to read, but Noa at least knew the girl seemed hesitant to name her crime. It was almost pitiable, but understandable.

Of course I have my own problems to worry about.

She may not so far like this guy, but he seemed to know what was going on around here. He mentioned being a survivor. That was something she could appreciate. And at the very least, one thing he said made perfect sense to her.

"Don't ever stop moving," she repeated under her breath, almost as a mantra to herself.

She didn't plan on it. She checked her gun, finally taking it out of its pocket and readying it. Just in case these 'demons' stalking them ever decided to show. It was better to be safe than sorry. Once she was mentally prepared, she stepped outside into the unknown, following the only boy that may or may not be the key to her survival in this dead land.

"I'm Ai, I don't know you two, and you won't find out my last name til I do." Ai said, she took the gun from Kaiden. The ominous felling was creeping into her stomach, making it flip over. Is he crazy?' She thought, 'Talking about demons, maybe he's the one who’s killing all the people, I don't really have time for doubts, he seems to know what he's doing but, I'll have to retreat fast if he's actually insane.' She nodded to herself. In this city you didn't know what to trust, and how was it she was following someone she had never met in her whole life, 'Desperate times call for drastic measures.' She sighed.

Lillium dragged her weapon along the cracked pavement, when the smoke starting flying into the night sky. "Fools." She hissed. Moving quickly, she jumped to a higher point, on one of the tall buildings. "Now where are you?" She asked herself, holding her hand over her eyes. She spotted the smoke from the east of where she was standing.

She leaped off the building. She started with a small sprint to the smoke, singing her bone chilling song.

Kaidan runs behind the nearest building and watches around the corner as a demon approaches the smoke grenade. She fell for it. He slips on a glove and pushes a switch by his wrist; triggering a pitfall trap beneath her. He unholsters his gun and steps out from his hiding place and trains his gun on the pit area.

"I wouldn't come out if I were you." Kaidan takes a few steps forward, "I've been waiting for you, Lillium. So why don't you tell me who you're looking for before I have to kill you, and I wouldn't recommend trying to escape. You've got no chance against me."  

[Hoshigiri]

Noa kept running, when she heard the sound of something collapsing. She didn't stop to look, but she became curious when Kaiden suddenly stepped out, gun up. She could only guess who this Lillium was. Maybe it was better not to find out. Noa ran around a few empty crates and ducked down behind a pile of garbage cans, the grafitti drawn on them already fading from time. From her position she could see the smoky area, but just to make sure her gun was out and her legs were ready to run at any indication of danger.

Kaidan whispers to the two that followed him, "If I die, don't even hesitate to run."

Ai followed after Noa. 'There's no way I'm dying now!' She thought, running as fast as her legs could carry. Despite her apperance, she was a pretty good runner, ecspecially in sitiations that ment life or death, she knew what was the time to run, or the time to fight.

Lillium's eyes become slits of red. "You damned human, you think you can posablly kill me with an earthly weapon? I'm not here for any one in particular, I'm just here for the kill." She said with a glint of sceame in her eye. "Your a fool, leading me right to you; for this will be the last time you stand in this city, ALIVE!" She shouted. Taking her war scythe, gripping it tightly in her fists.

She lept into the air, coming down on the human. Her cape flew off as she did so. 'This will be fun.'

 

[Hoshigiri]

It's hard to tell what happened next. Quite simply, Noa panicked. She saw the flash of this woman...if she could be called that, coming down. 1-2-3-4 shots were fired. Wide-eyed Noa saw the smoke rising from her gun as the realization of what happened fully hit her. She had no time to curse her own actions, just enough to will her legs to turn around and run.  

[Sullen Miken]

Kaidan chuckles at her comment. "What makes you think this is an earthly weapon? Besides, don't you think I wouldn't have done this if I was really afraid of you? I've killed demons before and I narrowly escaped you last time. So now it's your to die." Kaidan flips another switch on his glove which activates his gun. He dodges out of her approaching jump and attaches something to his gun. He pulls it up and fires off five shots, then activates the attached device which fires a net. He whips out another grenade and tosses it upward, throwing smoke pellets on the ground covering his retreat into an alleyway. Kaidan whispers again as he runs past the other two, "Let's go!" Kaidan starts running full speed down the alley.

Ai heard the many gun fires, bringing up bad memories, her legs started to carry her faster, she didn't even turn bac kto wait for the others. Tears were streking her face, 'WHy?' Was the only word that came to mind.

Lillium gaged as the smoked filled her lungs. "You----Damn---Human." She curesed. As the smoked cleared she cleanched onto her war scythe, "YOU HUMANS WILL DIE TONIGHT, IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!!" She yelled, loud enough that probably the whole city could hear, if their was was a whole city to hear it. She grunded her teeth as she ran after them, "I won't let you get away this time."

 

[Sullen Miken]

"I don't think so," Kaidan yells as he rounds the next corner. He runsdown another alley and grabs the last three grenades from his pouch. He pulls the pin and tosses them in different directions, then he ducks inside a nearby building hoping the others saw him go inside.

Noa only barely saw Kaiden from her peripheral vision. She thought it was probably a good idea for them all not to hide in the same exact area. She kept running, barely passing the building, choosing to follow it around and entering from a back door.
