Where do you purchase Yuri?

Well, I'm not exctly sure where you live but I passed by Ni-chōme a few time and I did see this small shop that sold mainly yuri books/anime, fan made books, posters, and etc. Though I'm not 100% sure if it's still there.

There's usually a small selection in the Borders where I live but I went into an f.y.e. and they had quite a large yuri anime section for all ages which surprised me.

Borders sells it! It's much more liberal than Barnes and Noble, I think, and it carries more queer-oriented magazines and such, too. Actually, I'm not sure I've ever seen gay stuff in Barnes and Noble? But I'm sure I've found a bunch at Borders, possibly because I'm at Borders more often.

If you can't find it in-store, you can actually order it online from Borders.com. I think also, if your Borders store doesn't carry the book in stock, you can order it to be shipped to your local store for free on the online site. It just comes in with their next shipment of books and doesn't cost a thing, and you can pick it up from behind the counter next time or something. Or, you can ask them in-store to place the order for you.

A lot of yuri doesn't look very explicit from the outside, either, so unless you're buying adult materials (which I don't think they carry much of, if they do), it shouldn't be too much of a problem to be found out, I think?

I purchase my Yuri off the internet, like i do all my mangas/anime.

No bookstores round here. :'c

Try checking the Seven Seas website. They are the ones who translate yuri manga like Strawberry Panic and distribute it to the U.S.

I can't buy much yuri since I don't find it in local bookstores but I do find a lot of good manga/anime on the Internet. OwO

Sometime Barnes and Noble has yuri stuff, but you have to double check if it's in-store.

Borders DEFINITELY had a variety of manga and anime. Unfortnately, Borders went bankrupt this year and merged with Barnes and Noble. sweatdrop

You could try Dynasty-Scans if you want a variety of online manga to read at your leisure.

ughhdnklda it would be SO AWESOME if there were yuri/yaoi bookstores that sold all things yuri/or yaoi. That'd be like paradise. 4laugh heart

It seems harder and harder to even find yaoi, and that at least briefly dominated the manga section at our local bookstore. So sad.

When I lived in my old town in Arizona there was this book shop that would order stuff for me and they were able to find a site that had tons of Yuri related materials...Then we moved. T.T

Anyway, at the con I go to in Denver, Co. Some of the dealers there have nice sections of both Yaoi and Yuri. They are based on nothing but things like that. So I can get my fix every year! =^..^=

I'll keep looking online to see if I can find somewhere, if I do, I will post it here. ^^ 3nodding
