The Paperback Writer

"Dear sir or madam, will you read my book?
It took me years to write, will you take a look?"

Since the late eighties, CDs have dominated the music market over the vinyl record, something that eight-track tapes and cassettes failed to do. And with the internet, music has become much easier to purchase, sometimes for free. Singles are rarely released anymore, and if they are, it is usually in the form of a music video. This isn't a flame thread, I just honestly want to know.

Who here still listens to vinyl records?
I'm a record collector, so of course I do, but not exclusively. Anyone else?

and I need a job, so I want to be a paperback writer..."

I have only a few vinyls that I got from my uncle, but I don't really listen to them.

I mostly listen to CDs.

I have a lot of tapes I find at old second hand music stores and op-shops.

I record a lot of music which means a lot of CDs are listened to.

I work at a radio station which a lot of radio is being listened to razz
