Welcome to the Haunted Music Box. This is a bar where hidden talents of the musical sort rise. A place where bands are born and stars start to rise.

This is a literate, music-based roleplay. See rules below in order to apply. Anyone may apply, and most will probably be accepted! Even if it does look a little forbidding and strict.

Character profiles will be on display here. The topic will be locked, so don't try to post in it.

I am this RP's god. For those of you who play D&D, I am the dungeon-master. All problems, requests, applications, or anything else come to me in a PM labeled "Haunted Music Box".

5) This is a literate roleplay. No txt talk, no l33t, no misspellings or bad grammar. For those of you who use Firefox, use the spell check it so graciously offers you!!!
6) Romance is allowed, but please keep it pg-13.
7) Roleplay your own character ONLY! Don't try to take control of another roleplayer's character in order to get your own storyline across. It's very rude.
8 ) I don't mind cussing, but keep it minimal. I always say it isn't necessary to say something's f***ing awesome. You could just as easily say it's mushroom awesome!
9) When you're talking OOC (Out Of Character, for new roleplayers), use {{These}}, ((These)), [[These]], or something along those lines, so I know that you're talking OOC.
10) No god-moding, flaming others, killing (except with permission from me AND the person you intend to kill) or committing suicide (again, except with permission from me)
11) All applications MUST be sent by pm to me, Irako of the Desert. In order to be accepted,The subject must contain the words "Great Manga" and an emote. Yes, there is a reason for this little dot way over here. Use your mouse to highlight and check.

Allen walked around his house alone nobodey was thear just him 'i kinda miss them...' he thaght walking to the front door he glimpsed at his Piano then to his keybord on the desk and sighed he put his shoe's on and walked out he door 'what shall i do today?' he thaght runing a hand threw his blue hair

Zellon stepped outside, it began to snow a little, one flake fell on his nose. Lucky i have my jacket on i suppose he didn't smile, he was saddened by the news he got from the doctor earlier.

Zellon, your eye, i have good and bad news. The good news is, your eye is healing, the bad news is, that it is still in need of repair, you will not be able to remove those bandages for another 2 years according to the report, i'm sorry

Zellon thought long and hard to himself as he walked to the bar. The Haunted music box, it's the place where i work, the place where i perform, the place where i...... he was still walking when he finally reached the sidewalk to the bar. Another day, another set of people i suppose he walked up the driveway to the door, and went in

Allen desided to go to the bar whear he spends his time 'well i had to go thear eneyways...' he thaght walking down the side walk ignoring the the fackt that it was snowing now and the cold brezz he walked into the bar he sighed and went over to the piano he always played on and started playing some key's

Zellon was cleaning the cups, he was the bartender after all, when he heard the piano start playing, he began to sing along with the keys that were being played.

Not a half bad melody, i barely get shifts in here, and i've never heard you play, what's your name fella. he said as he kept humming

Allen smiled and kept playing "Thanks...im Allen but some pepole hear call me Al...and you are?" he sead trying not to sound shy his yellow eyes shifted to the boy

Zellon smiled. I'm Zellon, i'm the barkeep every Monday, Wednesday, friday, satruday, and sunday til 5. he kept his smile and went back to washing cups and mugs. I also sing and play flute here from time to time for a little more info on me

Allen smiled and stoped playing "nice to meet you Zellon...i onley come hear when im bord and when i got time to..." he sead siting down

Tori was left to pick up the closing shift at the record shop she worked, even though she opened that day too. She took her time with the arduous task of stocking all the cds. Once she was finished with it, she grabbed her bag and her keys. She locked the door to the shop and meandered out to her small, beat up car. It was pouring rain, so Tori rushed to get inside.

"Just make it home.... That's all I'm asking." She said to her car as she sat in the driver's seat, hesitating to turn the key in the ignition. She took a deap breath, turned the key and let her breath go in a heavy sigh of relief when her car started.

She began the drive home, avoiding the main roads, because main roads are always scary when one's car stalls.
Her attention drifted for only a moment, when the front wheel sped over a deep pot hole, tearing the tire with a loud pop and making her scream.

"DAMNIT!" She yelled as she hit the steering wheel in frustration. She kicked the door open and got out. She walked over to the nearest building, ignoring the sign and going in.

It was the Haunted Music Box.

She walked over to the bar, ignoring her surroundings. Tori was tired, frustrated and soaking wet.

"Hi, sorry to bother you, but I got a flat tire just outside here.... could I borrow your phone or something please?" She asked.

Zellon smiled at what Al said, he then noticed the other person coming inside, he immediately grabbed a dry towel, and said to her. Phone's near the bar he then put the towel around her, Man first snow, now rain, what's next he laughed and went back over behind the bar.

Allen looked at the girl 'havent i seen her before...' he thaght he looked back to Zellon "ill just have sprite...not much of a alcohol drinker..." he sead with a laugh he looked back at the girl "poor girl..." he sead to himself he hated seeing pepole like that it was a weakness he shut his eyes and sighed 'i hope it isint a thunder storm...' he thaght looking back at Zellon

"Thanks so much, you're a life saver!" She said with an honest smile. Tori used the towel to dry the ends of her hair so it wouldnt drip all over the floors. She went over to the phone and dialed to her garage, the only one in town she could afford. It was busy. She hung up and tried again. Still busy.
She placed the phone back and stared at it for a moment with a hopeless look on her face.
