[Claude Faustus]

"General Masaya, you are needed here to over see the defenses. I will go, I can fly faster then you can ride." Draken said, one wing twitching slighlty.
Grant squinted over the wall. "They will also have crossbows Draken, arrows that fly far and high."  

[Toli Bera]

"That is more sensible..." he had to submit to what Draken directed. he pulled from his pocket a collapsible telescope to look out from the wall. "How long do we have?" he asked before ralizing he couldn't see anything new with the telescope put it away.  

[Claude Faustus]

"They are moving faster then expected, an hour or so before sundown." Draken peered up at the sun, "I'm going to go back and see how far along the road the main army is. Masaya....." He was about to say 'good luck' but thought against it, " ....hold them off till Sabyien get here."  

[Toli Bera]

Masaya nodded. "We shall do our duty. good fortune to you Draken." he saluted the man looking obviously concerned.

Draken opened his wings and flew northwards.

Kalim appeared, walking out of the tower door, he looked over the wall at the dark line at the horizon. "The southern barbarians are utter fools."  

[Toli Bera]

"The army... or your rival general?" a voice asked from the doorway behind him. one of the female soldiers, as rare as they were, stood well within earshot of the general.
