I'm from the Summit Skyhawk Marching Regiment/Concert Band in Fontana, CA. We were a band of about 62 this previous season and this upcoming one (since it's summer vacation) we will have over 80. Our school has only been here for about 5-6 years and yet we've wiped out whole comps and beaten bands who have been around longer. And it's all thanks to our wonderful director who's gotten us through some tough times in the band, at the school, and even throughout the whole district. We owe a lot to him and I'm looking forward to another two successful years (I graduate in 2013).

hi. I am maggie. I play the cello and am in a junior high orchestra. my concert uniform is a very long black skirt, a tuxedo shirt,a bowtie and cummerbun.I am in the phillharmonia orchestra.our orchestra is very good (i think so) my school has 4 other orchestras beside my own and my teacher is amazing. we have many trophys (mostly uil though).
I play the flute in my school concert band (first chair, three years in a row~). We do not have a uniform because our school is very small (our music programs in general aren't that great). But we are like a family. Everyone knows each other and our band teacher has an epic mustache. Our first competition of the year is tomorrow!
