Suggestions...

Ahem, since the Staff Discussion forum is apparently U/C, I might as well post this here. Feel free to delete it whenever.

ANYWAYS

I was thinking about this guild, and got actually quite a few ideas for it that I thought would help get it running. I used to be Vice Captain of Kigatsuyoi before my Ciel account, and learned the hard way how guilds flourish and how they die.

SO

Maybe the following things could be added to the guild just to get us started until we actually move the original role play here.

• Role plays branching off the original.
  -------For example, we could take the scene to a whole other place, other characters, etc. Or maybe we could have a role play between certain characters, like Reks/Kyrie, Azzy/Kervein, Quinn/Charlotte, etc. Just stuff like that. Branching off the original, but with a little bit of new stuff and creativity here and there.
  
  
• RP's with NEW PLOT! I think this guardian/adept thing could be brought to something more than just a war between good vs. evil, train the adepts, Azzy kill people, etc, etc. We could get a romance going, a conflict between people on both sides of the war (For example Quinn and Azreal, who were good friends before), a hunt for one particular adept, an adept gone evil, a demon gone good, aaaand, I'll post more ideas later. I should really write these down, because I always forget them before I come here.
  
  
• A simple thread to literally 'play' with our characters. In the ooc thread, we often have our little acts with our characters doing funny things with each other (Not in perverted ways, mind you). For example, my three boys always fighting over the girls, as most of you have seen. We could have a thread that's completely IC (In character) for that just for the fun of it.
  
  
• Contests!
  ---------With donations and such to the guild (After all we role play, I'm sure some of us can spare just a lil' gaian gold), we could hold writing contests, art contests, etc. once we get enough people. These can be a blast, especially when centered around a story that we all know we're infatuated with (Doi, Shades of Grey!) Just a thought, although these things take quite a bit to run. Might need to wait for the guild to develop more before this.

Those are some good ideas, and thanks for making a thread for this. smile One thought I have is that since we now have our own form for rping, we could break it into plot lines. Each thread would be a different plot line, so that way we wouldn't have a single thread that's hundreds of pages long, but several threads that are 20-40 pages long. That way if you want to remember something that you said earlier, it would be easier to find.

I personally like the idea of a thread for just playing with characters. We already do it in Ooc, so we could make it a sub-form, since we haven't used most of them.

If I look at this, we actually have three plot lines:

Savehouse 1
(Sarah, Kyrie, Shinta, Deneesha, Alexander, Alice, Takeo)

Savehouse 2
(Reks, Quinn, Flynn, Charlotte)

Demons 1
(Azrael, Kervein)

Demons 2
(Hayate)


Hope I did get all... are there other plotlines, which are now laying on ice since one or more gaians playing chars in it went missing? If I get it right, the group "Savehouse 1" is taking a nap, "Savehouse 2" is heading to "Savehouse 1", "Demons 1" is aiming for "Savehouse 2", especially for Quinn and Hayate's "Demons 2" is rampaging somewhere in the city while holding a grudge against "Savehouse 1", resp. Shinta.

I would like to make some of my favorit characters having short guest appearances. It actually wont hit the story itself and it wont be any longer than one, maybe two posts ^^ Maybe you wont even notice them.

I think that's an awesome idea, the plot lines thing. It will help us organize a bit more if we do it just right. You'll have to set up a rules/explanitory page to avoid mass confusion, lol, but once we got that going I think we could have quite a bit of fun with that. Moving the characters around to new places, however, would be a bit of a hassle, but it isn't something that can't be worked out.

Also, even when we do move the original thread to the guild, we should probably keep the ooc thread going as it is, because it will help us remind each other to check for posts and will still allow us to be seen by those searching in Barton Town for role plays.

I think that those are pretty much all the plot lines. I've not seen others, (Honestly, I haven't payed must attentions to others besides the main characters. My bad=/)

It could really develope our characters in great ways! And make the guild a lot more active that way if someone isn't on in thread, you can go on in another. No one can get stuck! Unless life really hates you . Lol
