Persephone laughed at Marduke's words for a moment, then became serious.
"She honestly is, though," Sephie said. "And my relatives, well...it didn't used to be this way, you know, when my parents were alive. But no one knows how to handle their death. My aunt and uncle are afraid of everything now, my grandmother believes they're still alive and it's all just a trick, which makes it harder for everyone else," she said in a low tone. "I'd understand if they died a few months ago, but it happened three years ago. Now everyone's all disfuntional and they don't like to look at me because i look like my parents. I'm over it, though," she finished. "I'm continuing on with my life, just as i was before. they can accept it or they can keep whining about it, i don't care anymore."

"why do adults never know how to hand adult thing?"

"Because adults think they know it all, and thus end up dealing with things the wrong way," Ginger said quietly, then looked up at the ceiling, which reflected a quite sunny day, yet cloudy. It might even end up raining, she thought to herself, a bit too hopefully.

Naira looked around and saw a bunch of people sitting a little farther away from her. "This year's gonna be different," She said and got up and walked up to them."Hi," she said.

Persephone turned her head to look at the girl who'd just come up to them. She was the second person to approach the Slytherin table this way, a rather unusual gesture.
"Hey," Sephie said, smiling. "I'm Persephone. Who're you?"

Ginger looked surprised at feeling stuffed. She hadn't eaten that much yet, had she? She couldn't remember. Oh well.
"I'll be off, then, girls. Short walk to the lake and back before classes."

Trista figured that she'd better go too after Ginger got up to take her leave. "I think I'll be heading out too. See ya later, everyone." Trista gave a short wave and stood up with Roxy at her heels, stealing another piece of sausage off her plate before turning and walking towards the doors and back up to her common room.

"I'm Naira. I'm a Gryffindor, but there isnt really anyone at my table, so I thought I would come over and say hi and now i'm just babbling and I'm going to shut up now." Naira looked down and stood awkwardly waiting for the girl to say something.

Randy sat down at the Ravenclaw table at the far end. He didn't know anyone and wasn't comfortable around people he didn't know.

...I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not again...

Serephany walked through the massive double doors that led to the Dining Hall. Keeping her gaze directly forward, she navigated her way through the crowd until she got to the Slytherin table. A girl was saying that her name was Persephone when she arrived, grinning widely she decided to make herself known. Sitting down across from the girl named Persephone, and the girl who's name was Naria, she spoke in a smooth voice, like honey. "Hello, my name is Serephany Wingates, it's a pleasure to meet you all" She informed them with a divine smile, as her nose twitched slightly, smelling something from across the room, but ignored it.

...It's quite deceiving as I'm feeling the flesh make me bad..

Ryu walked into the Great Hall as his Eagle Owl flew down to his table. Ryu ran and quickly unattached the two long and narrow parcels from it's leg. He quickly grabbed some treats out of his pockets and threw them up high. His eagle owl swished up, grabbed them, and left the Great Hall. Ryu sped out of the Great Hall to the feilds.
