Watari doesn't specialize in ki, though he can fly, but his innate Tarnb-jin abilities allow him to change his sex on command (((OOC: Watari in Yami is always working on an instant sex change potion))) as well as to pull spirits and souls of an individual from photos or drawings (((OOC: Watari in Yami can do this as well))).
Weapons: Usually a gun that fires ki enhanced bullets.
Background: Not much is known about Watari.
He "claims" to have a family, but many scientists believe that this is a lie due to the fact that he never goes home. In fact, Watari doesn't sleep either. Whether this is one of his innate abilities, or from an invention of his own, is unknown.
As for that family, Watari does have a younger sister (((OOC: Who turns out to be Hapushi!))) that was once blind. Watari invented optical cameras that would attach directly to her sensorys, allowing for Hapushi to see. The only draw back is that to interface with a computer, or to read one in any way, she must wear a helmet or special goggles designed for her specifically.
Watari has a constant companion owl, named 003 (or Zero-Zero-Terii, as that's how his name would be said), that is always on his shoulder and is a constant companion (((OOC: Kinda like PIG from Harry Potter))).
Usually happy and free spirited, Watari tries to keep himself on a low profile from Aled's radar. However, he has been responsible for almost all of the inventions on Tarnbsei in the last 24 years, including the Ki and Tarnb-jin Ability Cuffs.

Special Abilities / Attacks: He's a kazetsukai, a wind master. He has the ability to transfer himself anywhere he wishes to be, and then create his body. This also allows him to enter into the bodies of others, possessing them for a time.
Weapons: The wind, and his ki.
Background: Not much is known about Seiichirou. Usually he goes by his last name of Aoki. He lives alone in a grand house just outside of the city. He is also one of Aled's most trusted council members and something of a challenge for Kaguyo (as far as fighting goes).

Special Abilities: Enhanced sight. Because of this, if she fights, she uses her own weapon-- a bow that fires ki arrows as well as normal ones.
Weapons: Pistols, knifes, chemicals, anything she can find in the lab, her ki-bow
Backround: Yuki is an only child, born in one of the impoverished villages of Tarnbsei. Despite her difficulties, she has managed to keep many jobs, which has given her little time for romance. She's really more or less given up on it. Regardless of this, she struggles much like the rest of her people, especially during the winter famines. Her father is alive but blind, while her mother died a few winters back, unable to make it home before the snow hit. Her father was blinded fighting in one of the many wars Freezer forced their people through.
She's not really that much of a fighter, especially in close-range combat.
All the while, she went to school and excelled in scientific courses, although she was unable to procure a job in her field of study. She's quiet, analytical, sweet and obedient, although she's been worn down by nearly 4 decades of poverty.

Name: Shiori Matsumoto
Age: 37
Hair: Dark brown-black
Eyes: Mood-eyes, usually brown, but frequently green, yellow, blue and lavender depending on her mood.
Height: 5'3"
Alignment: Neutral
Planet of Origin: Tarnbsei
Special abilities: Her Tarnbjin abilities include having a third eye, enabling her to see whether or not someone is telling her the truth. It also allows her to hypnotize, see one's plans from time to time, future, death/misfortune, true forms and hands in poker.
Although she doesn't admit it, she uses it often for gambling purposes. Times have been hard on Tarnbsei after all.
When she does this, she'll usually disguise it with a headband or kerchief.
.....Yes, and likewise, the eye's color changes with her moods also. It's usually indigo.
Weapons: Ki fans and poi. She's an expert at dancing with fire; when she cannot gamble, she dances, cleans, and does whatever she has to (save whoring) to make ends meet. She is proud and dignified, however weak she may be. She can fight if she has to, but for the most part fighting entails hypnotizing her enemies and bolting like hell (so long as a quick, efficient, quiet death is unavailable).
Backround: Shiori is the child of military parents who both died in Freezer's wars, causing her to be very callous and suspicious of Tarnbsei's royalty and system of government. She has two younger sisters who live comfortably but she doesn't keep in touch with. She was once employed in farming and flower-tending, as a guide around the Tarnbjin countryside and forests, and continuing her parents' business; however, with the economy failing, she was fired and lost the business to bankruptcy.
She turned to singing and dancing, adding poi (firedancing) and fire-spitting acts to increase revenues.
As nice as the pay was, it was hard to fire dance in the lengthy Tarnbjin winters, forcing her to sew and do other menial work just for a few bowls of rice a week. She's had many opportunities to marry, however, she snubbed her suitors, wanting to make it on her own first.
This, of course, has proven much more difficult than she figured. Because she's always working, and the nature of her work, she rarely speaks or socializes, not exactly very fond of people at all.
Truthfully, life has made Shiori bitter and cynical, and trusting anyone other than kids---even those little bastards are dicey--is about impossible for her.

Special Abilities / Attacks: Magic and divining.
Weapons: Katana
Background: Descended from the Fuchouin line; Hikaru is said to possess mystical powers, the same as his predecessor before him. The magic and divining of the Fuchouin line is unparalleled in this world of Tarnbsei, 1,000 years after the planet's last great civilization. Born into the service of the Emperor of Minamoto, Hikaru grew up as a childhood friend of the Emperor's youngest son, Akatsuki Ishida. He has remained with Akatsuki through thick and thin, and now serves him as his right hand and adviser.
The Fuchouin clan's whereabouts are a strict secret, and to come upon one of their people is rare indeed. It is said that the Fuchouin's are direct descendants of demons which inhabited Tarnbsei long ago. When the first Emperor Ishida claimed the lands, once known as Ayers, and changed the name to Minamoto, the Fuchouin clan swore their loyalty and powers to the Emperor and his descendants. Thus, there has always been a Fuchouin in the Palace.
There is also the rumor, amongst the common folk, that Hikaru has influenced Akatsuki. This is, of course, a false rumor. However... it doesn't change the fact that the two are very close. Secretly... Hikaru is actually in love with Akatsuki, though his feelings have never been reciprocated.
However... Hikaru Fuchouin has a few incredibly dark secrets of his own; one involving this planet's past... and the other, the elder brother of Akatsuki, Shouryuu Ishida...
