Persons infected with the T-virus appear to be dead, but this is only a period of hibernation while the virus takes over the cellular structure of the person, reanimates the muscles and nervous system and restructures target DNA strands. The corpse then rises and the T-virus motivates the new creature to seek out and feed upon living creatures. Turning people into biological weapons is indeed the most insidious plot ever devised.

A miniscule enemy, the crows pose almost no threat to you and are very scarce. Though these seemingly powerless creatures carry no sign of the T-virus, then can do some damage while piercing through your skin and flesh. The crows travel in large packs and are very easy to defeat. In fact, one hit from ANY weapon will kill them.

Not even close to being as deadly as their larger relative (Yawn), but just as poisonous. The small snake, just like the crows, is a very miniscule enemy. These snakes are never seen alone, so the best thing to do is run. Wasting ammo or being killed is not the best decisions to make when confronted with these little enemies.

The Beta Hunters in look almost unfinished from the waist, up. Though seemingly unfinished, these guys still haven't lost their deadliness that they showed as normal Hunters. The Beta Hunters have Hunters agility and speed, and the deadly decapitation maneuver. Nothing with less powerful than the shotgun should be used on these guys as they are tough

Similar to the Hunter, the Gamma Hunters are also quick and agile, thus the moist environment they reside in. You will meet the Gamma Hunters around swamps also in the Raccoon City Hospital. The Gamma Hunters are as deadly as the Hunter and when they catch you when you are weak, they have the ability to swallow you whole. Heavy firepower should be used when dealing with these guys.

The lickers were named after their long tongue, which they use to attack humans so they don't have to go next to them. They are easily recognized either from their tongue, or from the fact that they have missing patches of skin and razor-like claws. The lickers are fast and able to cling on to walls, which makes them a real pain in the a**.

Insect B.O.W.s based on various ‘bugs’ created by repeated DNA manipulation made with the T-virus and prey upon their victims with scythe-like forelimbs. When evaluated as a weapon, their fatal defeat was their lack of intelligence required for executing orders; thus, research on this type was discontinued.

Simian-test subjects for the B.O.W. project, these creatures are nothing more than leftovers from the research. Due to its abnormal muscular development, the skin of the former ape begins to tare apart. Through its athletic abilities, Eliminators perform astounding swift attacks using the walls and ceiling. They often attack as a group, surrounding prey and attacking from all sides with an instinctive strategy.

Inhabiting the power maze located in the underground lab, the Chimeras are one of Umbrella’s most unsuccessful experiments. They are quite fast and have the ability to hang from the ceiling, only to drop onto your back and slash wildly at you. The best defense when facing a Chimera is running, but your Bazooka or Colt Python will suit ya well if you’re looking for a fight.
