Great, another boring tutorial you have to read, right? Wrong.
This tutorial is here because I know all of you want to save the guild just as much as I do. So, instead of letting it slip into oblivion, you should read and abide by the suggestions in the following tutorial. This tutorial is here to foster the growth and maintenance of the guild, so be thrilled to read something that could save a place you enjoy coming to. Be excited about your guild--enthusiasm is infectious!
Tutorial/ Additional Guidelines:
1. You should make at least seven posts in the guild a week. This is not an unreasonable request as most of you post a lot more than that on Gaia per week!
a) Posts do not need to be long, but posting one word does not count (especially if it is "bump"). b) Your seven post minimum can be made all in the same day or on separate days. c) If you are on vacation, or cannot access a computer, your absence from the guild will not be punished. d) Obviously, you are allowed to make more than seven posts a week! Make as many as you like!
2. You must post at least three RP responses to someone else's RP post. Reason: This way, if you are in a separate time zone, you can trust that someone will respond to your RP.
a) The same guidelines apply for this guideline as do apply for the seven post guideline above. b) These posts can count as part of or in addition to your minimum of seven posts, if you like. c) If there is no one to respond to yet (which shouldn't happen if everyone is following these guidelines), then you can, of course, make your own RP post for someone else to interact with.
3. Contests, anyone? I would love to have contests to boost guild interest and cohesion. Please PM me if you would like to donate a prize (or prizes) and we can work out an appropriate contest for it (/them). Prizes could include gold, donation letters, other items, avatar art, etc. Contest types will be determined at the discretion of myself and the prize donor.
4. Join the Mentorship thread!
5. Don't be afraid to make a new thread. Just make sure that the genre of your thread is not already covered by one of the existing threads. If you are unsure, please contact myself or one of the mods. Also, RP quest threads must be approved by myself and the mods before they are created.
6. In general, be an active member, be creative, and have fun!
