Have you ever noticed how the books are 10 times better than their movies! For example, the harry potter movies(specifically the fourth) was horrible compared to the book! The Eragon movie was not even worth it! What are your opinions on this subject??

Yup! Has anyone ever seen the movie Where the Heart Is? It is a good movie but the book is better....and I read it after seeing the movie!!

Yeah, that's true, mostly all the movies are kind of lame, if you know what I mean.
The books are always better! blaugh

I like the movie but i hate em too because they either change the book too much or they too many important things out.

Have you seen the fifth HP movie?
They cut out HUGE chunks out of
the book. Liek ‘Weasley is our king’
of the part when Harry finds out
about the thesrals((sp))..
and Grawp. Gah! They DESTROYED
the story.

I do agree they destroy books when put into movies though i do have to admit they made The Color Purple into a very good movie they left out parts but nothing that was really important. I do have to admit they murdered the harry potter books when they made them movies.

and the Lord Of The Rings?the films are beautiful,I ve seen them so many times...but they are nothing against the book!!

aaahhh...and Troy?it's terrible...I feel bad every time I see it...Iliad of Homer is a real masterpiece...maybe the biggest of ancient literature...

For me it depends on which I encountered first. When I read the book first then most of the time I absolutely hate the movies like the HP ones, but when i see the movie first then read the book I generally like the movie better like with Gone with Wind
