CryptoHomoRocker Lou Reed rocks!! and the velvet underground is my favourite band of all times, but they weren´t glam, thou lou reed hang out whit bowie he was a plain rocker.. Transformer (he's first album)thou was very glam.. What do you think about iggy pop??

I'm not terribly well-versed on other glam artists, though I've been meaning to get into more glam music for some time. I heard a bit of The Stooges' (one of Iggy Pop's first signed bands) work, and found it to be quite awesome. My father's into Alice Cooper, and I like Alice's stuff pretty well. Then there's Queen...they weren't purely glam, of course, but they had glam-ish influences over several of their early albums.
Oh yeah, and then there's Elton John--he was sort of glam-influenced at points, right? Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting, anyone? (Not that I'm calling Elton a glam rocker, of course--THAT would be a stellar way to show off my musical idiocy here at Loving the Alien... rofl )
