umm..... i think it was some lame country song.... my bass teacher loves country music lol
EDIT: now that i think about it, i learned Money, by Pink Floyd at my first bass lesson. xd

The first whole song I played was something by Green Day (forget the name) while I was having a short jam session/lesson with my tutor and my brother, who plays drums and almost literally worships Metallica's drummer rofl

I don't remember if it was Great Big White World, The Dope Show, Sweet Dreams, The Beautiful People, The Minute of Decay, or The Fight Song, but it was one of Marilyn Manson's songs that I was listening to at the time.
