((So sorry for the insane delay...))
Japi smiled back at the two and Catnip gave them a curious look, wheels seemed to be turning in her head.
"Hello," Japi answered through her smile. "My name is Japi. And this," she motioned to the sprite on her shoulder, "is Catnip."
And with that, Catnip let out a meow-like sound. "I want a name too, Mommy."
"Huh?" Japi was confused.
"A name, like her." She pointed to Ari.
"Oh..." Japi blushed. "I hadn't realized. I always liked the sound of catnip, so I just... Sorry dear."
"It's okay, Mommy," Catnip purred against her ear. "I still love you."
"Well then," Japi continued. "What kind of name would you like?"
"You pick."
Japi looked at Taneko, maybe for ideas, she wasn't sure, she looked around at the rest of the parents and sprites... running through anime titles in her head, thinking of names.
"How does Aisha sound?"
"Sounds great to me," Aisha purred and grinned.
Japi turned back to Taneko, "So... umm... this is Aisha," she said. "And I'm Japi, oh wait, I think I said that already." She smiled nervously, cheeks turning slightly pink.

Calypso giggled silently from her place on Taneko's shoulder. Turning her head slightly, Taneko gave her a slight glare that said "be nice", but it was softened with a smile. It was obvious that the pair had only found each other recently, and they were still going through the first bonding sessions that they were bound to have sooner or later.
Letting the soft smile grow into a fullfledged toothy grin, Taneko turned back to Japi "It's nice to meet you Japi, Cat- Sorry, Aisha" she nodded at them respectively, before continuing. "I am guessing that you two are new to all of this?" she motioned to the setting around her, vaguely noting the other parents standing around making small talk and having fun.
Tuning out Taneko's conversation, Calypso turned her attention to the blue sprite. "sooo... Aisha... are you really a plant sprite? I mean... you look more like a cat to me" her eyebrow furrowed slightly, her brain not really capable of wrapping itself around the prospect of an animal sprite. "I mean... you don't look like a plant sprite... you look... sorta... weird" she finished off, obviously trying to fish for better words to describe the blue sprite's appearance.
...Surprise!

Japi blushed a little more. "Yeah, I'm new to this," she said, feet shifting back and forth. "I've had lots of pets before, and I've even raised children, but a plant is new to me," she said, "Especially one with a sprite attached to it..."
Aisha wasn't too interested in the conversation of the large people either. Japi always seemed to have important things to talk about, but Aisha just wanted to have fun.
"I'm a sprite all right," she replied to the pink haired one with a grin. "A catnip sprite. Catnip is a plant that smells good and has big soft leaves." She leaned forward to whisper the rest. "I've gotta be careful though, cause Japi said real cats really like it." She sat back up on Japi's shoulder, grabbing her tail. "But Japi will protect me!" She hid behind her tail.
