Eh heh. What evidence have you found? Because if you've guessed on your own, well...
you're pretty good. Akito is, indeed, female. It's revealed in chapter 97.

i found this weird website that had little journals for each charecter and they all refered to akito as a girl calling it their queen and weirdness i read akitos and it was all like i cant let them know im a girl waaa waaa im ganna die
