In the center of the valley is the remnant of what was the largest volcano on Ulhar kethend. The outter cauldara is now a large mountain, and inside you will see desolate rockscapes, filled with toxic gases. Going closer to the center you will find what is left of the volcano: a much smaller active volcano that occasionally erupts qand sends forth lava to spread around it to make it slightly bigger than it was before.
The only creatures who can safely go into this region are Lava dragons, or fire dragons who are used to the hostile enviroment.
Most other creatures don't like going into this area for the fact that they like living, and don't have the magical protection required to enter such a hostile place.
