trickylove MindMage trickylove I'm thinking of a General Games Forum. basicly if you want to talk about a particular series or something that spans different platforms. Well I think what we would do if your talking about a game that spans all three systems, you would make your thread like this...
XBOX/PS2/GC: Soul Calibur 2
But if you wanted to talk strictly about the GC version and all of Link's awesomeness then you would go like...
GC: Soul Calibur 2
Although if things latter on get out of control, I'll definetly consider. But what if you want to talk about the Soul Calibur series as a whole? or the Resident Evil series as a whole? or Zelda which spans almost almost all generations. Edit: I was just thinking, maybe those kinds of topics can go in the main section (IE this one.) Tricky, you have just brought up a very good point. You know, any game that can leap from generation to generation must be good and so I will allow any game series thread to be made here on the main page. And with Twilight Princess days away, I think now is the best time to approve this idea.

When the guild gets bigger, you should create a trash bin to throw locked threads into.

But rather than make a trash subforum, why not just delete the thread completely? sweatdrop

Illyrio Hmm, to resolve that whole.... games on many chains thing, wouldn't it make sense to make a game series subforum... you know, to tackle the tough issues, things like when exactly did Akuma make it into the Street fighter Arc? Is Gogo the same person, in FF5&6? Even better yet, who the ******** is Gogo, and is it a name like Cid? How many Final Fantasies has Cloud been in? Yeah I see that these are pretty broad... but I'll help. Anyway, back to what I was saying, a series subforum should be able to cover all the deep, nessisary discussions, like why there are 8,000,000,000 streetfighter 2 games, or the good old why is the first bubsy nothing like the other ones. I donated 2000 gold, so if you are up for it, the guild now has the funding for it.

Oh thank you for donation Illyrio, and let me say you have been an awesome member and I'm glad your part of the guild.
So far though the lay out is pretty good, I mean if someone wanted to talk about Street Fighter 2 they have several choices were to make the thread, hell it could be on the main page, big SF fan and I wouldn't disaprove of such topic.
But yeah, if any concern on where a thread should go just ask any of the mods and we will see where it goes. 3nodding
And Gouki/Akuma first apperance was in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. 3nodding

Err... This doesn't fit the theme of the thread but I have no idea where else to put it. What's the deal with the monthly threads? I originally thought you hadn't made the Febuary one cause you were on vacation, but as we venture deeper into march I see no new thread. Not complaining or anything, it makes no difference really, just curious. So was it never meant to go past Jan, or is it just in the works? (coming up with theme idea, forgot about it for a while, etc.)
EDIT April 3. 2k7: I think my farts are made of Shoki or something cause all the guilds I'm in have almost zero activity now sweatdrop
