I suppose close runner ups would be .Hack//Sign, Death Note, and then Naruto. Wolf's Rain, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Inuyasha, and Rurouni Kenshin might make it close to the list, but I haven't seen them in so long that it's hard to compare.
