Sorry Nari has been without posting for a while...The guild rp's require a lot of attention for Nari to put out a decent post, and it's just not coming lately. Some bad stuff going on Nari doesn't care to bring up, and the cable company seems to be having some issues on top of it.
The new developments in Yomi seem interesting, Nari shall get back into the game as soon as the muse descends.
Love all you guys, have some candy. *Tosses around Halloween candy Nari can't eat*

But, hey, that's cool. Because they're always the scary ones in combat. >D

If you mean scary as in no one will fight them because of their facial hair, then you'd be correct. xD

Schevia Yeah, so could somebody explain to me the plot change? I read it and get confused. @.@ It's a plot Tismos started, and it's the first plot that ties all the threads together. See, the Kusanagi (And it's various other names.) is a sword that Susanoo found while he was exiled to the mortal realm in the tail of a beast he killed. Pretty much it's a sword similar to the Excalibur, because lf the legends surrounding it. So, Susanoo goes on to pass the sword on to Amaterasu. Amaterasu, the mother of Japan, passes the sword down on to what I believe was the first Emperor of Japan. So because of it's importance in Shintoism, the death of the spirit inside is something so signifiant that it shook the two positive realms and caused Takamagahara to weep and Yomi to tremble. So, what became of the Kusanagi after the spirit passed on into the realm of the Shinigami, it's power was given to Elexial, Tismos' character. 3nodding

I tried to read all of the plots but I think I have succeeded in nothing more than over-stimulating myself resulting in a near aneurism.
Can anyone give a brief summery or recap of everything?

I cannot recap the other plots, but I shall try to cover the important details of mine.
1) The Imperial Regalia of Japan has three symbols in it. A mirror, a jewel, and a sword. The sword is "Kusanagi". Kusanagi is like the Excalibur, but the Japanese version. See esrev-ER's post above.
2) The spirit of Kusanagi, Ame Murakumo-No-Tsurugi (Sword of Billowing Clouds), is an immortal kami who took mortal form and hid among the priests of the August Star. She foresaw the fall of Takamagahara at the hands of a Westerner who would enter Japan and join the forces of the August Star. Kusanagi knew that if this should happen it might bring about the end of Japan, for this Westerner would also be in a position of political importance prior to his training. When Elexial surfaced among the students of the August Star, Kusanagi knew (or so she believes) she had found the child who's fate would decide the fate of Japan.
3) When Elexial attained his enlightenment he encountered Kusanagi atop the tallest mountain overlooking the valley of the three shrines and killed her in an iaijutsu duel. This was to be his final test, for only if he could defeat the spirit of Kusanagi without wielding it was he ready to receive it. The sword he now wields is the Kusanagi itself, but he has become the new spirit of the sword. However, because he is still young and has not yet mastered himself or the blade, the sword is not nearly as powerful as it once was. This is a dangerous time for Elexial, because he is extremely vulnerable and has not completely adapted to his transcendent incarnation. His memory is riddled with holes where he has forgotten much of his former experience of things and many sensations are so new to him that he has become as indecisive as a breeze before a storm.
4) I haven't yet finished my next post, which explains this next part, but Izanagi himself condemned Kusanagi to Yomi because of his disgust upon learning that she defiled herself by becoming a priestess of the August Star. Amaterasu is greatly angered by her father's ruthlessness, and Susanoo too, who considers this a direct insult to himself. None of them yet know about Elexial. Izanami on the otherhand sees this as the perfect opportunity to free herself from Yomi and is prepared to declare open war against Takamagahara. If she can find and capture the soul of Ame Murakumo-No-Tsurugi, she will corrupt her and use her power against the barrier stone sealing off Yomi, thus breaching the gates of hell.
5) The forces of the August Star, meanwhile, teem and circle the arena like vultures, waiting for one side to slay the other so they can descend and kill whomever remains. They will bide their time for now and send spies in the mortal realm and into the shrines of both Yomi and Takamagahara in order to learn as much as they can about the weaknesses of their enemies before they strike.
6) Finally, there are many sages and students who speak of the imminent return of the Exiles - the students of the mind. They may be a sort of wildcard at this point, which could tip the balance of power in any direction. It is unclear yet what part they have to play in this dark time. Only time will tell what influence they will have on the events soon to pass.
