A cute plushie yopu just couldn't resist right? Well, what if you loved it so much ti came to life? That what happens here, with a odd cat-like creature dubbed "plushikats" - a plush which comes to life and grows up. A little bit magical, and a lot of cantankerous cat-a-tude sometimes they're your best friends and sometimes can be your worst enemies whenthey get into your laundry or items! You can't help but love them. whee

Physiology

Size: The plushie is roughly one foot tall. A child is about the same size when sitting. Adults are about two and a half feet in length standing, not counting their tails. This isn't true for ALL but it's a rough guideline. Plushikats end up bigger then housecats, basically, by their adulthood.

Speech: Plushikats can both make cat-like noises and mind-speak to anyone as children freely, although they need to be taught certain things. They seem to have a basic grasp upon de-plushing for certain basic needs and a basic set of vocabulary. (This will be explained in story/RP at some point...) It is unknown if becoming an adult allows anything more, however, Liareene seems to be trying to speak words anyway. More on that if something comes of it.

Wings: Plushikat wings are much like faery wings except not translucent - with one exception: adult male wings transform into feathery wings. They aren't delicate however; plushikat wings can withstand quite a bit, as they are cats at heart and get into tumbles and fights.

Flight: Children and Adults are both capable of flight, even if their wings do not look capable of supporting them; they are magical creatures after all. Flight is not quite inherent, but if a situation arises to force the kat into needing to fly, they can quickly adapt by instinct. And yes, plushikats almost ALWAYS land on their feet.

Magic: Plushikats are magical creatures, but their powers will not show until adulthood or just before so. Some special kats seem more strongly linked however, and may be capable as children of minor feats. However, as adults their powers will always manifest. These can range from element-based magics to various minor creation powers to illusions or other things. Regular Plushikats do not possess very strong magic; even specials are not capable of moving mountains. (Basic power to be determined by owner - please be sensible and non-god-midding about it. Mintaka reserves the right to 'give' a kat a new power. Specials noted to eb linked to an element/something may perform minor feats as children as well... and when they go adult, their power will be stronger then regulars.)

I only accept 1 custom at a time due to the nature of working on them. However, if you really want one, and the slot is not open or taken, for 10k I may consider taking one.

And no, customs don't mean you can get lineart edits/extra items. It just menas you choose the color. I suppose if I were bribed badly enough I could consider special editing, but since that takes more time and effort, obviously it's going to be a very steep bribe. eek

On the other hand, nice people and otherwise those I deem worthy might get consideration more. ninja Play by the rules, you'll get rewarded. When the slot actually opens I'll include a form - and all requests will need to be sent to this account - Plushikats.

Pet Trades

I may or may not accept a trade, it depends on what I'm being offered. I currently don't have a list of desires at the moment offhand. All requests MUST be sent to this account, and I reserve the right to turn down a trade.

Just as a note, the owners and pets do exist together here; although one does not need the other to be around [that is, the kats can be alone here]. This is just so people know they're welcome to post as themselves.

RP takes place normally here in the shop. It's fun, lighthearted often but can have some more serious things. Plot RP threads will always be in the guild. Some plot stuff that happens in shop will happen in this thread. You are allowed to make journal threads for your kats in the Guild. If you have an idea for an RP thread please PM Plushikats with it and I will review it.

[[ Roleplay Rules ]]

01. IC and OOC are seperate entities! What happens ICly is NOT OOC. If person A attacks/hates person B IC... it does NOT mean that's true OOC. Don't hate someone IC because you hate them OOC, either. Keep them seperate... I don't want problems regarding this, and this is a pet peeve of mine. If I see problems between people resulting from IC/OOC blurring or OOC/IC reasons to go after someone [as in, "OMG they did this too me IC *attacks with insults OOC*"] I will grey or black list you. Don't make me go this far.

02. Please keep OOC in brackets in any IC thread. Brackets can be (( )), [[ ]], or {{ }}... I don't think there's another really effective means to that end. If it's an OOC thread like the General Chatter, you don't need brackets and everything within that thread is considered OOC and does not count towards RP. Try not to get too "ICly OOC" with the Plsuhikats in those types of threads so we don't get confused. wink

03. No God mode. The only person allowed to god mode is... me! And I won't aside being GM of course... so I do get rights to god mode people for plot purposes, but I will always talk beforehand. You can plan thigns of course which might play out a little like godmodding, and that's okay, but if anyone feels uncomfortable with someoen regarding another's actions, let me know. Basically: don't control other people's characters without permission.
